An interview with Andrew, from The Finer Things
Hi Andrew, Thank you for agreeing to answer my interview questions for our readers at No Bullshit HYIP Blog Community.
A brief introduction of yourself?
Hi My name is Andrew - but most people call me Andy. I have been around HYIP’s /autosurfs and ecurrency for around 7 years. Made money – lost money and watch the big ones come and go. I kinda took notes about what was good (and bad) and then quietly launched XLO Autosurf. 9 months later we have the longest (without question) record of daily instant payouts. The Finer Things was launched on August 10 2006
Anyone dealing with your HYIP apart from yourself?
Yes but they are even more private than myself.
Have you ever been involved in any other programs?
Or are you currently running any programs at this point? XLO has run 2 cyclers. However XLO the surfer (2% a day for 75 days Instant payouts ) and TFT takes up enough time:)
Can investors visit or meet you if they have any queries about your program?
Not really – no. I am available 24/7 via email – or messenger. There has never been a problem getting in touch - nor should there be. I am active on several forums, and we are in the process of setting up our own forum separate from the Program servers. Communication should be available to all members on an equal basis – the forums allow this.
What made you started The FinerThings?
Why? Because it fits in so well with the business model. TFT allows us the usage of funds for a full 30 day period. With XLO – we have immediate obligations and this can limit the activities we are able to participate in. TFT partners with XLO and provides us the the ability to improve and expand some of our operations – to leave money working for longer periods of time and still be comfortable offering the returns that we do. XLO has allowed us to participate in a range of activities within the e-currency arena, and these have proved very profitable. But there were and are things we would like to do that we did not enter into because of the time frames involved – some of them we can now do.

Wait! Why is your domain xlenxtra.com? Any special meaning to it?
The name of the program though is The Finer Things - and that was taken We already had excellent opportunities (xlentopps) and this was a extra one hence xlentxtra. If we had gone with xlentextraoppsthefinerthings it would have looked a little silly….. people woulda had cramp and grown old before they typed the name in.
Is there any other sources of Due Diligence being done on TFT? Do list them if there is.
The DD that has been done on us has focused on XLO

We have had a report on us by Vincent Teough (he of the Autosurf-Guide) As an aside on Vincent – his report was rather non committal on us – he decided he couldn’t find anything bad. However he could not recommend us (even though we had passed the litmus test of demonstrated performance). He was unsure about what TFT was and is (even though the explanation was there to be read on the forum) He did – however, go into rhapsodies when another AS admin opened another program (ok for them apparently). Anyways Vincent wrote to talk to me – and I asked for his phone number. He declined and asked for mine. I declined and we settled on Skype. We talked for some time I suggested he update some of his comments to reflect the fact that we had talked. Don’t get me wrong – I don’t expect rave reviews from every analyst out there – we don’t fit their profiles of what is good – and thats ok. Some of them don’t fit my profile of what constitutes good either;). So we can agree to disagree – but – if someone is setting themselves up to be full open and fair – then they really should present all the facts to their public. Vincent has not (to my knowledge) updated his comments on XLO yet (we talked some time ago .. couple of weeks at least)

