Global Online Depository - Quite Different, Potentially Real

I’ve been scoping out Global Online Depository for the past few days.
The guys behind it buy goods from places like China and resell them with high profit margins. Their latest PDF newsletter has their adventures to acquire vehicles/manufacturing of vehicles in China (little motorbikes - which are always killer on Ebay, all the way up to cars.)
I’m not going to ramble on about them just yet, or do one of my ranting write-ups, but I will be looking into them a fair bit more.
So far from a cursory glance, the stars line up and they look to at least have a lot of potential towards being real.
I’ve been recommended them by quite a few people.
So, consider this a heads up.
Some pros:
- Been around for a long time, it appears.
- From a cursory glance nothing they have claimed is false.
- Massive power seller account, long established on Ebay (I have not yet personally verified this connection but from second-hand sources I have heard that this is true.)
- Rely on the constant influx and outflux of goods. (So something different to a fx trading account for a change!)
- Lots of communication with admins.
- Informative site, even had PDF newsletters and the like.
- Low, theoretically sustainable interest rates (especially if they are selling goods at 40% margins!)
- Jovial ‘good ole boys’ style admins. (Non-dodgy looking photos of them in the newsletters, for example.)
- Can deposit via everything from E-Gold to Bank wires and direct deposits.
Cons:
- Goldcoder script… Which isn’t really a con seeing as it is just poor implementation of the script, and it’s low price, which is associated with scammers.
Either way, there’s a heads up on Global Online Depository. Everyone else is looking into the likes of cool stuff like Joyfund, so I’ll probably go on a little fact finding mission with these guys, time permitting, over the next few weeks just to spruce things up with a bit of variety.
In the meantime, here’s a summary from their site to tide y’all over. Minimum is ten bucks, so there’s not much to stop people from getting in with a placeholder account at least.
“How does a loan program differ from an investment program?
An investment program involves the purchase of assets which are expected to appreciate in value. These assets may be traditional investment instruments like stocks, bonds, futures contracts, and other securities. They may also be things like real estate, rare coins, antiques, or other tangible property. In any case, investing involves the buying and selling of assets, and realizing a profit or loss from those transactions.
In contrast, Global Online Depository is a loan program. Members do not buy or sell any assets. It’s actually much simpler. Members agree to lend money to Global for a term of one year. During the term of the loan, Global uses the money to finance a cyclical purchase and resale of product inventories at a profit. In exchange for the use of the money, Global agrees to pay members a specific, daily interest rate, and also to return the original loan principal at the end of the one-year term. It’s a classic example of a win-win arrangement.
How can I lend money to Global Online Depository?
To initiate a loan, you must first become a member of Global Online Depository. Once you are registered, you can make your first deposit. All deposits must be made through the Members Area. You can login immediately after you’ve registered.
What methods of payment do you accept for deposits?

When can I withdraw funds?
Depending on the loan plan you selected, you can usually start withdrawing your interest earnings (provided you have not elected compounding) after 90 calendar days. At the end of a loan’s one-year term, your original principal is released and you can either withdraw it or keep it working for you by making a new loan to Global.
How do I withdraw funds?
Log into your account using your username and password. Click the Withdraw link from the menu of links on the left-hand side of the page. Withdrawals are usually handled within 72 business hours, so please allow time for processing.
How long does it take for my deposit to be added to my account?
Your account will be updated after Global Online Depository has verified receipt of your deposit. Most deposits will become active the same day they are received. However, some deposits may take up to 7 days to become active, depending on the deposit method and the length of time it takes Global to verify your deposit has been received.”
So, if nothing else, Global Online Depository suceeds at being intriguing during this initial scope-out period at online poker.
You know, ‘more as it comes.’

P.S. I heard rumblings of moving away from the Goldcoder script eventually.
Also, compounding is being phased out, and each month will see a drop in referral fees as well.
For anyone who was wondering about some of the astronomical percentages right now, they are considered bonuses and the like at this early stage of the Global Online Depository SPIP.
At least, that’s what I’ve been able to figure out so far!
90 calendar days and after that you can get your payment. Hmmm… sounds too much like solidinvestment to me and 90 days is a long time in HYIP land.
They are completely different to Solid Investment.
SI was an anonymous scan, and from their inception, it was shown they were the same scamming group behind Jungle Ventures. A lot of people didn’t listen however. They made bold faced lies to the public. Nothing added up and there was no transparency.
Even their fake ‘Since 1998′ claim was believed by many.
Their 90-day plan crap was instigated to prolong the inevitable and suck more funds. Once again, people kept piling the cash in, which surprised me greatly.
Global Online Depository, however, from a cursory glance, offers some transparency, some personality and so far I have seen no fake claims - something which SI had from the start.
I will be researching into them more over the coming weeks, but from an initial stand point I see nothing to suggest any similarities to SI, and if I go on a little verification mission which only continues to affirm what I have seen, found and heard so far, then it’ll be cool.
I gave a heads up here because I’ve been hearing on the winds they are moving to some type of semi-privatization, and it’s basically ten bucks to secure a position in them for the future just in case.
Either way, 90 days turn around for a company which deals in the buying and selling of goods is much more believable and realistic than some “Bird Flu Vaccine” B.S.
It would be interesting to know the return after 90 days OR even after 365 days. Maybe there’s no fixed return, it depends on the market.

