Edward, Ad Titan updates via email,
Hello Everyone,
We’re coming up on the end of a great week. Even with the gold prices fluctuating wildly, we are still very much business as usual.
Important update! There have been a few reports of people’s accounts being compromised. In our support section we make every possible attempt at verifying who someone is before granting access to someone that claims to be the owner of an account. In an effort to preemptively head off people’s accounts getting hacked and having the hacker change their names and their email addresses; we have disabled the ability to modify any field in your member’s area with the sole exception being your password. Many people may complain, but this is how it is going to be for everyone’s protection. Once you submit your information to join AD Titans, the only way you will be able to modify that information will be by submitting a support ticket. I fully expect this to create a slighter larger influx of support tickets, but it is definitely worth the lack of headache due to hackers.
Exciting modification to your member’s area!!! Again, in a preemptive approach, we have added the ability for you to place your “pending” cashout on a “HOLD” status. What this means to you is that should your account for your payment processor get “hacked” or compromised, you now have the ability to ensure that no further payouts will be paid out to that account until you have straightened out the account with your processor. This will alleviate paying the hacker even more funds from payouts that would have normally been processed. IMPORTANT NOTE about this option! Once you click the option to place your “PENDING” payout on hold, YOU will NOT be able to DESELECT that option. The ONLY way it can be removed is by an admin through the use of the support system. We have set this level of security up as such so that once again… should your account (this time your AD Titans account) become compromised after your payment processor account is, the hacker will be unable to release funds out to the compromised processor account. The ONLY way that option will be removed will be by submitting proper identification via scanned documents or e-fax to us for verification. If the names on the documents do not match the names on the accounts, you will NOT be granted access back to your account. I hope that everyone was honest in the naming of their accounts.
I sincerely hope that everyone is as excited as we are with the recent security changes. Please know that we are always looking for ways to further improve the system and protect everyone’s interest. Be on the lookout for a new support system shortly. As a side note, we will post what the requirements for proper verification will be initially on the forum and then on the new support site once it is operational.
If you have not already, visit our forums and read through the security thread. There is some excellent information on what you can do on your end to further protect your accounts and finances. If you read nothing else, read through that thread. Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Thanks!
Edward