Where do you see TFT is heading and what are your goals?
My goal is to be here and stronger in 12 months from now. The business plan is sound – I see no real reason why this can not be so.
Do you feel that TFT is any different from any HYIPS out there?
We do what we say we will. We are human and make mistakes – and admit to them We don’t take holidays when there are things to be done. We answer emails We pay on time. We don’t make excuses. We don’t take VM or anything other than e-gold.
How are you actually generating the returns for your investors?
We do a number of things. Forex is one Sports betting is another. Either of those platforms could generate the returns. However we also are involved in sale and funding of e-gold based debit cards. We also are involved in other activities within the e-currency arena that do not make business sense for us to reveal. The diverseness of the activities reduces the risk, we do not have all our eggs in one basket.
Since you are dealing with Forex, are you using anyone in particular to trade, or you’re a trader yourself as well?
I do the trading myself in consultation with others - ie they give me opinons we discuss I take the plunge(s).
Sports betting, any sports in particular?
I’m not the sports person although I (again ) do the actual placing.. The people I deal with favour hockey and NFL I pretty much do what I’m told lolol.
I woulda have had money on the wrong team to win the NRL premiership (and the AFL one) so I let people advise who bet with their head and not heart
What are the risks? What could go wrong?
This is a leading question – and to answer fully would divulge the nature of all activities – and that is something that I am not prepared to do. For the sake of argument though - we could not have a stop loss on a trade in Forex and blow lots of money. We could place all the wrong sports bets. Egold could cease to be used as an ecurrency. All kinds of things COULD go wrong, but we operate in the belief that they won’t. Thus far this has proved to be the right way to do things – rather than concentrating on what we cannot do – we work on finding way to do the things we want to do. It is all to easy for someone to say “that won’t work “ or “you cannot do that”. This is the fear that stops achievement. Don’t tell me why I cannot – tell me how I can:)
What are the rewards for members as well as yourself?
The members get 180% after 30 days. We get to work in the developing market of e-currencies and provide an income for ourselves as well as others. There is much work to be done and much opportunity out there.
Should we be asking for a Due Diligence for you and your program, would you agree to it?
I assume you mean the bills and so on and the answer is (politely) no. You are entering into a high risk program. When doing so you leave all of the safe protections of the “real world”: behind. You come to the program knowing that we have a track record and that we have demonstrated a commitment to our members. If you want to ask for instruments such that you can track us down – then this is not the place for you.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
The answer to the last question may sound harsh to many but it is a fact that people should know and consider. The high risk arena is just that high risk. Enter with your eyes open. Don’t rely on big brother, or big sister. Rely on yourself. Don’t spend thinking that you will be able to ask for a refund – you won’t. Don spend on your credit card thinking that you can charge it back. It is true that many many programs will be out to rip you off – it is also true that there are many many people out there out to rip off EVERYONE. Many people have asked for my thoughts on the lifespan of the program.
I cannot give an iron (or gold) clad guarantee - it would be foolish and very unfair of me to do so. As I have repeatedly posted on many forums, this is high risk. With that said - I forsee The Finer Things being here this time next year, at least:)
All I can suggest to you - is find your own comfort level. We will be here (God willing) next week, next month, next year. You are more than welcome to come along:)

XLO has been a featured site at The Safelist since almost the beginning of our website launch. The above interview is exactly why. As Andy would say his program “has been bumbling along” under the radar and was doing well even then. But, when a program produces those kind of results DAILY INSTANTLY for 9 months, its not going to stay “the best kept secret” (In our words) for long! The success they are receiving is well deserved, and now there is even more opportunity with The Finer Things (XlentXtra).
With the time I have personally spent in the autosurf arena, I can truly say I haven’t met someone as committed to his program, and not only that, but committed to his members as Andy. An admin is as only good as the last cashout, support request, or email… All of which are handled promptly. I am not sure when or if he even sleeps, but at the end of the day cashouts are paid, and emails are answered, and forum rounds are made.
Great interview, and yes, Andy is more than deserving of Admin of the year! He has surely chosen the right name for his programs as well, because what he does he does with nothing less then professional ‘excellence’. He definitely is a shining light, a beacon, in this all too often dark industry of Autosurf/HYIP.
Needless to say, I feel very blessed to have found his program, and am a proud member of both. Now, I don’t want to make Andy blush here or anything, but because he is so VERY good at what he does I have personally dubbed him the ’surf whiz’, another title I believe is well deserved by him!
It is just soooooooo refreshing for me to not only see someone do something so well, but to also see them do it with such honesty and integrity, NO BS, NO excuses, a straight shooter, etc. how sadly RARE this is in our day and age. Andy’s excellent performance and proven track record, along with his upstanding character are the reasons he has so won my trust and respect. I sincerely wish him and XLO-TFT the very very best, and plan to be an active member of his programs for many years to come!

