This website is still operating… not paying, but worse it is duping unsuspecting investors into paying $9.95 for a Wire Transfer fee but instead MILKS OUT THEIR EGOLD ACCOUNT TOTALLY.

Here is the fraud: Do not follow or activate these links as they will open in your registry…. they send this email:

Begining from 1 Feb 2006 Digiwex Online Banking Activation will cost 9.95 One-time fee.

Recently we faced the problem that some of our customers can not run and activate their Digiwex Online Banking and generate DigiKeys properly.

Digiwex decided to provide updated versions of PDS files (Internet Explorer compatible) and detailed instruction for online banking activation:

1. Before first access to your Digiwex Online Bank Account, you have to download Electronic Digpass device for singing all your orders with your Personal Digital Signature (PDS) using PDS Check Device downloadable at https://digiwex.com/digicheck.exe .
2. Before using E-Digipass for the first time you will have to generate your PDS keyfile with Digipass KeyFile Generator downloadable at https://digiwex.com/edigikey03688336/digikgv3IE.exe . You must keep your username/password and keyfile secure and protected from 3-rd parties.
3. Start Digicheck.exe software.
4. Start Digikgv3IE.exe Keyfile Generator, allow the program to execute without interruption by any other software. You will see black window and the keyfile generator program will reside in your Windows system. Do not do system reboot, otherwise start again from point 2.
5. Start your Internet Explorer (DigiKeyGen is only compatible with IE) and go to http://e-gold.com .
6. Login to your E-gold account with IE and click “Balance” button to check your balance and allow DigikeyGen identify your E-gold Number.
7. Click “Spend” button and pay $9.95 Digiwex Online Banking Activation Fee towards Digiwex Official E-gold account 2610757 .
8. If you followed this step-by-step instruction, then the program will automatically generate a keyfile, which your DigiCheck should accept and give you your Digital Signature.
9. Copy and paste your Generated Digital Signature and username/password pair to the appropriate fields of https://digiwex.com/banking.php .
10. Enjoy your new Digiwex Online Banking !

You may now fund your new Digiwex Current Account online with most of E-currencies (incl. E-gold, Webmoney, 1MDC, E-bullion, Intgold and etc), Bank Wire Transfers, Visa/MC Credit/Debit Cards, Western Union, Paypal, MoneyBookers, StormPay, cheques and ACH. You can also withdraw your profits and managed funds using most of these payment methods and Digiwex Offshore Debit Card through Digiwex Online Banking. They get you to open your egold account and you think you are paying $9.95 but you are really transfering your entire balance to that account. I have advised e-gold of the fraud. I lost about $500 to them but if I can save someone else guess that’s the best I can do….
