I’m not sure what kind of explanation what Edward from Ad Titans is trying to pull. I’ll pass on this, whatever explanation anyone can come with isn’t really important anymore.

    Hello Everyone,

The reason that I have been “absent” was that I was legally instructed not to reply or post anything until I was told to do so. My posting this is going against what I was told to do. I couldn’t stand by and see people wondering what the heck happened any longer. It’s been driving me nuts.

I will tell you folks that still insist we are PS one final time that NO, we are not PS or NME. Please stop asking that and get over it.

When I wrote the email about FT having started to lull, it was the absolute truth. That was the case only for that particular day unfortunately. After that email, apparently everyone (or a large percentage) panicked and started clicking FT left and right. AD Titans was never any where near the size of any of these other major surf sites out there, and all of us knew it. When everyone started hitting that option, I knew what was happening. Let me present a scenario to those of you that ask me why we didn’t just go back and do away with FT. I was sorely tempted, believe me. Picture this, I had already sent one honest preemptive email out in an effort to trim FT traffic to an acceptable amount. Then I follow it up with doing away with FT all together? The way everyone in this industry panics so quickly (unfortunately they are likely right to act that way), that would have been the immediate end. I was still paying out FT’s up to the very end in an effort to show people we were still paying, but people were very obviously bailing quickly and quietly. We burned through the reserves we did have and started chewing into upgrades rather quickly. We went from fairly healthy upgrades to sub $5,000 days – it was amazing and sickening to see it all disappear within the course of a few days.

I can’t blame this on DDOS attacks, I can’t blame this on hacking, I can’t blame this on internal theft (as much as some of you would love to believe an individual stole money), I can’t blame this on misappropriation or flagrant spending. The only money I made from this program was from mine and my wife’s account. I made my money the same way everyone else did – regardless if any of you choose to believe me. The only large sums ($3,000) of money anyone seeing the e-gold account will see is the money that was withdrawn to pay for the attorney retainer to help with the business model. Every ounce of what I did with any single penny that moved in or out of that account was notated and documented. The money that went to the attorney did go to my personal account initially, but was immediately withdrawn in the form of a cashiers check made out to the attorney. I even still have the express mail and cashiers check receipts showing it sent to him.

I do care what you people think about what happened, and am personally sickened to think that that many people that were saying they stood behind my decision were that quick to bail. I’d like to think that several people truthfully DID believe in me and my disassociation with PS or NME. To those folks, a resounding THANK YOU, and at the same time, my deepest apologies. The last few days before I had to make the final decision, we did close upgrades, but allowed people to continue signing up. I did return those upgrade funds that came in those last few days because the decision had already been made, and it wasn’t the right thing to do keeping those upgrades to offset other people that had been in the program longer. Obviously, not everyone has gotten a refund unfortunately. Please do bear in mind that the TOS does state that there are no refunds. In good faith, we did issue a large amount of people refunds based on how far out of earnings people were. No matter which model we came up with to try and get funds back to people, between the shift in gold prices, the nasty untrue rumors which continued to barrage us from multiple sources, and people leaving so quickly, there was no hope for AD Titans. In all honesty, between partially satisfying contractual agreements, and the refunds that were given, there is nothing left. AD Titans is gone.

I think the ultimate decision was in the hands of the members. Once the catalyst had started, a bulk of the members kept that downward spiral in motion. Show me any admin that could have pulled out of that gracefully under similar circumstances as above, and I would be in sheer admiration of them. There was no amount of other income streams that could have thwarted what happened… none.

Folks, I feel that I made some sincere friends through all of this, and likely some very unhappy people now that it’s over. If it makes any of you happy, yes, I have been losing sleep over the people in this program. It’s an extremely depressing thing to see something you have worked so hard and long on to get right, establish the relationships that were made, muddle through the accusations, while still have people believing in you, only to have to shut it all down so rapidly. There have been moments to where I thought I would get physically ill over this. I know that there are a few people out there that think this is just plain lovely that I am feeling this way, and that’s fine if it makes you feel better.

There’s little I can do about the rumors and additional accusations people are spreading now – and the “I told you so people” are loving this right now. I will stand by my original statement that we are not NME / PS in any way shape or form, and I will stick to that indefinitely. For those people that are suggestive / supportive of my opening another site, I don’t want to deal with the let-downs that I have had to deal with here. Only a sick individual would want to deal with the potential of hurting people again. There are so many things in this industry that are well beyond the control of any admin, regardless of any amount prior planning. People are the number one variable that most seem to always overlook.

Folks, I sincerely appreciate this lesson that has been taught to me. I sincerely appreciate those that believed in AD Titans and me. To those people that were trying to perpetuate the rumors and bring us down, you only succeeded in hurting a ton more people in addition to me. I hope you are happy. Good luck to everyone – even the non AD Titans folk. I hope this industry finds you well.

His lenghty post is a waste of time.

I don’t understand why this guy (Edward) wants to justify himself, repeating the same thing over and over again all the time. He already said there’s no link between NME and ADTitans, he’s not a scammer, blah blah blah…

But in fact, we’ll never know the real truth.

Edwards recognizes he made a lot of mistakes, hope that will be used as a lesson.

The good thing is that he won’t open another AS cause members will never forget what happened here and I don’t blame them. Why on earth would they join a program from a person who failed before?

      Time to move on…

Hi Luc, are you in anyway affected by the closure? Hope you didn’t lose much with them.

I lost a lil bit in this program. Not much fortunately cause I’m conservative. I always remember the words of Leo Di Melo: “Better to be safe than sorry!”

Ah good, that’s the way to go. I’m not in this one, but hopefully not many of my readers and the people in the community lose in this one.
