    Oct 14th 2006

Well, the Global Online Depository countdown is at 6 days now… (That’s six days till the initial promotion and bonuses finally presumedly end!)

So if you want in on this program, and are sure about it, make sure you take advantage of that fact.

They’ve steadily climbed up my list of HYIPs and remain my favourite (though they still haven’t entered my ‘real opportunity’ list, as, I still haven’t had a chance to follow up too much due to ‘real life’ though all the snippets I hear are intriguing or good to say the least.)

So anyway here’s an email update:

    “”Hi Global Online Depository TEAM,

wanted to share some info we learned tonight with you on Global.

    1. Five New Customer Support Personel hired!! Yay this should help to clear up back logs of outstanding deposits and outstanding withdrawals. Please bear in mind though that today alone they had 1800 emails so please be patient and give them some time. Contact them at globalonlinedepository@yahoo.com if you have a deposit or withdrawal that is over 2 weeks without action.

    2. Global sales are through the roof!! Over $200K in sales per day.

    3. Global now has 10 warehouses and the inventory is moving in and out at an amazing pace.

    4. Global Direct Bank Deposits are on hold. The best method is to send by express mail to
Global Online Direct at: Global Online Direct, Inc., 60539 Peach Road, LaGrande, Oregon
    97850

    5. Cease and Desist Orders which are incorrect that many have seen on Internet are in the
    process of being removed.

    6. Company is on track to go public by end of 2006.

Remember the countdown to October 21st is on.

    Regards”"

There’s some interesting goodies amongst that, and I love the fact they’ve referenced the Cease And Desist Orders rather than ignoring them.

So guys and girls, there you have it.

Also, Emerald-Surf have adopted the 50-50 payout rule! Great for longevity, but enough to disgruntle little old Chancer. (More mucking about.) But at least since they’ve adopted it, they have insured payouts have been made super quick to ensure that peeps who need the cash to meet the 50 - 50, can use it from their last payout! So I give them props for that.

I’ve heard about the 50-50 thing. Actually chancer, would you mind explaining why is it better this way?

    2. Gravatar Icon 2 frederik

      Well it looks very good.

      1) Interesting daily payouts. Not to high but still better than putting your money in the bank.

      2) Almost a 100% feedback on ebay

      3) A fair referral programma

      4) A real location and a fax number.

Pretty amazing. Hyip is still cool :d

    3. Gravatar Icon 3 chancer

I think you missed what I wrote Jude. I said I don’t personally like the 50-50 rule that much.

However, obviously it is good because it adds to the longevity of the program and they just keep going… and going… and going…

      (In relative terms.)

    4. Gravatar Icon 4 Jude

I didnt chancer, I was actually asking how the 50-50 works, since i’ve never got caught in the situation before. lol

    5. Gravatar Icon 5 Hey You Nitwits

Hey - Did any of you “savvy investors” ever look up the address where Global Online wants you to send deposits by “express mail”? Google earth the address - it’s a corn field.

Yeah, this is a real investment operation - investing in dirt.

      good luck, suckers.

    6. Gravatar Icon 6 Jude

      Hey there,

Could you provide more info on the address my friend?

    7. Gravatar Icon 7 Chris

I just go off the phone with AJ Burzuk. He said that the Direct Bank Deposits are not on hold and that they are currently working through clearing deposits made in the first week of October (they are getting a flood of deposits). He also said that although Direct Bank Deposits are not on hold in general, they have deactivated the Wells Fargo Direct Deposit because of an internal error on the side of Wells Fargo. So, I don’t know where that email update came from. I didn’t ask AJ any more questions about this supposed email update, but perhaps I should have, to further clarify whether that email really is from Global, or if it was, whether there was just miscommunication.

      Regarding ‘hey, you nitwits,’:

I spoke to the postmaster of the LaGrande Post Office today. He confirmed that the address was correct, and that Global had a sizeable operation on Peach Road. He even volunteered that it looked like a few Mercedes Bentz’s were sitting in the parking lot. (He drives on Peach Road quite a bit)

I’m still troubled by the cease and desist enforcement actions, but went forward today with a sizeable loan.

Good luck to all of us.

      Noice. (Aussie for nice.)

    10. Gravatar Icon 10 investor

i have invested a sizeable chunk into global and have 2 other friends who have also. one guy has received his referrel money already and is happy with what he received and how quickly they sent it. i am surprised nobody has posted since october! does anyone have any other news on this company?

    11. Gravatar Icon 11 advocate

Other than a limited thread at HPIP Discussion, and some prattle at MMG, there is not much in the way of a spirited exchange of information regarding Global.

There are the conference calls, of course.

I am a bit troubled by the latest update of the FAQ’s, particularly the language used when explaining how withdrawals are handled. Anyone else have a take on this?

    12. Gravatar Icon 12 Ross

Well I have a withdraw dating back Nov 2006. have contacted support, Russ etc. took them 2 months to respond with a message that came down to this that they will check my request and there are not a bank and there is a long line. will I ever get paid? there is someone at HD forum (cheery guy) that tells tales about new developments etc..non of them true. specially with regard to reinstatement of e currency withdraws.they have specially denounced any news regarding this fact formally. I am confident that there are many in the same position as I am.

