Google has started venturing on the payment processor market as well. Google Checkout is the name of their new payment processor.

    Google Checkout

Google Checkoutâ„¢ is a checkout process that you integrate with your website, enabling your customers to buy from you quickly and securely, using a single username and password. And once they do, you can use Checkout to charge their credit cards, process their orders, and receive payment in your bank account.

This might just be the next big thing thats cutting a pie from Paypal IMO.

I tried signing up, but seems its only for US citizens??? That would suck.

Hmm I didn’t notice that. Might be they want US citizens to start off first? I’ll check again and let you know mbongwe :)

I’m not based in the United States. Can I process transactions through Google Checkout?

At this time, only merchants with a U.S. address and bank account can process transactions through Google Checkout. We look forward to offering more options in the future.

      Yea, that’s sad.
