I joined Select-Surf a week ago, because it had the magic 12/12/12 combination which seems to generate the best return in any given month. They also say they are intending to have other sites operational and seemed to be taking the same kind of path as Compact Surf (But not Wired Surf because I do think they are in a league of their own) in that they are intending to have Select-Pay, Select-Card, Select-Earnings and Select-Hosting.
However no sooner had I joined than they began to change things. First, they reduced daily payouts to twice weekly (I don’t see this as a bad thing. I think they should reduce them further) and then they reduced the referral commission to 8% from 12% (this too, ought to be viewed as a positive thing).
What does concern me, however, is that the Admin, Martin, after having apparently received a number of negative emails, is intending to throw in the towel and hand the site over to someone else. This seems like it could be a red flag, I am just not sure. I would like to upgrade again (they pay FAST… I got my last within 3 hours) but I think its wise to hold off until Martin decides who he will pass it to, and, indeed, whether anyone will take up the challenge. So many Autosurfs just shut the doors, its easier. Hopefully Martin will find someone suitable before he decides on other drastic action.
Current recommendation? Join if you will, but maybe just wait a week to see what happens, before upgrading.

I’m not aware of this one. Am I correct that before you could request payouts daily, is that right? If so, every other autosurf that I’ve been involved in that started with daily payments soon went down shortly after a change in those payout terms.
I would agree that now is not the time to get involved in this one, especially with an admin itching to get out.

I haven’t been looking at Select-Surf, and I didnt know why either. But from the looks of it, thanks for the warning kyte
