Just came across this from thinkfn.com (http://www.thinkfn.com/artigo.php?id=105)

In the last few days, it has come to my knowledge the existance of a new investment scheme which would blush anyone. Any Banker, any investor, any trader.

This investment scheme is named PIPS, and it’s based in Malaysia. It now has members all around the world, with estimates running around 150 000 of them (according to the “Pipsters” in their own message boards).

The URL for the PIPS manager is www.pipsinc.com, and for the PIPS forum it’s http://forum.pipsinc.com/phpBB2/index.php.

Why is this Investment Scheme so impressive? Well, it’s simple, it’s because the promised returns are around 2% PER DAY, compounded monthly in the reinvested share (in reality, 1.9% daily after commissions). Such that the minimum investment of 472.5 USD would, if all reinvested daily, produce an account size of 19950 USD at the end of one year, or 42X the initial outlay.

I’ve added translation links to babelfish such that if readers have preference to read it in their native language, you can choose the links (on the side bar under Translation Tools) and they will convert directly for you.

The frame on the top after the translation might be annoying, but you can minimise it. Now there’re options yea?

Clubinvest, a program offered by Feederfund (review on Feederfund) has been acquitted by ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission). That’s good news for Feederfund members and investors who placed their monies on Clubinvest.

    From https://www.clubinvest.net/default.aspx?Nav=visitor/ctlNewsletter,

    Clubinvest / ASIC Settlement
    Ends 17-month Federal Court Proceedings

    Dear Shareholders,

We are pleased to announce that Clubinvest has reached a final settlement with ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) to conclude the civil proceedings commenced by ASIC in 2004 in the Federal Court of Australia against Clubinvest, Biri International and some of their directors.

ASIC was concerned that, notwithstanding our being based in Vanuatu, Clubinvest (and previously, Biri International) provided financial services and carried on financial services business in Australia without holding an Australian Financial Services License.

Before we go into this information email, there is an important matter we need to advise everyone of.

A quick question to all of you out there…
How many of you are involved in paid to surf programs? At this point I am a paid to surf virgin nad looking to bust my cherry as quickly as I can have the funds available in e-gold. Will be starting with 12 Daily Pro, but I would be interested in hearing any experiences with other programs. I don’t like the 7 day delay on payments from 12dp, but the rate is pretty good and it has been around for a while.

It’s actually old news, from Trader-Jack’s website.

I do sincerely wish everyone gets back their money.

    September 30, 2005

Dear Friends and Members of Trader Jack:

Unfortunately after trying for the better part of the last 2 weeks we have found no way to salvage and continue with our current site. The script we’ve been using to run the Trader Jack website simply cannot support the the site traffic or the weight of the database. Last weekend we seriously overpaid withdrawal requests by 2x, 3x, and in some cases, 4x the amount owed because the database multiplied these requests as a result of the strain and data corruption.

As the scams we encounter become more sophisticated, our methods of scam detection need to be improved. In a recent scam, a promising looking hyip posted an address and contact phone number. The rates of return were high, but not that high all things considered and I decided to take a punt. I had considered that the information posted on that site might have been bogus, but judging from the customer support and the speedy responses to emails that I got, I thought I would go out on a limb. I tested them with $50.

Feederfund has been around for quite sometime as far as I remember. A friend was telling me this is the real thing, the rest of the HYIP hypes are mere Ponzis or bullshits online. Lacking the interest as other HYIPs are offering alot higher interest rates, I ditched Feederfund and got burnt, lesson well learnt.
