StormPay Can’t Make Up Their Mind
Tags: No Tags.On April 4th, I posted an article about StormPay accepting requests for refunds, other than 12DailyPro requests. They didn’t answer me when I requested how the requests should be done, since it is past their 45 day refund request requirement. Yesterday StormPay got back to me to let me know that I still had to wait.

I certainly do appreciate your frustration over this situation. I really can’t answer the question about when you will receive a refund or the location of any money you are owed to the extent that we simply don’t know what funds will be available for reimbursement when the investigations wind down. We will contact you if/ when we are able to issue a refund. No further action is required on your part.
Let’s review…
Prior to February 1, 2006 – I funded money to StormPay, who moved the funds to a variety of programs.
February 2006 – StormPay froze more accounts than anybody can count. They denied all refund requests for the frozen accounts. Lots of autosurfs and a few HYIPs suffer in the fallout.
Early April – There are rumors in the forums that some are getting refunds.
April 4, 2006 – StormPay sent me a reply to a ticket, letting me know it was OK to request refunds, but failed to mention how to request a refund older than 45 days.
April 5-14, 2006 – Requests for instructions are ignored. Also, StormPay announced that they are no longer a payment processor. They are now an auction site.
April 15, 2006 – StormPay sent me a reply, letting me know that it was NOT OK to request refunds.
April 16, 2006 – StormPay repeated the above when I submitted a ticket about them saying is was OK.
Conclusion: If you ever receive any money back from the StormPay mess, consider it a gift and count yourself among the lucky!
Note: Normally I do not advocate chargebacks (requests for refunds), however since StormPay is so full of BS and this is a NoBS blog, request away!

And you bet our asses that we should do chargebacks to them! They haven’t fulfill properly as a payment processor at all with all the money they’ve gobbled up from 12DP fiasco. And alot of autosurfs’ as well.
Well I do believe that if you can do a Charge back against them, By all means do so…
Alot of my original upgraded members were from stormpay and then are continuing to do charge backs to each of their accounts like I’m the one doing it.
This is far from the truth and yet they keep this up.
I recently emailed them asking them if they were going to keep doing charge backs against my members and they said “They will do what they need to do to correct the issues at hand..”
I wonder what kind of issues are at hand other than them taking what doesn’t belong to them.
That is just my opinion.

StormPay cooperated with government officials as requested. The do not hold any funds from the 12dp scam. A receiver was appointed by the courts who is now in charge of those funds.
StormPay is currently processing payments for anyone with an account, not just for their auction.
