I’m sure that you are aware that when you type, copy, paste and delete on your computer there is a trace. It is the primary reason that you’re warned not to store your passwords on your computer. But, did you know that you can shred your files so that there is no trace?
If you need to shred documents on your computer, use this free utility: http://sourceforge.net/projects/eraser/
It is secure, and overwrites data several times to erase it from your computer.
This information is courtesy of a poster on a thread about Roboform. By the way, if you aren’t using Roboform for your passwords and other sensitive data, why not?

Thanks for sharing. Roboform gets my utmost vote as one of the most useful tool to manage all my passwords in this arena. *Looks at the eraser*
I use sure delete (free download).. been using it for years to wipe all free space data. I don’t store important passwords on the pc like e-gold, banking info.
That should be the way RWY09ER, btw your nickname sounds like some robot codename, nice.
