ExtraCash-Flow Egold Stolen Just Like Alien Trust
Tags: No Tags. There appears to be the beginnings of a new rash of attacks. Earlier Jude reported that Alien Trust’s script was hacked and upgrades were sent to a non-Alien Trust egold account. The same thing has happened to ExtraCash-Flow.
WARNING: Every time you spend to any program, verify the egold number. If it is the first time you are purchasing, check that the number matches the one reported on the spend page. If it is a re-purchase, check that the egold number is the same as the last time you purchased. Report any changes to the administrator of the program first.
From ECF with their actual egold number changed to XXXXXXX:
This is a mass email going out to all users.
The system was hacked tonight and they redirected 2 upgrades from our egold site to another egold number and they stole over $400 worth of upgrades…
The NUMBER that was paid to is: 2871596
The correct number to pay is: XXXXXXX Extracash flow.
I have notified egold that this happened, But if you upgraded within the last 6 hrs, You will need to report this as well..
It is with great regret that I have to write and inform these members that their money is lost…
I can’t cover money that is sent to the wrong e-gold account. I will help you in any way with a report, But the money was stolen and I can’t afford to replace the money.
This is a blow that the person that has been trying to get me to bend to his “Blackmail” and give in, He hasn’t stolen just from the members, He has stole from me as well..
This site will continue, But it needs all Upgrading members to make sure the EGOLD number you pay is the same…
I did not change this number.. XXXXXXX
Any, I repeat, ANY upgrades made to any other number will be voided.
Regards,
Randy

I have the egold number that stole this money
First negative ratings, then DDoS, then spam, then complaints to payment processors and now scripts hacked to change the payment egold number. Let’s not forget the rash of phishing emails lately. PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL!

Woah. Oh this is what Brad means, but to be able to do that, the worst thing is that the hacker is allowed into the server to change the E-gold ID. Not good I say, insecure host.
If the crook has an Egold number that is known
to the victims, why should the crook not be traced
by egold, since that number will be in thier database.
Is this too simple.
Egold does have the crook’s account blocked. I checked it right before I published the article. I’m pretty sure that egold is trying to track down the crook(s), however egold doesn’t require verification to open up a new account, so it is unlikely that egold has the crook’s name, address, etc. They do have the crook’s IP address, but IP addresses are shared.
