Please disregard all previous posts about Stormpay. I will not be making any further decisions until the situation is totally clear. This may take some days. In the meantime the surf bar will remain switched off.
Stormpay: Will it ever end. Update. I have begun to process some Stormpay payment requests, as promised but now we have another twist. It seems that Stormpay, in their wisdom have decided to randomly send refunds to some members without any requests from the members concerned, and without any notification to me. Thank you to the members concerned who emailed me about this. Some members have also been initiating chargebacks. (I have no problem with this). What this means, as I have no access to my stormpay account, and am not receiving any communications from them at all, is that I have no idea who has been refunded or who has not. Obviously I cannot continue to payout to different processors under this scenario. As soon as I have access to my Stormpay account, all upgrades made since January 1 will be refunded. If I do not get that access within another 24 hours, I will email Stormpay and give them authority to refund all payments made within that time frame.
Cashouts for Paypal and e-gold are progressing as normal. They are a little slower than normal because of referral commission issues with downline members Stormpay upgrades, and each account must be physically checked before processing payout. I am currently on target to have these payouts completed by the 9th, within the normal 7 day period.
Site Issues. We have some ongoing site issues we must address. Members who managed to surf this morning were not credited, and we are working to resolve this and other problems. Until we resolve these problems there is no need to surf. All members will be compensated at a later date by a higher percentage surf day.
The contact link is re-opened, but please before you email us, think about this. We still have some emails waiting to be answered dating back to about the 20th. Those that are important will be replied to, and/or the required action taken. Since we re-opened to new members we have had 10,000 new members sign up. Many of those did not receive an activation email and then emailed us (as instructed) to have their accounts activated. This had to be done manually and was very time consuming. We also offered a first time bonus for $50 upgrades, which also had to be added manually. Many members upgraded their accounts and then immediately emailed us to ask about the bonus. There was no need to do this, as we were working through the bonuses and had a message on the members page to that effect. Then we had a problem with logins, bang, 5000 emails. Problem with compounding, another 5000 emails, not to mention the hundreds of emails which were asking questions already answered on the faq page or in previous messages on the members page. Then the stormpay issue, and the latest surfbar issue, would have brought another 10,000 so you can see why we had to close the contact link. So please before you send us an email. 1. Think for a moment, Is this a subject that hundreds of other people will be emailing about. If so there will be an answer posted on the members page. 2. Is this question answered in the faqs? If so please refer to the faqs. Thank you
In addition to the above, it is very hard to answer all those emails and continue payouts. Payouts are, and always have been my number one priority, and will always take precedence over everything else.
Re: Important message from Stormpay. Most of you who use Stormpay will by now have received an “explanation” from Stormpay as to why the accounts of dadndaves and a number of other Autosurf programs have been suspended. It is extremely unfortunate that a company of the size and standing of Stormpay resorts to lies to justify it’s actions. dadndaves has never been contacted by Stormpay, and has never been asked to provide any information as to the legality of our program. I understand that this is also the case with other programs. I also understand that they may have had some discussions with 12dailypro, but 12dailypro does not speak on behalf of the industry as a whole. Personally I also believe 12dailypro had every right to refuse to provide Stormpay with the information required, but that is another matter. I have voluntarily provided Stormpay with some explanations to support my claim that dadndaves is not a ponzi scheme, is not a commission based business, and is not a MLM program, but as I expected they have not responded.
To claim that their investigations have deduced that these merchants were already at an “upside down” point is another lie. They have done no investigations into dadndaves, and if they had, they would have discovered, that despite freezing hundreds of thousands of your dollars, dadndaves has sufficient funds in other places to continue operations as normal. I would suggest that the FTC would be better advised to caution consumers about the risks of dealing with Stormpay.
How does this affect you? Currently this situation should not affect dadndaves members too much at all. Payouts are continuing as normal. dadndaves has offered members the opportunity to cash out to a different processor until this matter is resolved. I believe we are the only program to make this offer. In the now unlikely event that we should run short of funds in the other 2 processors, there are ample funds available to transfer to these processors to complete payouts. I re-iterate, everybody who is entitled to it, will be paid.
Stormpay: The very latest. As most of you are aware by now, Stormpay has today suspended the accounts of many Autosurf programs. Despite the fact that dadndaves is not breaking any stormpay rules, we are the latest victim of this outrage. If you have requested a cashout to Stormpay, you will need to change your payout details and submit another request to a different processor. The options currently available are Paypal and e-gold. I will continue with payouts in the order they have been received, and as the funds are depleted in these alternate processors, will be adding further funds as required from my bank account. Everybody who is entitled to be paid for January earnings will be paid. I cannot elaborate any further until I get more details of exactly what is going on, but I can assure you payouts will continue. Please do not email me about this matter. I will share any information I have with you all as it comes to hand.
More News…….please read
Stormpay. As stated on the front page, dadndaves is not a “commission based business model” and as such is not restricted by the policy changes that have occurred at Stormpay. I do not agree with the decision Stormpay have taken, but I certainly agree with their reasons for it. Many of you will have already noticed reversals of your referral commission due to chargebacks and fraudulent transactions. Over the next month or so these criminals will be weeded out, and will no longer be able to avail themselves of the services of dadndaves. Until that time, some of you may notice that your payment amount is less than your cashout request, and you may have to wait a little longer to be paid your referral commissions. Some members will also be asked to wait 60 days before they are eligible for payment. (If you fit into that category you will be contacted by email) Previously I have dealt with these matters on a case by case basis, but the prevalence of it in the last 3 weeks has forced me to take stronger action. This policy will only affect a small minority of members, as the vast majority of you are honest members, and we cannot allow the actions of a few to undermine the success of dadndaves. I would estimate that by the end of February, it will no longer be necessary to implement these steps.
Paypal. The above paragraph also relates to some Paypal transactions. The other problem I have with Paypal at the moment is the vast number of e-cheques I am receiving. These create a logistical nightmare, and I would prefer that members do not use this facility. For those of you who are unfamiliar with e-cheques, if you make an upgrade from your bank balance, the payment is forwarded to me as an e-cheque and there is a waiting time of about 4-5 days before the funds are cleared. I receive a notice from Paypal when the “pending” e-cheque has been sent and the upgrade is automatically added to your account. I then receive another notice from Paypal when the e-cheque has cleared and the upgrade is automatically added to your account again. This means I have to manually reverse one of these transactions, and any referral commission associated with it. As you can see this creates a lot of unnecessary work, so I would ask you to please use your paypal balance or credit card for upgrades.
E-gold. None of the above applies to e-gold transactions.