      Ross.

here is what i found from the site with regards to requests for withdrawals:

      Q. How quickly are withdrawal requests fulfilled?
      A. Fulfillment of withdrawal requests must wait on the sale of enough current inventory to generate sufficient cash to cover the requests.
Generally, withdrawals are fulfilled as follows and the check, or other means of fullfillment will be processed within the following guidelines:

Up to $500, allow at least 7 business days to process.
For $500 - $2,499, allow up to 12 business days to process.
For $2,500 - $4,999, allow up to 18 business days to process.
For $5,000 - $9,999, allow up to 25 business days to process.
For $10,000 - $19,999, allow up to 30 business days to process.
For $20,000 - $34,999, allow up to 35 business days to process.
For over $35,000, allow up to 40 business days to process.
Under unusual cirecumstances or if there are a larger-than-normal number of requests, fulfillment could take longer than indicated by the guidelines shown above. These estimates do not include delivery time.

Pease REMEMBER Global Online Direct, Inc. “is not a Bank” - we have to liquidate Product Inventory to fulfill withdraw requests.

this is going to be a problem when all the people who joined up in june and on till the cut off date are waiting for there money. i could see waiting upto 3 or 4 months. i was anticipating that when i invested and was thinking i would have my money in june!

When a company reports that loan repayments are contingent upon sales, I become concerned for their long-term viability. First, it’s a business blunder to relate cash flow details, especially details which make investors nervous. Second, if they are truly in that position, and have no loan payment reserves, then it is unlikely they will succeed.

Time permitting, I plan on being on the conference call, armed with some pointed questions. I hope they are using some decent conference software—-last few times I tried, there was a lot of interference and echo. Not a very professional face.

    15. Gravatar Icon 15 Beware

I put in a withdrawal request last November also. Have called, emailed and done everything asked of me. Yet, cannot get the withdrawal. Now we enter March 2007. I would venture to say that 4 months is well beyond the time frame they list in their rules.

There is something very wrong. Even a reply from Russ here and there has produced no results to date.

Anyone have a clue what is going on over there?

    16. Gravatar Icon 16 Ross

I had also withdraws waiting since November. Finally got some of them paid out and received the check in the mail 2 days ago.
Keep up hope and yours may turn up soon.
      Ross.

here is an email i sent and the answer i just received from one of the owners A.J. Bursk. this did not make me very happy!!

Hi A.J.! My name is Scott and I am an investor in globalonlinedepository. My user name is . I was wondering if you could let me know why there has not been any updates or any type of work done on the website since November/06? Under the news column there has been no new updates since October 6/06. Are you not updating the site anymore or are you all just too busy? It would be nice to see some actual feedback and news and others items going on in the company. I have invested a substantial amount of money (for me) and it would be comforting to know you all are still there and working hard with all our money! On another note, I would like to ask about the program for paying back the investment and all interest made at the end of the 1 year period . I read that there is a time frame schedule depending on how much is owed. Now I read were it says you are not a bank, but are you not making any provisions or putting away money for the time when a lot of people invested at one time where there will probably be a substantial waiting period due to the high volume of money owed back out! To tell you the truth I never expected that! I expected you to be prepared and get the money back before a up to 2-3 month period. Well thanks for reading the email and I am awaiting your replies. Sincerely,

Hi Scott, We have had changes and updates to the website, though not in the news section per se. I was starting a new newsletter in December but our president became very ill so I was unable to have him review before January. Then since we are rolling out a new program, we have been holding off until we have all the details to release to everyone. Hopefully we will have something new in the coming weeks. We are still here but very unlikely you will ever hear of all our moves in the regular course of business. We don’t need info getting into the wrong hands. Not sure where you are going with your paragraph. We are definitely not a bank, there you are correct. As for “putting away money”, setting aside funds and not actively using them to grow the business is the most foolish thing one could do. We have to keep the borrowed funds working for us to offset the high interest rates we are paying. Sometimes what you expect and what is best for everyone involved do not match. All the best, A.J

As much as I may find their business model objectionable (from a traditionalist standpoint), I did, in fact, receive two checks yesterday paying withdrawal requests made in the second and third weeks in February. On the advise of a trusted associate, I kept the withdrawal requests under $500 each.

I posted a few other places, as it seems that quite a few investors are a bit nervous and frustrated.

Here’s hoping they get on schedule and get everyone caught up!

    19. Gravatar Icon 19 investor

here is a little blurb while trying to sign in to the website from a saved page. hope this is good news! what do you think guys?

      Global Is Now Fully Funded

We are pleased to announce that adequate funding has been achieved. Therefore, new members and new loans are no longer being accepted.

Our attention is focused now on scaling product sales through our existing distribution channels and on growing Business In A Box to its full potential so that we can honor all agreements with our Member/Lenders and repay all existing loans.

