    Answer :
    Hi Ivan,

We still have a little bit of a backlog on payout requests, but we are getting a closer each day, to our usual on time payments. I’m hoping the following will help you understand the current reason for delay.

As you probably know, payout at Maximumsurf was not made for the month of October 2005. This was due to a server failure in October. Bill had offered all members renewed shares that didn’t expire for an additional year. That offer cost some of the renewals Maximum would otherwise have seen revenues from. What you may not know is that two weeks later someone hacked into the system at Maximumsurf. This totalled about 3 full days of “sales” which Maximumsurf did not receive the money for during the time he was unaware of the problem. Still, he honored those sales for every member, taking full responsibility for the fact that the site was not as secure as he had initially thought. It took 2 more days to make it secure and keep it that way.

During the course of the transfer of the old Maximumsurf site to the new script, as well as the ensuing issues in making the site secure, there was some additional loss of revenue from Google because the ads seen on the old Maximumsurf site, were not yet in place.

Even as this was in the process of happening, MoneyBookers decided it was time for recertification of the autosurf accounts, and stopped all transactions while that process took place… for two weeks.

This sounds like a horror story already, but it only gets worse as the egold site fails to operate properly over the course of another week. The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the INTgold raid by the FBI which put them offline for a few days.

Each of these incidents meant lost revenue to some degree. Combined the way they all happened one on top of another could have been devastating to any site, creating a totally “non-income effect” for about a weeks worth of revenues.

The fact is, that Bill had always planned ahead for a rough time, just never expecting such a rough time all at once.

It’s really no wonder payouts are a week late at the moment. Egold is still the most lagging by nearly another week, but all payouts are a bit behind.

The most recent news came a few days ago. MoneyBookers notified Bill that they no longer wanted to service autosurfs. This is MoneyBookers new general policy and is is not specific to the Maximum Family sites.

Still, your payouts are being made. Yes, they are somewhat slow for the first time ever in the history of Maximumsurf. We are gaining more ground on payouts each day and Bill is hoping you will give the Maximum Family of sites a chance to show you that your payout may be slightly delayed, but that you will get it no matter which site or sites you are a member of. A lesser webmaster would have “tossed in the towel” in facing all these events in such a short period of time. It is Bills intention that he do what he has always said he would do, and that is to keep the sites viable. It is stated within the terms of the Maximum Family sites. It is simply his hope that in sharing this with you, you will be better equipped to understand the “behind the scenes” matters at hand and judge our sites while you keep this new information in mind.

Thank you for your patience in reading this long explanation. Please bear with us as we are attempting to keep everyone’s payout requests as up to date as possible.

Thank You for supporting the MaximumSurf.Com family.
