    Mar 18th 2006

Maybe the topic sound too serious. I’ll take away the DD part just in case anyone flames me for this write up. Our goal here is to make money, and I would say hopefully for the long time to come. So to seek more transparent programs like NSFG, stumbled upon FX-Experts(FXE) thread on HYIP Discussion.

With rabbit from HYIPD verifying the details of Marcos Matos, and even logging in the trading account to take a peek on its history of trading, I was intrigued. Well the goal of making up a long term diversified portfolio with more transparent program like NSFG and FXIG (FF) is still there, I’d think I won’t miss the chance and added Marcos to my IM.

Marcos Simao Matos, administrator of FX-Experts, agreed to my request for Due Diligence materials and verification (almost close to Sensa’s I should say, and I’m proud of myself, though the time *shakes head* Hey at least Sensa is earning $250 for such verification!)

Name, Contact number and Address verified on Telelistas.net

Marcos Simao Matos appears on Telelistas.net. With his given address, full name and telephone number, it matches on Telelistas (It’s like yellowpages in Brazil, if you know what I mean)

    results on Telelista
    mosiac-ed for his privacy

Trading records at North Finance verified

Rabbit from HYIPD has previously went in to take a look, much with the disapproval of Marcos’s trader. I do understand as well why the trader wasn’t happy. After all it’s a breach of security, but hey, for the sake of us, we have to bow to rabbit :) So since he didn’t allow me to log-in (read on and be patient, don’t just shush away), he offered to take a current screenshot with the time and date on his desktop to verify. I declined to prevent foul play.

We decided to use Radmin, a remote administrative software so that he can allow me to check his records real-time on his browser. After trying for hours (with MS Netmeeting as well, and it isn’t easy. He was behind a Firewall and I’m behind 2 routers… well..), we got frustrated and he gave me the userid and password to his North Finance trading account (LOL, so the idea is to make him frustrated, HMM)

The trading records started from November 2005, not far away. As far as I understand, they have switched trading platform from Marketiva to North Finance, thus the lack of previous trade records. The track records look good and I’m quite sure their investors’ money is in there (not a small amount IMO).

Guess there won’t be another 3rd party entering FXE trading account again :P

    Passport ID verified

Marcos has requested me not to share this with anyone else and I gladly agreed. The point is for the verification. Full name and photo is shown clearly on the scanned passport ID that he emailed me.

Address verified again (with Utility Bill)

Initially he sent me a scanner bar photo with his full name and address (it looks like some courier envelop scan), not satisified, I asked for a full utility bill for verification. He sent me his phone utility bill, with his full name and address. Matches every single information previously given and on telelistas.

    Phone number verified (Physical)

Lastly, I called him to verify his number to see whether it’s real and not something like a voicemail or fax number (IDD cost, sigh, anyone want to reimburse me? lol). Marcos picked up the call and it was hilarious. The lucky fact that he do understand English and I can’t speak Portugese, I verified his identity and continued to chat with him on Yahoo IM.

Screenshots were taken, passport ID, and other evidence were verified, but to protect his privacy, I will not show, disclose and divulge any of the information provided to me. Marcos has registered with our blog with the ID Marcos FXE. He will update members of any happenings in FXE here as well as other major HYI forums.

My Thoughts (Usually It’s worth only 2 cents)

I have seen and checked his TOS, which isn’t really very investor friendly and asked him to make a revision of it, maybe with the likes of NSFG, which I believe is excellent. Took out some clause from NSFG TOS and ask him to modify FXE’s as well, he agreed.

With such an admin for a program, and with good records (at least for the last few months). The reasons are good enough to prove that FXE is no regular ponzi HYI. I’ll be placing it to my long term portfolio personally.

Marcos goal is to build a good reserve for FXE first on both the trading account and bank account which is a fair enough answer. From here, he might turn FXE private maybe till the end of the year. Uh no, you’re thinking, a normal getaway scheme with turning private yea? With further explanation, Marcos says it is really difficult to work with daily deposits (much like NSFG closing it’s pooled funds on the 25th of March) for trading. I concur.

From an investor’s point of view, I’d place FXE right in the same ranks of NSFG with almost the same transparency, and a responsive admin.

This is the first seal that I am giving a HYIP, and I hope FXE will be here for years to come. To our moolah! Cheers!

