Verification Update
4. April 2006 @ 17:50
Folks we have some unfortunate news.It seems that some ………….. well jerk to use a nicer word than I’d like to has sent a virus in one of the verification emails, which was not able to be handled by Norton and has forced us to wipe the drive of my Notebook where all the verification emails were stored.
I’m terribly sorry about this situation, but obviously we had no control over this situation. Apparantly it’s a new virus that Norton didn’t pick up, because we keep all the computers up to date on virus updates.
What this means is that for all those who sent in emails to the verification address is that you will need to now re-send your docs.
We’re going to ask that you fax them in or we’ve created a department in the Support Software specificaly for Verifications. You can attach your documents to a ticket and send them in that way.
Once again we sincerely apologize for this and hope this won’t be too big of an inconvenience for everyone.
Thanks.
Vince
Word in the Alien Trust forum is that it is taking hours to get through on the fax numbers. So, all of you sending in documentation, be prepared to be very patient!

What the? They had no control over the situation? Haven’t they heard of backups?
Hmmmm……..Vince’s last notification complained that too many documents were emailed and the email verification was taking too long and costing too much. Any connection to the email documents now being lost? I’ll let you decide for yourself.
Can’t blame Vince! He’s a man who’s capable of big changes! Even an infected PC too!