There’s fixed return stats at the site… They’re nothing outrageous, and the loans are year-long from memory.
You can get 1% a day. If you put in like a cool million bucks! :p
Assuming they’re doing what they say they are, it makes sense to have different plans with this. More money = able to buy more. Etc. etc.
i haven’t really checked into these guys but why would they need your money if they are real and sell on ebay?? cant they just take out a small business loan and pay way less interest??
hmmm im not sure about that, if i could get a loan with a bank i would go for that , why give money away to others? i guess im a greedy guy? if you look at this guys selling record he isnt selling much either just look at these dates.

and all these are cheap items no more then 10 dollars. and there was a big stop between JUN 7 and JUL 18? maybe the id was stolen then? who knows im just throwing out some ideas.
On their website they link to their main E-bay store which has completed 71 deals in the last 6 months. Items are no more than $10, so they should have an ebay cashflow of about $100/month…
Which is hardly enough to start promising great returns…?!!
Because if you’d dug further into their site you would have seen that other the past six months they have - apparently - phased away from using Ebay, and have their own auction site, and operate through retail points.
And Newlin, you’re looking at the wrong thing with your ‘why do it’ argument. Why do any of this? Why have ANY legit HYIPs? Why is there a Feederfund, an FX-E? Why is there an NSFG and Joyfund? Why is ANYONE sharing the goods?
The question about how they are making their money is much more legitimate however, even though you guys have just scratched the surface, because quite plainly the site has claimed, throughout the last year, that they have moved into much more ‘real’ avenues of selling and that their little Ebay store (apparently they have more) is the ‘best little store.’ As in bric-a-brac.
Hence why I’m looking into it more, but in the meantime, that was a heads-up as they may move towards privitization, and if they are real wouldn’t you want to be in with a $10 position just in case? (That’s for players who can afford the ten quid of course.)

I have beeen in this Global Online Depository since April 03rd 2006 and had no time to even follow it up!
I have personally spoken to Buck Hunter on the Phone and even after all these Months I have not been able to follow it up.
I guess I am just to plain busy making Money in Real Estate in Winipeg, Manitoba, Canada right now.
That is where I am today until the 20th of September 2006, then I will be back in Vancouver and I am willing to Invest the small sum of $6.000,00 for my Wife.
This will give her $7.500 as a total Investment and it will give me another $1.500,00 to start another Account as well.
She will then receive 0.85% per Day on the $7.500,00 includine the Bonus every working Day compounded and will not receive this on Weekends as well as on Banking Holidays.
So she would get this about 20/21 Days compounded per Month then and so will I in a smaller way, as I will receive $1.500,00 and I will start out the again at another 0.75% per Day like above (0.85%)per Day for my Wife.
Originally I did send $1.000,00 and I did receive a $500,00 bonus and I am to get 30.0000,00 SHares of this Company.
From looking at these Guys and talking to the President on the Phone, I personally think that they are genuine and hopefully will succeed.
Also so far I am at over $3.350,00 now!
Dont forget, they are smart enough and not keeping it as they startewd out and are slowly reducing sign up bonuses, Shares if they are still availabe as well as buying and selling teir stuff in many possible Ways.
Selling things on their own, on Line Account as well as Flee Markets and other ways and means.
It can be done and they are looking into setting up more Warehouses as well.
I know lots of People that will be Interested when I come back to Vancouver at the End of September and Invest some Money, aftyer I will get some of it out by October 3rd if I will be able to get some of my Interest earnings out???
Also I will sign up a personal Friend of mine (Lawyer) as well when I will get back Home.
So if you can spend some time and Investigate then and see what they are doing, then let me know.
Also if you need someone to help you sign up, I will do it as well and right now they are still offering a sign up Bonus for 25% as well for each, the Person signng up and the Person that is in your Upline (signing you up).
After all it is a Private Investment Club so far and they will likely go Public, but I do not fallow it much right now, as I am much to busy in Real Estate until the End of September.

Thanks for your Site and the Input I do have, I am not a Computer Person and try to do mt best, just learning and I just retired lest Year in Decamber 2005.
I hope to bring in more of my Family Members as well as some Friends, after I will be back in the Vacouver Area, around the End of September if the Program still has the sing up bunus as well.
Also I like to withdaraw or have one of the People that I personally know, take some Money out and then reinvest it again, just to see, how it will wotk out??

The Company has showed very good growth and more Warehouses have and will be comming on line, to facilitate the growth of our Company (yes all of you Investors have made it a success and we are all involved in one or another Way).
They are 1 Year in Business now and will be traveling right across Canada from Toronto, to Winnipeg, Calgary, Kamloops, Kelowna and then to Vancouver.
The top Brass, all 4 of their top People will be welcoming and informing Investors as to the past present and future of this Company.
They have had the foresight and keep reducing the Bonus, Share Issues ect, wich will only make the Compnay stronger and standing better on its feet.

HI EVERYONE i have beeen in Global since june. Ihave sined up my two sons for 2000 each , and we put in 5000 plus a 25% singup bonuse. our acount is at 16,000 We are know abbel to start tacking out some of our interest out. If we leave it in for one year it would be worth aprox. 35,000 not bad for a 5000 investment. So far so good Depending what one gets in one can get up to 1300% returns.
