AlienTrust – EMO freezing accounts? Any Proofs?
Tags: No Tags.I personally have been a happy EMO user, but this statement from latest blog post from NSM is hounding me. The blog post is here.
EMO has been nothing but un-cooperative in getting our account verified, has shown NO customer support and frankly they scare me. They are currently in the process of freezing AS accounts and account holders right now, so it’s safe to say at this point we won’t be doing busines with them as well.
Let’s hope it’s utterly bullshit that Vince is mentioning about this. Gonna black marking AlienTrust as of now if they do not have proof of what’s going on. Big statement here.

They said that they were going to zero the accounts after they swapped to the new system. They claim that everyone will be paid out when they get back on their feet. Who knows…
As for the EMO situation, if you ask me, EMO will be the next StormPay. I am staying away from all of the alternative currencies!!! E-Gold for me, all the way. They have shown what they are made of. I really get the idea that there is something behind what happened at SP.
In my E-Book I theorize that they might be trying to achieve legitimacy, perhaps go after the PayPal level of business (I don’t think it will happen.) I also believe that it is possible that there was some outside pressure put on them. Think about it. YOu have John R. McConnell Jr, who has been found to be running a ponzi in the past… can you find a better person to lean on if you are trying to shut down auto-surfing in the United States. E-Gold have stood up to them, but the smaller companies like StormPay and Emo are not so cleverly set up. They are offering dollar for dollar, E-Gold are gold for dollar. It would be much harder to freeze E-Gold accounts, because they do not rely on currency to guarantee their E-Gold, they have metal. That means the only people who can freeze E-Gold are the people who run E-Gold. Just my 2 Cents, but it seems to me better than relying on the good nature of some shady business men, who will be shut down as soon as things turn sour.
