Not sure if y’all have heard about this opportunity, but I thought I’d relay this one to the NOBS community. It’s called Guardian International Travel (or G.I.T.). A friend of mine introduced me to it and I’ve been involved in it for about a month.
This isn’t an autosurf or an HYIP. G.I.T. is a unique program that currently offers a couple of different programs that give you the opportunity to obtain valuable discounts, AS WELL AS MAKE MONEY. Hey, that’s what we’re here for, right?
Their 2 main products are Condo Cards and Gitzee Cards. I just purchased a condo card to get started. Basically, without getting bogged down with too many details, the card will give me discounts toward condo rentals of 3 times the price that I paid for the card. For example, if I purchased a $200 condo card, it would provide me with a discount value of $600 toward condo rentals around the world. That’s the simplistic way of explaining it.
HOWEVER, the main reason I bought the card is that it also qualifies you to receive 5 times the value of the card over the next 22 months. That’s right, 500%! You get “complimentary checks” each month for 22 months. I think the break even point is at 9 months. Not too shabby. And, yes, you get BOTH the condo rental discounts and the “complimentary checks” with each condo card purchase. Condo cards come in values of $200, $300, $400, $500, or $1,000. You may purchase the card or cards of your choice up to $25,000 at anytime.
They also offer a Gitzee card. The Gitzee card costs a one-time payment of $189.95 and a subscription fee of $18.95 monthly. For that, you get discounts on many things, including airfare, entertainment, food & dining, hotel/motel, movies, services, automotive, shopping, etc. You can purchase either condo cards, Gitzee cards, or both. I’m holding off on the Gitzee card for now, just so I can see how the condo card pans out first.
Like I said earlier, if you’re good at getting referrals, G.I.T. offers some nice referral incentives for both condo cards and Gitzee cards. Each product has a different referral layout. You can get more info on that on the site.
Now, just like you, I was a little skeptical of how G.I.T. makes enough to provide all these perks. I emailed them asking them how they make their money and they said:

What I can tell you is that we have several different things happening at any one time….to include investments, forex and other business ventures…
Plus some of the products that we have such as the GITZee Card sales….
Well, I was happy that they at least provided some info on how they make their money. You can come to your own conclusion. I do know that they are located in Georgia and I’m glad to know that they actually have an office and just aren’t running a website out of someone’s apartment. They just had a convention down there about a month ago. My friend went down there and was very impressed with their leaders. They have another convention coming up in October that will take place on a cruise to Cozumel. Doubt I’ll make it there, but it sure sounds nice.
Please note that I’m not going into this with my eyes shut. Like anything, there are no guarantees and we’ll see what happens with this. I’m not telling you to jump into this opportunity. Heck, I haven’t received my first “complimentary check” from my condo card purchase yet. If things go according to plan, I should receive it within the next couple of weeks. I’ll keep everyone posted.
Like I said, I’m still pretty new to G.I.T., but I’ll be updating more as I get further into this. They sell Iraq Dinars as well? Everyone seems to be on it these days.
Yeah, they do. Don’t know too much about the Dinar. I’ve heard of it being sold in a couple different places though.

I’ve been in GIT for a few months now. In the past month or so they have made some decisions that I view as red flags. However, they also have some offline things going that may pull them through. For anyone new to GIT, I would suggest holding off until they are smooth sailing again.
Gman may be willing to offer you more insight and/or a different opinion.

I feel about the same, Sharon. Let me first say that GIT has never been late on a payment for me. They have done everything that they said they’d do. I give them props for that.
On the other hand, they have changed their terms, in order to make sure that they can make the payouts. Granted, I’d rather they make changes to insure that the payments are made, but as we all know when a company makes a change in its terms, trouble could lie ahead. That’s not to say it will (hopefully it won’t), but you never know.
For now, I’m just going to sit back with my current condo card purchases and see how smooth things go for the next 6 months. Let’s keep our fingers crossed.

I haven’t had any problems with GIT so far (knock on wood). I’ve received all my checks on time, so hopefully things will keep on rolling.
My dad bough be a GIT condo card a long time ago and I’ve been getting checks ever sinice. I’m now in the “bi weekly” period and they keep coming. I was thinking about buying some more. How did the payout stuff change recently?