PS. If you decided to join FX-Experts after reading my report, do use my referral link and I will thank you personally. And to further thank you, you’ll get 50% back from the commission that I’ll get from FXE. And no, I’m not a referral whore, the ROI is fine from FXE alone, but just in case you have no uplines and want some extra moola for a refund as well. It works both ways. (Tsk, at least it covers the cost spent to call him, lol)

Remember, if you use my referral link, sign up with our mailing list as well for the cashback to facilitate efficient refunding.

there you are with a genuine and very good report.
Excellent, putting the logo on him.
and much better transparance teamaaronundsharon ever managed

Rest me saying I received an email from Marcos nov 24 stating this

      “”
Because it was from my personal account.
I will post trades from FX-Experts soon!
      Regards,
      Marcos Matos
      “”

I wondered at the time why he had stopped publishing his proof at /trades
at his site. He also has quite a reliable assistant, markus britto

So thanks for finishing this dd job
will you be doing more soon?

Nice review! Just a quick question. Why do you have Due Diligence crossed out in your title? That is what it look like in my firefox browser.

    3. Gravatar Icon 3 Linda

umm..did you read the first sentence?

    4. Gravatar Icon 4 Jude

      hypeter hello :)

I think it’s very tough for Marcos to keep up with the rest of the updates with him and his trader. It’s like one man show dealing with so many investors, you get the idea. He was telling me that the daily ROI might be changed to a weekly one to as it’s very difficult to trade with new funds everyday. A hard way to keep track, which I totally agree. The weekly ROI will work the same way, in parallel to the percentage given daily. Say 0.7+0.1+x+x+x = X% for the week. I think it’s better if Marcos tells us the changes himself if it comes.

And should there be any other programs that deserves investigation, definitely, I’ll post more of such reports.

TonyS, as Linda said, yea, the first line. I’m not sure and do I consider this as a DD, I think there are better DD reports and investigation around the arena, so it’s better to just name it as a Report. The cross-out is actually meant to be a parody. lol

      Very nice Jude!

You wrote: “The track records look good and I’m quite sure their investors’ money is in there (not a small amount IMO).”

I’m personally not too interested in knowing everything about the admin and trader’s personal background, I just want to know how well they are trading and for how long. The above quote does not really tell me much, did you see anything interesting? Anything you could conclude about leverage used, profits generated, losses incurred, percentage of total funds used for a trade, etc?

      Regards,

      HansG
      (who’s not convinced… but that’s why he’s called paranoid)

    8. Gravatar Icon 8 Jude

Hans, I’m not at home at the moment, but I’ve taken a little screenshot whilst I was IN it. The trading records at NF isn’t very long, only started from 05 November. There’s no trade records shown from their Marketiva account as before.

I’m idiot about leverages in forex, frankly speaking. The profit way exceeds the lost in the statements (I can tell from the plus and the minuses)

      There’s this from him

      http://www.fx-experts.com/media/images/nobsinterview.jpg

I’ll go home and check on the shot that I took again, and maybe tell you more. On the other hand, maybe you can post the questions to Marcos since he has an account here and I’m sure he’ll gladly answer your question.

PS. We’re in the same shoes :P

    9. Gravatar Icon 9 Fdates

      Hi Jude.

Remember me? I’m the guy that got ripped off by BlackGoldSurf.

I’ve been with FX Experts since beginning of February. With all the HYIPs that have burned me, it was nice to read that perhaps one of them may actually turn out okay.

What a tough business this is. Seems that most paid-to-surfs (like BlackGoldSurf) are trouble or just run away with your money, and HYIPs are no better. Hard to find good places to invest these days.

On the Forex note: The leverages in Forex are incredible. It’s a double-edge sword as it works both ways. So even a good HYIP like FX Experts need only make one major bad trade and it is all she wrote. I’ve been trading futures for 15 years and the Forex for over a year now. It’s great!!!

Thanks for your write up. :)

    10. Gravatar Icon 10 LeRoi

      Nice write up.

Hey Fdates, re “So even a good HYIP like FX Experts need only make one major bad trade and it is all she wrote.” …As I understand it, good Forex traders use stop loss and loss-prevention strategies. So hopefully such a bad event wouldn’t occur.

      Dear FX-Experts Members,

In our quest for better performance and security for our work and FX-Experts, we are announcing that from March 25th, 2006 we are going to make simple modification to the system of deposits:

From the date above and going forward, your deposits will be credited for the FOLLOWING trading WEEK, and no longer the following trading DAY, as it functions at the moment.

In summary you will start to earn profit on the first TRADING-DAY of the FOLLOWING Trading Week.

