    I received this email today from the former Australian StudioPay Manager, Kim Pukallus.

    He has resigned with others and the Australian, Spanish, US and Canadian StudioPay offices have closed. Kim’s reasons for leaving are upstairs management and no money.

    John Horan has posted his comments on the ST forum, a copy is pasted below also.

    My intention here is to let you all know, clearly and truthfully, of my resignation (and reason for resignation) from StudioTraffic, StudioPay and associated programs. I want it known the actual reason for my resignation so there is no cause for speculation.

    I am not here to bash or otherwise harm Studio and it’s programs. That is never going to be something I’ll do so you certainly won’t ever see me on the likes of TalkGold or similar … LOL.

    I hereby tender my resignation with the deepest of hearts. Up until recently I had hoped that my time with Studio would be longer however this is not to be. No-one has asked or requested I leave. It was my decision.

    My decision is not due to recent changes, percentages, or the like. Studio have stated in their Terms of Service that percentages that are earned by their members are subject to change, due to the advertising business’ fluctuation. I tend to agree as this makes sense. Make no mistake about this - you all have my yahoo IM so if you want to ask me anything else you can buzz me. You will however NOT get anything but my personal view, it is important never to base your view purely on anyone else’s words or actions.

    My reasons for resigning are simply due to continuous lack of communication and lack of general trust and respect from the management level, with regards to decisions made and not communicated or communicated after the fact, to the non-management staff.

    I do not say this with malice by any means so please do not read it that way. I refer to respect and trust here to mean that non-management level staff were not asked to discuss or suggest or in any way be a part in any of the major (or minor) decisions that have been made. All staff, including management have always, without exception, been polite and friendly, even if a little unavailable.

    As many of you know, very recently I have started operating the StudioPay Australia office. Formerly I was a Mod, assisted in the GAC campaign and helped on the EHD. I must say that the communication, or lack thereof does not refer to the managers of those departments - ever! I have a very good rapport with KJ, Mihaela, Jason, Lorraine, Renata and Jenn and associated staff in each department.

    The issue of communication has started way back with GAC for me. It became evident to me that staff who were not management were not included in the discussions and plans for future actions. I bit my tongue, however was disappointed, figured it wouldn’t always be like this and continued.

    Changes were made along the way, naturally they needed to be, however these were also not discussed with staff and staff were not given the trust and respect of management by way of being asked to input their thoughts/ideas/suggestions or advised in detail before the members were advised of the aforementioned change.

    Next was StudioPay Australia. Before setting up the business in any real way I have asked many a time via email, IM on Yahoo and phone calls, for full details, a business agreement/contract, a discussion about how everything works and how the main office views my participation and how I view it, future plans, business structure etc. All important facets when setting up a business that would be MY responsibility, as each local office is setup as a business owned by the local manager. Due to my obvious legal and privacy responsibility here, this is a reasonable enough request. I had very large plans for expanding and growing the Australian business - in fact, I was passionate about it. We even had the FIRST country Advertising team.
    I viewed our StudioPay Australia office as not just an Agent for StudioPay transactions, but more of a vehicle to help grow our advertising business in a major way. To this day, my requests for information go unresponded to. Decisions are made and were handed me to action - this did not include discussion or requests.

    Since I started as staff, in July 2005 or thereabouts, I have done so on a purely volunteer basis. At one stage, it was suggested to me that I should go on payroll and I was approved for payroll however never put in a timesheet so never got paid. This was MY decision as I supported the words that John had for us - to grow this TOGETHER.

    However, as this is not MY business, I concede that the management must do as THEY see fit for their members. I however do not wish to play a further part in this as I do not believe in this style of management. I have an ST member account of a little over $12,000 USD that I will surrender as I have just reached the in profit status.

    I thankyou ALL for your kindness throughout my time here. I have met a lot of you (online of course) and have never, ever had an issue of a personal nature with anyone here. That alone is cause for me to thankyou.

    To John, Lorraine, Renata and Jenn in particular - this reason does not reflect personally on any of you. Please do understand that. It is a business decision I make and on the whole it is your decision how your company is run.

    For any inconvenience or problems this may cause, I apologise profusely. This is not my wish at all. If I can ever do anything to assist any of you on a personal level in future, I would be proud to do so. You need only to IM me on yahoo or email me at kimpukallus@yahoo.com. I shall understand of course when you are asked to take me off your yahoo lists.

    Remember always that you must look with clear eyes and trust your own judgement first.

    Top management quitting
    Hello,

    I received this news few hours back. Our top management has resigned. This means that offices in US, Canada and Spain will be closed.

    With this shocking news and with recent problems with stormpay, I am sad to inform some changes which will affect members.

    Members, who are in profit, please stop surfing as we can no longer afford it. We hope you will understand that we have done our best and this is something similar to natural disaster which is beyond our control. If you have funds in studiopay or in your studiotraffic account, please take note that in our TOS, we have never guaranteed payout. Your payout is determined based on our advertising revenue. Less advertiser revenue means that we need less people surfing. You can, however, still use your account for advertising purposes.

    I am sure there are people who lost money with stormpay. We are victims too. Stormpay is still taking money from us everyday, we are not sure when they will stop and have expected that we lost our reserves (hundreds of thousands) we have with stormpay.

    All is not lost as we can still depend on local funding from our offices worldwide. However, with top management resigning and offices closing down, we will lose almost 90% of funding.

    Members who are not in profit, please send email to notinprofit@studiotraffic.com. What we will do is that in the coming months, we will seek venture capital and raise funds. Once we raised these funds, we will send it to you. Do take note that we are not obligated to do refunds or to send you back what you sent in. When you upgrade, you are getting accesses set with different account level so you can advertise your products or services better. When you upgrade, we have a refund policy where we will return you what you sent in, in the first 7 days. After the initial cooling period of 7 days, we are not obligated to do any refund as it is assumed that you accepted what you received.

    We are doing this because we want nobody to lose any money with us. Please give us a reasonable time to do this as we need time to get it arranged. You can, however, still continue to use your account for advertising purposes which you have paid for. There is no need for you to continue surfing. All of you will automatically receive shares to all studio programs. If we cannot manage to raise venture funds, we will sell your shares in all studio programs and pay you back so it is the same.

    We will close down studiopay website for a couple of months because with Studiopay staff resigning, we do not have enough manpower to handle it. We will do a complete restructuring with a new management team in it. Once ready, we will bring studiopay to public.

    I hope all members will understand that we have done our best and what happened is something beyond our control. All studio programs will continue to run. We will continue to allow signups to basic accounts. Most of our current advertisers have mentioned that they do not need high level account holders to surf. As long as we can get a lot of people to see their ads, they are willing to continue to advertise with us. Our expenditure will be reset to the lowest because we will be getting only basic accounts members to surf.

    After this, we will, most likely, have less than 15 staff working on this. Due to shortage of manpower, we can only attend to non profit members for the time being. Please send to notinprofit@studiotraffic.com.

    As for other members, once we get everything back, we will continue to get you back to surf. Please give us some time to work things out. Please do not send emails because we do not have enough manpower to handle it.

    Members please do not worry. As long as we start afresh, we are confident to turn things around and it will be better than before. Many of our staff has indicated that they would like to continue to help out without any payout. If you like to help us further, please email to support@studiotraffic.com.

    I hope all members will understand that we are doing the best we can. We will continue to work hard and make sure no one loses money with us.

      Too bac I didn’t read this sooner. I not only didn’t get my wired transfer but have not lost my vital information. There should be a way to get these people investgated for taking people’s id and then some.
