A claim procedure for EMO has been established as of May 17, 2006. The court order for the claim procedure can be read here.

    To sum it up:

    1. Claims will be grouped into three categories:
      • Category A for those with claims less than or equal to $5,000.00 and those that request to be part of Category A. Category A claimants will not have to provide proof of identity and ownership.

Found this on MMG for TotalRune

First thing is do not worry about missed surf days…they will be credited.

What is going on is that they are in the process of bringing 3 servers online and getting them working together. Unfortunately, when the word got out that the server upgrade was happening, DDOS attacks stepped up tremendously, which has made things more difficult.

If you notice your WiredSurf Insta-Pay option is gone, you’re pretty right about it.

Posted on the front page at PhoenixSurf is the following note from Jonathan Mikula (the bold type is mine):

    Dear Phoenixsurf.com Members,

Over the next couple weeks, our site will be undergoing changes – some of them daily! We know communication is the key to our future success so check your homepage as well as the forum everyday for updates and progress reports.

Zoominvest came back online a couple of weeks ago. However, many members are having trouble. Jimmy Crane, the administrator, sent no communication about the new site. He expected members to learn that they had to transfer their accounts from the old site to the new site via osmosis. There was a little tiny message with a checkbox above the login. Many members, including myself, clicked on that checkbox only to find out IT DIDN’T WORK! So, not only did Jimmy not communicate, he re-opened with a failed script.

Some people are having trouble connecting to Compact Surf and logging in, etc. so here comes their friendly tech to explain to you how to fix the problem:

    “Dear Compactsurfing Members,

    GoldenTalk is back in business.

One of my favourite HYI forums, GoldenTalk is down at the moment, let’s wish that they come right back as soon as they can.

On a side note, our mailinglist is back and we’re currently in the midst of setting up a private blogmaster forum. Blogmasters please do email me and I’ll notify you of the new private forum that I’ve setup just exclusively for us.

The hits just keep on coming with E-spot. The site is down but Jerry posted a message regarding the status on his “forum.” It just adds to the fact that his plan was never thought through or maybe it was and the plan was to close shop after a week or so.

I looked into Ad Titans about a week ago, despite the fact that PhoenixSurf/NME was the first to announce them and then made them “site of the week.” There was quite a bit of speculation about Ad Titans being part of then NME family, even though NME denied it. Following the speculation, Edward Adams, At Titans administrator, wrote a long introduction about himself and Ad Titans in their forum. It was a really good introduction and you can read it here.

    Hmm, little turmoils at eDatasurf,

Sorry, we opened the site for 60 mins and put back to maintenance again. This is also just to find out the root of the problem. After opening suddenly site started going slow. So we just put back the site into maintenance mode again.

Alas, PhoenixSurf crumbles, without even having the chance to implement the debit card system, there’s a slight chance that members might be refunded in this case (and I certainly hope anyone who were affected can get their seed back)

    Dear Members,

We would like to bring you up to date on the current situation of Phoenixsurf.com.

eDatasurf has updates for the rest of its members via email:

    Dear Members,

I request members to please check the history page for the details for your credit for surfing missed on 21st or 22nd. We don’t add surfing credits. We only add cash balance. This won’t show visibly in member’s area. Only in HISTORY Page you can see this details. I received the same question in more than 30 e-mails I received. Everyone’s accounts are credited for the surfing missed on 21st and 22nd May. But please check only history page and not in members area.

The latest Wired dibs and dabs are promising, and after a little wrangling they fixed up an account error I had as well, which means I’m fully paid out the correct amount and my account is up to date:

“Our newest progress report is now available on our website and depicts just how much progress we have made as well as how we are planning to take our program to the next level.

I was just on the E-spot “forum” (which is just a Yahoo Group) and Jerry said that they are currently halting payouts. They say that they have listened to what people have said and are trying to come up with a better system. Jerry says that they need about 48 hours to meet and discuss their options and we should hear something more at that time.