Andy runs two programs that I don’t worry about being there the next day (unless the server’s down!). I don’t recall ever feeling my choices to join programs have been as sound as these two have.

I have not enough words to praise Andy——–we who join these programs do so knowing we do not have the money nor expertise to operate open and above board as he and his group do——— we ride the admin’s back and hope for the best after looking around—–we give them our money hoping they can make a profit — some do and some don’t even if they are honest– many an honest man has bitten the dust in brick and mortar as well as stock market etc because of things beyond his control or just a simple mistake that causes a meltdown. I don’t know - I would have loved to see Andrew more confident and committal. His returns are not unrealistic. He has a clear vision - WHY NOT CATEGORICALLY SAY THAT HE IS HERE TO STAY FOR THE NEXT 25 YEARS or longer. Let him be an investment leader !!

Snasman, why would you think 3 months is too old? GR lasted over a year paying out 190% which is more than what TFT is paying out. HyippyLove is going on 7 or 8 months now. Those are just two off the top of my head. TFT has one other thing going for it. Andy.

We are fortunate at the moment to have a few excellent Admins,eg.Tri-star,12by12daily,13daily etc. ,but Andy also gets my vote for admin of the year.
Talking of honest admins , Raymond of Savingseason and Andy of TFT come directly to one’s mind. Of course Euraltrade , 12/12 daily and 6KFinance are also proving themselves reliable.
Andy’s payment record for me is perfect, and his support for any questions I have had has been excellent. I’ve been XLO for over a year and in TFT since its’ beginning. We could only wish that there were more programs run as well as these.

I read the interview and was very impressed that Andy has such a command of the issues regarding the surfing site business. I have been dealing with both of his sites for a number of months and and he is the most honest and reliable admin in the busness. It would not suprise me if he is around for a long time. Any negative responses to Andy and the interview or Andy himself are coming from fools that are envious of his success. “And we have a lot of those type of people - don’t we”.

I’d like to add my thanks to Andy,
XLO has paid out instantly every day since I joined over a 100 days ago.
If there’s ever been a site issue he has credited us with the cash or additional days on our upgrades.
If I’ve ever had a question, he’s answered it personally within a few hours, frequently within a few minutes….
I’ve been in several other programs… made a lot of money… lost a lot of money… the cashouts are pending (delayed) for 5-10 days and some never come, sites are down without explanation and when you have a query, you can never get a reply from the admin.
What more could you want from a program… now we’ve got TFT if you’re up for bigger cash-outs!… once again, paid daily. I’m recommending this to all my friends.

I understand that you must have been burned a few million times from other sites, however Andy and his 2 sites pays on time all the time.
Unless you get your facts straight I would suggest you retract your statement because the only one that is complaining is you.
Andy has not said that he does forex alone, therefore he diversifies all funds in case the forex has a problem, you on the other hand must have put all your eggs into one basket and that is why you are speaking sour grapes.
TFT & XLO are and will be the TOP programs in 2007, Andy has never held anything back from his members or in any interview that I have read, therefore why not join the growing sites rather than blaming everyone for your mistakes?

This is the only Admin, HYIP and Autosurf program I have read almost 100% commendation on except for that Bull-sh**t man’s comment. He is a loner this time around. I have been 1 month with TFT, and I am impressed by the sincerity of this Andy of a man. I only regret not investing so much on TFT rather than 6k-finance that scamed so many of us.
I want to let Andy know that he can become a Billionaire making many Millionairs if he keeps working this way by 2008!

I read that comment a while back and thought probably just another uninformed punter been burned for their $1 in some bad Hyip games on their school holidays So took the comment for what it was worthless
TFT is going down but whether Andy will be honest and return us back what is left we will only know on the 31 Jan It is good to hold off all spends in both programs. Forums are down but no announcement from Andy in the usual forums. The experts say TFT won’t survive past the New Year and they are right. Should have listened to them.

