I’ve read a nice and informative article from eCommerce Journal about Fees In Investing. The author detailing the actual fees involve in actual offline investing.
Therefore, for online investing like HYIP, those fees should be remain or not? Why none of HYIP who claims as a real investment company offline and has been established for few years charged us any fees? (Solidinvestment, Vascoinvestment and InvestDot for instance). If HYIP doesn’t charge us fees then who’ll bear all the costs involve in investments directly and indirectly?
I never thought of that and I believe most of you never thought of that too. If HYIP doesn’t charge us any fee can HYIP lasts long? Or is it a sign of BIG SCAM?
Here is the article that we should take into consideration:
“In real business world, with the emphasis on performance, most of us invest in unit trust funds knowing very little about the costs involved. Although fees should not be the overriding criterion when you decide which fund to buy, bear in mind that high fees eat into returns.
What are the fees charged by the unit trust companies? In a nutshell, investors pay front-end or back-end fees, and annual fees. The front-end fee or load is the service charge; the back-end fee refers to the exit fee while the annual fee includes management and trustee fees, which investors pay indirectly as they’re paid out of the funds’ assets.
However, with the appearance of online trading, it’s obviously opened another distribution channel apart from those of agencies and banks. What affect this have on unit trust fees?
An online portal for unit trust funds acts as an ‘aggregator’ that provides updated information in a fragmented market and helps buyers to select products through a single contact point for service. In theory, these portals can offer lower fees because of potentially lower costs. But are fees fall?
The cost for online marketing is cheaper than offline and no agency force to upkeep. However, setting up an online portal will mean heavy investments in system and security, the costs involved in running the website and traders/managements commissions.
The same exact thing goes in hyip world. I realized more and more hyips claim to be real investment companies and establish since few years ago before bringing the business into online.
When I asked them, why are you opening a hyip since you’re so successful company offline? Most of them replied “we’re not a hyip” or “we want to expand our business offline and online” or “open more opportunity to people around the world” and “to minimize costs”.
Well if they’re claims as real they can’t escape from such fees same as when they operating offline. They still incur costs for the online system and security, administration of the company, utilities, office rentals, staff salaries, trader/management commissions, director’s remuneration and last but not least, an IT expert. Who will bear these huge amounts of costs if hyips do not charge us any fees? And all these costs are monthly!
As far as I concerned, all hyips do not charge members any fees at all. Only few imply a small percentage fee for cash outs. Meaning, every time members request cash outs, they only receive amounts after the cash out fee being deducted. Usually, hyips only charge 1%-4% cash out fee.
Does it enough to cover the whole monthly costs? How about the fluctuation in gold price? Who will responsible for the drop gold’s price? And every time hyips exchange e-gold to cash and cash to e-gold they incur currency exchanger fees. Who will pay for these?
HYIPS OR MEMBERS?
The answer is obvious. Of course members will pay for all these costs. That’s why hyip can’t last long. They’re using the same money that you deposit to trade (if any), to pay the business monthly costs and of course the most important; for their own POCKET!
Then can you guess the ending of story….. yes, correct! The hyips become scam, not paying anymore, pending withdrawals, site down, hacking problem, DDoS attack, site vanish, the program closed, lost in trading, admin remains silent, no update from admin…… bla bla bla…. the list continues…….
With all the above explanation, always remember after all, if you want to have service, you still have to pay for it.