Hi Todd. Basically, the new terms work out like this:
For existing Charter members (those who signed up before 8/1), you are now eligible to receive 3 times the purchase price of the condo card over the course of 29 months.
New Charter Members enrolling with GIT after August 1, 2006 will by default receive the three (3) times their purchase in Complimentary Checks paid over twenty-nine (29) months, unless they opt to purchase a GIT Zee Card at the time of their initial Condo Card order. If they purchase both cards at the same time, they will be upgraded to the five (5) times the purchase price in Complimentary Checks over a twenty-nine month period.
(All condo cards purchased before 8/1 will still receive 5 times the purchase price of their condo cards over the course of 22 months.)
The new referral commission terms have been changed as well. You now have 2 options:
Option 1: You can choose to have your 75% Referral Commission paid to you over a 29 month period, a monthly average of 2.5862%.
Option 2: You can choose to have a one-time 35% Referral Commission paid to you within 45 days of purchase.
You will receive an email notice of the purchase by your referred member, and be given 48 hours to make your choice of Referral Commission payment. If no choice is made, the system will default to Option 1.

Today I tried to log into GIT to my back office and notice that I received a “Service Unavailable” message immediately. Do you know if GIT is having server problems or it there something that we as Charter members need to be aware or concerned about? I have been buying Condo cards now for about 4 months and now I’m trying to make another purchase but cannot get connected to the site. Thanks.

Have you heard about all the NEW changes to this program? Does anyone have an opinion about them? I am very unhappy about the way their other program is being forced on people. I chose to NOT be a member of Z Power Pac. Now it seems they do not care whether you want to join or not. The processing fee has been jacked up from 25 to 150 to force new members to join ZPP against their will. I value my freedom of choice and do not appreciate GIT taking away my free will. I feel as if I must promote ZPP when speaking to people about GIT even though I do not like ZPP. Do anyone else have a problem with these changes????
Have been with GIT since Aug. 2006. This is the best business I’ve been involved in. Have received a check once per month. I’m now earning over $15,000/mth. Looking to retire from my $100,000/yr. job because of GIT. Went to there convention March 17 in Louisville, first class all the way.Met all their top management personnel and have gotten my entire family involved.

They are scamming thousands of people including myself with this big BS Condo card, They simply don’t pay ,I haven’t gotten a comission check for almost 6 months now and counting, When you call and get lucky to talk to someone all you hear is that they had problems processing the checks but they will be out ths week , been hearing this since December,2006. EXCUSES and LIES thats all they give you for your money, they’re always trying to come up with new ways to get your money and get you to recruit more suckers to finance their offline ventures, Is GIT doing well? Absolutly! wouldn’t you be if you were raking in millions deceiving people. For all you GIT cheerleaders
just trying to keep things quite till you get your buck back, GET real, I,ve heard them all , Show me real proof of your monthly ontime commission checks. I’m waiting till the end of May to receive a check ,I guess 7 months of patients is more than enough. Then I will take action against GIT. No more excuses ,if GIT can’t keep their commitments they ought to be out of business.

Luiz is absolutely right, stop living in the clouds and face reality. GIT is a scam, and even if it’s not a pyramid scheme, they have obviously lost out on investments and cannot afford to pay. Get out if you can.
Please include me on future posts. I joined in Sep 2006. Received 2 checks thus far, one in Nov 06 and one in Dec 06. The Jan and Feb checks have been held up due to system errors that never seem to be fixed. Like Luiz states above, the checks have stopped.
I wouldn’t write GIT off quite yet. While they have had umpteen problems this year, they are still trying to work them out. January checks have been mailed. I saw where several got theirs last week. I got mine yesterday.
On the other hand, it is never a good idea to join or add funds to a program while it is having problems. Wait until everything is running smoothly or they fold. It just doesn’t make sense to risk your money when there are problems.
GIT has requested numerous times that we not discuss them in public. This article is a year old. As long as they are plugging along, there will be no more articles about GIT. Please refrain from further comments.

Why do they not want us to talk in public? If they have nothing to hide then why feel threatened by public talk between members. I believe it is called freedom of speech. And you are correct Sharon, they have not folded YET. It is coming however and I have that from a great source at the corporate office.