How nice of someone to try to impersonate me. I find it ludicrous that someone has such a strong opinion but then has to hide behind a fake name.
I can speak for myself, I don’t need your help. In the future, if you have something to say, try using your own handle. It might give you some credability.
It’s good to see that there are some sane people around. As soon as there is a little problem people react like a bunch of jackasses. These same people that complain (you know who you are) give no credit at all when things go fine. Plus these are the same people that ‘WOULD DO NOTHING’ for any one.

Now is 2007 going to be a great Year for you all or Not? Are you going to make that decision or let somebody else make it for you?… Good, I assume you made the right answer.
I’m going to tell you a short personal story. Exactly 20 years ago I had built a successful $6m t/o traditional home improvement direct sales business and despite the fact it was my money that had been employed to build the business and my house that had been on the line from day one, during 1987 I GAVE partnership to two of my key employees… and that’s just it, no matter the fact that they worked hard, they still kept employee attitudes and you could never get them to commit to a decision on anything of significance! Funny you know… whenever, I made a good decision, didn’t WE do well! Whenever I made a poor decision (and I did, at least 30% of the time), Paul’s ****** up again!
The reason for the parable, is I see the same sort of stuff here in this forum… From the beginning, when in everone’s opinion things are going well, isn’t Andy the good guy, the hero. Funny tho, as soon as there is the slightest inkling that things are not going so well (and you tell me any business where things go well all the time… business is a roller coaster ride and I’m glad to be out of it) Andy is suddenly christened by a few as the bad guy and a whole bunch of people take up the chorus. For Christ’s sake… give the man a chance.
I don’t know Andy personally, I don’t know his true aims and intentions for his businesses and I don’t know how he funds from 150-180% payouts, any more than I really understand how the power and technology enables a light bulb to come on when I push the switch. All I do know is that, most of the time, the light comes on (and do I blaspheme when it doesn’t). What I do know is, that every payment I have been due for 101 days, has been paid INSTANTLY, like no other business I am aware of.
If Andy has to make some tough decisions to keep these wagons rolling, then that’s in his hands and his alone. We ALL joined a program, knowing the risks and trusting that Andy will do his best to provide the payouts in accordance with the T&C’s. How he achieves it, has to be left with him and perhaps he’s been too honest and upfront by even letting the Members know he faces some challenges. As a result, he’s feeling the whiplash and, you know, it only takes one Naysayer to bring out the worst in people and it seems to permeate more quickly than a dozen positive people. So Guys… even if you normally just read and don’t wite anything in these forums… Please, if you have anything positive to add, even if it’s just a Thanks to Andy for what he is trying to achieve for us all, NOW iIS THE TIME TO BE COUNTED… write in and let Andy know you care, because a few harsh words from a few disenchanted people can really sting, especially when the positives remain silent!
Sorry Folks, another few hundred words where perhaps a few dozen would have done, from an ex-schoolteacher, turned successful but disenchanted business owner. I’ve worked from home now for 12 years and pleased to do so!

If I have the right info I don’t understand how egold can act like this so that TFT lost money because of the banning of Iranian accounts on e-gold.
Hm …. isn’t it any possibilities to talk in a dialog with egold and get the TFT money back? From my point of view there must be a reasonable form of dialog if its honest bussiness people who is behind this decision… and I wonder if we as investors can do anything in this area?

Good to learn that the guy who posted that irrational comment is an impostor. An impostor is a weak minded fellow without dignity and indentity.
Andy has remained the finest business man I have met on the internet. His forthright attitude and honesty are virtues that will kep drawing people like us him no matter what program he starts afresh tomorrow.
Like most people have said, this is time to let Andy know that he is a superstar business man. It takes guts to do what he is doing. My only advice to him, is to never let any coveteous spirit, pride or arrogance overtake him. Let him keep his cool and do his work. He has the best followership I have seen on the internet. This is what most internet entrepreneurs are spending money to accomplish–Loyal Fellowership! If you have the members following you, then you have serious money following you. If you betray them, you lose out forever.
