Negotiating through hundreds of forums, blogs, and monitoring sites to get information is difficult and tedious at best. Who do you trust? Who is getting paid to post information, whether it is true or not? Just as it’s extremely difficult to tell if an autosurf, HYIP, MLM or even a payment processor is honest, it’s difficult to tell if sources of information are honest. How do you find honest, concrete information?
In my experience, I have found that most blogs, with a variety of information, are honest, but often have lots of words wrapped around the concrete information you’re looking for. Forums are even worse for finding information. Wading through hundreds of forum posts is tedious. Anyone can post whatever they want, and unless you know the person writing as honest, you don’t know which posts to trust. On the other hand, monitoring sites make it very easy to find concrete information, but are often paid by sites for better monitoring and are rife with scammers posting “I got paid!” votes.
There is a refreshing alternative, FairPatton, run by John McCallum. FairPatton is an autosurf monitoring site with a twist. John only rates sites based on his interaction with an autosurf’s administrator and that administrator’s ability to produce a viable business plan. John rates autosurf’s, provides news and answer’s anyone’s questions on his site. The question and answer page is my favorite section.
This is what John has to say about his assessments…
I assess sites on the following criteria, “The Honesty, Integrity of the Administrator and the Customer Service the Administrator delivers to his/her members”. Percentages paid by a program are never a consideration in the assessment I make about a program. If any Administrator feels he/she is harshly or unfairly treated by my assessment, you are most welcome to contact me.
An example of John’s review is on one of my favorite autosurf’s, ExtraCash-Flow. I already knew that ExtraCash-Flow’s administrator, Randy Riggs, is honest, communicative and business savvy. John confirmed that by putting ExtraCash-Flow on his best sites list with the following recommendation:
Administrator is Randy Riggs from the United States. Administrator has supplied details of his business activities. The explanations supplied are very encouraging. This site is therefore Highly Recommended.
You’re sure to find some of the best autosurfs and information at FairPatton, although you’re not likely to find all the newcomers to the autosurf industry. John sticks with the tried and true, rather than jumping on the latest big fad. While you’re there, click on John’s link for ExtraCash-Flow or any of the ExtraCash-Flow links in this article.

Ah, I’ve heard about FairPatton. But there are programs that John failed to spot as well, so there can never be a 100% that a program won’t fail (RCS is one).
Then again, kudos to him, still a great AS resource!
Excellent point, Jude! I should have added that no ONE resource should be used to pick the programs you join. FairPatton is an AS resource that is good to add to all autosurfer’s toolkit of resources.
Oh yes, it’ll be coming up in tips section on how to use our blog as well. Notice the top search bar on the right, you can use it and it’s fairly easy to use. Powered by ajax, it displays the searches quickly to the relevant term that you searched for.
