Like a lot of you, I don’t feel comfortable sending Alien Trust any of my sacred personal info (at least not any more than I already have). Therefore, I contacted support about getting a refund last night. They got back to me this morning and said that they are processing refunds, but by check. I don’t quite understand why they can’t just transfer it back into my E-gold account, but at least I can get my money out. So, I gave them my address and hopefully I’ll get it my rebate check soon.

I’ve gotten paid for my last “medium” upgrade in AlienTrust. I’ll see if any of my downlines want to continue before plugging it out. So they’re gonna pay you by cheque?

I joined Alientrust and was almost on the brink of putting money in (I had been somewhat strapped for a while) when they decided to go down the verification path. It occurred to me that there was no reason suddenly to do this unless Vince is under the SEC microscope and given that he was affected by the Stormpay fallout, I am assuming thats what happened. I deleted my account almost immediately. I was starting to find the manual surf a PITA anyway

Yup. Snail mail it is. We’ll see how long it takes until it’s in my hands.

vince is just trying to make the program as reliable as possible and setting a new standard for all the others. the government obviously wants a chunk of money if auto-surf turns out to be a legitimate investment. after all they are giving you free money and verifying definately wont hurt

I understand that and wish him luck. However, I don’t feel comfortable giving Vince or any other autosurf my tax info. Info like that in the wrong hands could definitely hurt me.

Maybe down the line, if they establish themselves as a legitimate investment that can be trusted, I’ll re-evaluate my position. I hope Alien Trust does become successful in their pursuit. But, for now, I’m gonna watch this one from the sidelines.

The way I see it is…You are considered a sub-contractor by definition and tax code. Vince will send you a 1099 at the end of the year and you pay tax on the earned income. The amount of the spend is considered an expense as well as being able to deduct a lot of things related to you performing the task of viewing the websites (WORKING). How about writing off the costs you pay a month for internet, phone, a portion of your electric bill, maybe a new Lap-top in case need to surf while on vacation!
Need Lasik Eye surgery?!?! Write it off, can’t view websites effectively with poor vision ;)

hey jonnie, welcome! lol about the Lasik Eye surgery. I’m still keeping an open eye on AT. Curious on the next big move that Vince is gonna take.