I wanted to let everyone know that Sharon is right. I would listen to her because I got my January check in the mail yesterday as well.
Well, the January check was in the mail yesterday, so I guess Sharon was correct. Maybe I rang in too soon. I also agree with “Concerned” to continue to voice comments, as I thought that was the purpose of this forum.
Hello all, I just wanted to chime in and set the record straight because I hate seeing a good company get called a “scam” when it clearly is NOT.
I’ve been with GIT since the very beginning (joined in March of 2005) and these guys have always done what they said they would do.
I’ve been out to the home office twice and have spoken to the CEO, Hawke numerous times. I’ve ALWAYS been paid since day one, even if the last few checks were delayed.
There are many people that have no clue what the company REALLY had to go through when the 3rd party software company they use to run the commission checks messed up the check amounts and over 60,000 checks had to be audited, one at a time. It would have cost the company millions of dollars in over-payments had they not done this.
Every company at some point will have growing pains and GIT hasn’t been immune to this, but they’re honorable and tackle challenges head on when they encounter them.
And by the way, they don’t want people posting any details about the program on public websites like Sharon said because there have been idiots in the past that have misrepresented the program as an “investment” type program, which it clearly is NOT.
From what I’ve seen so far over the last 27 months, the company (and it’s parent company and several other businesses attached to it) will be around for a very long time and will continue to pay its members.
And to anyone that calls GIT a scam… when you have no facts to back up your claims, you’re simply stating an OPINION.
Have you spoken to the CEO? Have you been out to the home office to meet with him in person? Anyone that has will tell you that this is a fine company to be a member of.

GIT is not paying - They are 5 months behind and should be written off. The chearleaders here just want to get more money out - so what they are doing is OK? stealing from other members??? I don’t think so!!!
Quit promoting or even defending something that is not paying. This is clearly not why I got involved. 2 payments for the whole year!!! I could have a better return with my bank. This is no where close to what they promised in return.

Sure would like to know if people are still receiving checks. I’ve been a charter member since 05, checks have stopped coming in 07. Last one I received was January’s..
I joined GIT since February 07 and have not received ONE check! They keep giving excuses on their system and audits and keep making unrealistic promises that the checks will be out next week (we’ve been hearing this since June!). Don’t fall for them.
I have not recieved one check from this scum of the earth company its been a whole year now and steal nothing!I put a good amount of money into this company and it sickens me that this evil man thinks he can get away with stealing peoples money….. GIT not a SCAM, why not? Been in since March 2006, thought the Company was a Godsend when my wife realized that she could not longer work her $60,000 plus job, and we would be going down to one income. Sunk over half our savings into this company and even through repeated askings, get the same answer….the next couple of weeks will be better. How about the news flash post on Nov 20th where an update email and conference call would be done by the 30th at the lastest. Here it is..Nov 30th and nothing, not a peep. I also know that GIT is finally being investigated by the Kentucky Attorney Generals office. And when you contact anyone with Elizabethtown’s Chamber, they all have NO COMMENT, or don’t know Swainson Hawke. I personally know people who have or soon will be filing bankruptcy because of the GIT lack of fulfillment on their promises.
If they don’t want people to talk about their company in public maybe they should start making their promises more of a reality rather than hot air.
Rumor has it that Hawke really isn’t Swainson Hawke, that his name is something totally different. Also heard that he has recently made a butt load of money using GIT funds and other investor’s funds and is now possibly shipping his profits/proceeds to off shore accounts. If you haven’t done so already please contact the Kentucky Attorney Generals Office and file a complain against GIT.

Word from the KY Attorney Generals office, please forward all complaints to the Louisville Field office ASAP. They too have heard that he may be leaving the country. They also know that he may be using Hawke as a fake name. Please document everything you know about GIT, Hawke etc when you are filling your complaints. Lets nail this arrogant non-human to the wall

Heck….not sure if anyone noticed but they have disabled the GIT original site, thus the original charter members can no longer access their back office.
If you haven’t done so, please get your compliant into the KY Attorney General’s office immediately. A lot of new information has been discovered by other members, but don’t let those members be the only ones sending in complaints. A few voices can be ignored. The voices of thousands won’t be ignored.
Lets nail, Hawke, Elliot James, Steve Merritt and anyone else that is part of GIT’s management/ownership.

Go to talkgold.com/forum and you can see exactly how to word your claim along with addresses to send it off to the KY ag office, this forum will also give you the names of other companies that Hawke has, in your complaint, you can file a lean against all his holdings along with ALL the officers of GIT
In addition to the KY attorney general, make a complaint to your state ag office.
Lets get this a class action going on this company and all the other scams Hawke is running.

While it is commendable people are finally going to the Kentucky Attorney General’s office to file a claim, it should be noted that these people filing these claims are not admitting GIT is a scam, but rather that GIT failed to deliver its promises and falsely led people on. There is a distinction……I’ll let you figure out what it is………

I am a member of GIT….and so far ive been with them for over a year…almost the length of the program to have recieved my 3 times my money back and i have not recieved anything….so far as it looks it is a scam but somehow they remain in business….i dont understand it. But just a waring to those out there dont sign up….just a waste of money and time.