      For Example:

If you deposited funds on Sunday March 26th, 2006 your funds would not start to earn profits till Monday April 3rd, 2006.

If you deposited funds on Saturday April 1st, 2006 your funds would not start to earn profits till Monday April 3rd, 2006.

Deposits received on Saturdays (AT THE LATEST 11:59 PM EASTERN TIME), will start earning profits on that MONDAY (if it is a trading day).
      This does NOT affect compounding.

We thank you for your understanding,

      Marcos Matos

      Nice job Jude…..

Very good info finding and report. Maybe Sensatrust should hire you but the $250 probably won’t appeal to you.

FX-Experts is one of those rare diamonds and once they get SensaTrusted. You will bet more will flock to join the program.

Definately one of the few good long term progams to have in one’s list. After a year or 2, that intial investment can become quite a pile.

And on the subject of surfs, i think the only 2 viable ones apart from those that when private (and still paying) to be Phoenix or Wired. But i will wait another month just to be sure before i put my foot in again.

    13. Gravatar Icon 13 Ira Laufer

Noticed that FX-Experts never shows a loss. Is this because they make it up with part of the reserve?

    14. Gravatar Icon 14 Marcos Matos

Yes Ira, you are correcet. Thanks.

    15. Gravatar Icon 15 Perry

Are you not concerned that you can never withdraw your original investment.

I say never because the minimum amount that Marcos allows you to withdraw is $100,000 and very few would have that much tied up with one HYIP.

    16. Gravatar Icon 16 Jude

Perry, you can withdraw your original investment with a 10% withdrawal fee.

    17. Gravatar Icon 17 Perry

      Hi Jude,

If I click on the withdrawls tab in my account it says minimum $100,000

    18. Gravatar Icon 18 bill

cab someone give more info about this? i’d like to get in on fx-experts, but i aint about to commit $100,000…

    19. Gravatar Icon 19 sharonsopinion

      Hi Bill,

I’m not cab, but I’m “somone” that can give you a bit more info. First, this is one of the few HYIs that are looking more like they’re real, than ponzi, but one never knows for sure. The minium spend is $100. Profits are paid weekly. You decide before the end of the week how much of the profits you want to compound and how much you want paid direct to your egold. The principle can be withdrawn at any time with a 10% admin fee.

I honestly have no idea what Perry is referring to, but then again I’ve never tried to withdraw my principle. Assuming that Perry is correct, which I have no reason to believe he’s not, then the “$100,000″ is referring to the screen requesting a principle withdraw. In the TOS there is no mention of $100,000 for anything.

It’s JMO, but this one is good for the long haul. Good, steady, slow growth. I’m in for 100% compounding for quite a while.

      JMO - Sharon

    20. Gravatar Icon 20 hesham

do you think fxexperts are planning to go private on the long run coz i never seen a successful public program in my whole life?

    21. Gravatar Icon 21 Jude

hey hesham, he has plans to go private on the pooled account, until it reaches a stage. Now there’s nothing to be alarmed of, like what NSFG is doing. There might be plans to refund most of the people from FX-E as well after going private when everyone reaches a MA level ($25,000), so you can decide for yourself whether to get a MA or not.

Why do I know all these things? Because matos told me on the IM on his plans before, a question which will never slip out when I’m talking to admins.

    22. Gravatar Icon 22 DT

      Hi Jude,

I am considering your offer for FX-Experts.
FYI, I am a “baby” in HYIP and hope you can provide guidance and support on my maiden quest for financial independence.

Do you have an email or yahoo mssg ID where we can correspond more effectively?

Looking forward to hear from you soon.

      Cheers,
      DT

I’m idiot about leverages in forex, frankly speaking.
This line just scared the hell out of me. Anyone who is recommending an investment, but does not know the in’s and out’s of the system, should not EVER be taken seriously as a reliable investment.

So much for my interest in FX “Experts”

    27. Gravatar Icon 27 Jude

Which line just scared the hell out of you Douglas? Hermann has been doing pretty well with the current trades with his old strategy at this point.

    28. Gravatar Icon 28 Frazer

This sounds great Jude. I’m new here. Just found your blog from FX Experts web page.

If anyone is interested in doing their own forex trading, I found a system that is so easy and SAFE that its hard to believe. Don’t know your rules about posting web pages so I will not post it unless you say its OK

All this makes interesting reading. I’ve been putting this off for too long I have to try my hand at it.

Has anyone got anymore info the $100,000 withdrawal ? How about the profits, is one free to withdraw at anytime ?

      Nice to meet you all.
