Got this from News-Navigator and I think everyone should be informed as well just in case any programs blames E-gold for this reason that they cannot send funds to you.
It seems that e-gold is targeting this industry with a new blocked account feature in the back office. Please read the below notification slowly and tell everyone you know.
e-gold have put into place a blocked account selection in everyone’s back office. If e-gold wants to target a program that they feel (or the authorities feel) is a ponzi they can block the spend from that program to everyone with an e-gold account. You must do and tell your membership and friends to do the following:
– Log into e-gold and then click on account and account info/control panel.
– Change radio button under spends from blocked accounts to the status of Accept.
– Then enter the turing number shown in the field provided and press update control panel settings. The survival of these programs in the future may be dependent upon the admins telling their members to do this and also you need to network with those above you and below you in your organizations to get the changes in the back office of their e-gold accounts taken care of.
I have already changed the configuration of my e-gold account to ACCEPT Blocked Accounts, and I am passing this info on to you to suggest that you do the same.

I have heard at least a couple of stories about people who have changed the option from “refuse” to “accept.” When they do receive a payment from a blocked account, they too get their OWN account blocked by e-gold!!
Dave from Dadndaves said he sent one of his members a payment to e-gold and the member got his account blocked.
I switched my option back to “refuse.” Better to not receive a payment than to have your whole account blocked.
I would think what would happen if you’ve chosen the “refuse” option and someone with a blocked account tries to send a payment to you is that the payment would just bounce back to them and they could then figure out another way to pay you. I certainly don’t know. I’m just assuming.
Thank you for the warning! It seems certainly important to warn the rest of the people around about this. I’m switching the option to “Off” as well after what you have shared with us.
It’s weird though, why the option anyway?
hello every body..
Someone told me if a egold user play hyip there will be some sort of audit and the account will be blocked?
is that true?
and or the account got blocked only receiving money from the blocked account?
thankx
I think it’s all speculation. Though one of my readers reported of such case, there were no concrete evidences as well.
So don’t worry
Rog from HYIPDiscussion clarified and even bread who emailed E-gold to clarify the matter.
No problem with accepting funds from any blocked accounts.