Thank you for your kind support and participation. Without you, Global could not have come this far.

well i am surpised no one else has printed this so i guess i am the first to read the email.

this is disturbing to all investors and gives me little hope for seeing any of my money invested or my interest earned! its funny how i made my first request for a withdrawal yesterday, just as this email arrived! well here is the email i received about global, from global:

Global Online Direct Update - March 23, 2007
      Dear Global Member:

There are several reasons for this e-mail. The first is to acknowledge the receipt of and respond to your letter or phone call, even if we’ve spoken recently. More importantly, it is to apprise you of the current status of Global Direct’s business (particularly as it pertains to withdrawal requests, activations, account renewals, and other situations) and recent developments that impact same. Since I am sending this to all correspondents, it is possible you may receive it more than once.

A little over a week ago, Global was contacted by the SEC (U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission) regarding an “informal investigation” of our methodology of fundraising and business procedures. I wish to emphasize that this “investigation” was not a “Cease and Desist” and Global was and is allowed to continue with its sales. However, at the request of and in full cooperation with the SEC, for the time being, all other activities such as withdrawals, new loans, account updates, etc. are “on hold.”

Withdrawal requests sent out on or before the 14th of March were the most recent before this temporary situation was effected. I have no immediate means to determine if any particular request or delinquency was in this group.

I feel it is important to stress that keeping a “cool head” at this time serves everyone. I will always, as I’ve promised many times, keep you informed and tell you the truth about what’s going on. The two senior officers of Global are both working feverishly to resolve any issues that, unintentionally, may not be consistent with legal compliance. Their first commitment is to Global’s members and the safety and security of all members’ loan principal.

We will continue to have updates on developments both on our web page and on our weekly calls on Tuesday and Thursday nights. You may soon be hearing from Buck or Bry, or even both by e-mail. As you can imagine we are all currently inundated with e-mail as well as phone calls, so please be patient and allow us time to get back to you. If you do choose to leave a personal voice mail for me, I request that the first three things you say, slowly and clearly, are your name, phone #, and where you are calling from.

On the brighter side of the spectrum, the receptivity to our “Business In A Box” program has been universally positive. This creative and innovative “breakthrough” in how independent contractors and entrepreneurs will be empowered and profit is unlike anything in the history of free enterprise and has prospective associates excited “World-wide.”

In my opinion, there is a remarkable, brilliant, future ahead for all associated with this wonderful company. The men standing behind it are of the highest integrity and the most creative and generous I have ever had the honor to serve in business, in my 30-plus years of self-employment.

I hope this letter finds you well and contributes to clarifying the current, if somewhat chaotic, state of things. I will endeavor to keep you informed of the facts as they become known.

Thank you for your continued patience and support of Global.

      Kindest Regards,
      Russ DeVan

Well it seems that the Big Buck and the Judge have done it again. This isn’t the only time the securities commision has stepped in. These two have done this before in the U.S. and Canada for the last few years which I have been reading. I don’t see any money coming out of this company for investors.
They always seem to have a reason and not very good at why they haven’t sent any money forward to their investors. I have phoned and emailed them since the first part of November and finally got a response sometime in January. Yup no money but they are working on it???????? They always give you a song and dance about how busy they are. Their reply is “your at the top of the priority list and should receive some cheques soon.
Well that was back in November and we still have not received a red cent. I think all is lost with this company.
I can’t seem to get a straight answer out of these cowboys?? I guess we can all kiss our investments goodbye. I have a few downlines with their life savings in this company. One a good friend of mine whom has $250,000 sitting there now but can’t touch it??
They keep telling people to stay tuned for the telephone conversation ,but. If you look at their sales on eBay it is a measely 1500 sales. I think for a good company even starting out they should do a hella of a lot better. But here we go again they always have an excuse for their low sales and non payments. They say that they are a new company and it will take time for sales to pick up. But another person from Global will tell you that business is so busy that they can’t keep up????? If anyone has any insight into this one please post any information. There are alot of us hung up and that makes me feel very badly, since I talked these people to invest all they had. Too good to be true my wife says. I should have listened to her. There goes my three kids college fund. I guess I will have to get another job on the side to pay for all this mess since some of us borrowed money for this investment. Crying out there.

    24. Gravatar Icon 24 Machenka

$250.000? Your kids college fund? Borrowed money?

      Seriously - im shocked!

I feel bad for you, but investing your kids college fund and borrowed money is just plain stupid. I think most are blinded by the returns that are high but “achievable”, so the more money to invest the better. Its a dangerous way to think when it comes to investing in general, that we can just pay the bank back when we get the millions of $ in return over the next couple of years.

I think it’s a good rule to only invest money that are not gonna be used for anything else. I got burnt a bit when i started out in the industry 1½ years back and learned my lesson, and everybody probably have to go through this lecture to understand the risks in this industry. However loosing your kids college fund, borrowed money $250.000, thats terrible. I hope they eventually pay out and wish you good luck from here.

      /Machenka

    25. Gravatar Icon 25 Lily

Right now I’d have to say the odds are you should write off this money as a total loss. There is still the small possibility of getting back your original loan, even smaller possibility of interest, or any outstanding referrals. If they do end up not paying, I hope they go to jail. You should go ahead and get that second job and hope for the best.
