E-Spot has been a nice gold game that was paying 30-35% commission directly into your egold between 9 AM and 9 PM EST daily. Yesterday, members were dismayed that no payments were processed. Today, Jerry Nash, E-Spot administrator, made a couple of announcements in the E-Spot forum, which is a yahoo finance group.

First, he announced that there were no payments for 1.5 days because he and his staff had been working long hours with no rest. I can vouch that the end of the payments have been past midnight, going on 1 AM, for the past couple of days before their rest. OK, so far, the news is good.

Second, he announced that as of today, the terms are changing from daily payments to getting paid within 15-30 days. The returns are still excellent, but it’s not a good sign when a program changes payout terms. In addition, Jerry had cancelled referral commissions and now he is bringing them back. Although the announcement below says 3%, Jerry changed it to 5% in a subsequent announcement.

Here is a copy of the 2nd announcement:

To continue to secure the life of this program we must make a change in our payout schedule. On our time off we have come up with a safer plan so this lull period won’t happen again. Most members may not like it in the beginning but in the long run it will secure the life of this program.

The changes will also be reflected on the main website.

NEW PAY SCHEDULE!.. Very simply thought out so that NO FEES WILL EVER HAVE TO OCCUR AS USUAL! We want to keep this a feeless program.

Payouts will continue in the 5 day pay plan, but just not consequtively.

E-SPOT will continue to make the 5 payouts but to be paid within a 15 to not longer than a 30 day period. In total you will still get the same great returns offered, but only the pay period will change.

In doing this we will be able to bring back the referral program immediately and pay referrals Daily as done before but now commissioned at 3% of every spend unlimited. The end of May 16th will be completed tonight as promised!

THE NEW PLAN WILL START MAY 23rd GMT and will include spends already deposited from May 17th on! So tomorrow we will start making payouts on May 17th pay cycle day #3. At this pace everyone will benefit to a secure on going plan continuing to make totals of 175% in less than 30 days rather than a quick hit and miss.

The above was just an example but of course we will be doing more than one day at a time until we catch up!

175% in less than 30 days is still the best stable returns around.

We are sure that many of you are going to leave us and go put your money in fast paying programs like EGS, but that is your decision. Just know that we will always be here for you when others don’t pan out!

For those of you that already have active spends, May 16th final payment is in process and will be completed today. Spends from May 17th forward are impacted by the announcement. Although we all know that this is a gold game and that changing terms is not a good sign, I hope that Jerry pulls through at least a while longer. The growth on E-Spot has been phenomenal for a game. It will be interesting to see if the quick growth continues. With the new terms, lots of game chasers will move on to quicker payments. The risk for this one increased from very high to extremely high. Use caution if you decide to give it a go!

I agree. Anytime there is a change in terms, I tend to view it as a red flag.

I’m especially curious about the fact that they stopped referral commissions and now they’re bringing them back right after this new announcement about a change in the payout schedule. This kind of says to me that they couldn’t afford to pay the referral commissions so that’s why they originally stopped offering them. Now that they’ve brought them back (coupled with the new terms) it seems that they are really trying to get more money in the program. Maybe they need it because they’re low on cash for payouts.

Time will tell with this one (as with all the others). I’ll probably hold off on making any more deposits until I receive all my payments.

And ditto what Sharon said. Great job on the redesign Jude. The site looks great.
