Gary R. Barton, appointed receiver for EMO, stated that he doesn’t think there will be enough funds to go around. Why not? Did EMO steal the funds? NO! Is Gary R. Barton trying to steal your funds? YES!

Before you read any farther and think, “Oh, this is just another internet rumor”, go to www.EMOFundsRecovery.com. It has information that Gary R. Barton wouldn’t dare post on the EMO website. Included on EMO Funds Recovery are links to the expense reports that Gary R. Barton reported to the courts. They are outrageous! In addition, make sure you read the objection filed to the court. It is very enlightening.

If Gary R. Barton actually receives the $160,000 to $250,000 per month (yes, you read that right PER MONTH) he says is allegedly owed him and his partners in crime and he allows another $700,000+ in chargeback fraud to be upheld, there won’t be much of EMO left. Gary R. Barton and his cronies per hour rate of almost $600 is more than some make working 40 hours! At this rate, don’t count on pennies on the dollar; instead count on fractions of a penny to the dollar.

Anyone can file an objection to his outrageous fees and expenses. If you feel that Gary R. Barton is trying to rob you of your money, please file an objection. If you feel that you just need to vent to Gary R. Barton, his email address is located on EMO Recovery Funds.

Holy crap, give me the money, I’ll do better than Gary. He ought to be shot for charging such an outrageous amount.

Hope members are doing something about it to appeal about his fees.

Yes, there is something fishy going on. When I tried to look into my emo account it stated: “Login is not allowed for this account. This account has been identified as a fraud account or exchanger account and accordingly, your balance is listed at zero dollars”. I trusted emo and deposited 1k into my emo account. I wonder what they are trying to do. I am sending in all the proof that I have along with the claim form and will see what happens. I am outraged and feel ready to kill. EMO turned out to be a scam and now this. I had hoped to recover at least some of my funds. I will post further development here.

      HI Eva,

I don’t think that EMO was a scam. The US government (Texas Attorney General) is what ruined EMO.

If EMO actually had cashflow problems, we’ll never know. There were no complaints sent to the BBB and according to the EMO owners, there were no external complaints at all.

It is true that EMO hadn’t completed all the necessary licensing requirements. They should have investigated all requirements before ever opening their doors to customers. Hindsight doesn’t help the situation now.

Please keep us up to date on your recovery. We all hope that we can recover as much as possible. I, too, had just made a fresh deposit to EMO and had just received a payment into EMO. I am fortunate that when I login the amount matches what I have in my database as the balance.

A criminal in a suit. Four months and not one refund. Once the creditors get their share Gary Barton will steal the rest.

      JMO,

I believe that when 12 DP allowed members to use EMO, the large volume of cash flowing through them and 12 DP EMOs eyes got big with dollar signs and made a costly mistake by investing in 12 DP.

Shortly after that, 12 DP closed due to SP and then Texas Gov shut EMO down.

Purely speculation though because how do you account for millions of dollars lost? Where else could it have gone to?

So I guess I can kiss my $8 trapped in EMO goodbye!

      Mr. Bucks,

Where did you get the information that millions of dollars were lost? I’m just curious because the only things I’ve seen as far as dollars lost was a speculation by the Texas Attorney General before any audit was completed.

I haven’t seen any proof that EMO failed to do anything, except file for the state license. They had a federal license. IMO the Texas State Government didn’t allow EMO enough time to get a license once they notified them one was required. I think that they were scared because of ScamPay and acted too quickly.

However, all of the above is speculation based on what I’ve read. If you have other information, please share where it is located.

      Thanks,
      Sharon

      KW,

Yes I have the same problem. Only difference is I was fortunate to have a $0 balance.
