I’m on this book The Little Book of Value Investing by Christopher H. Brownie and saw something interesting which I think should be applied to HYIPs as well.

Another principle of margin of safety is diversification. I want to have a broadly diversified portfolio both in terms of the number of programs we’re in, and in terms of spreading those invesetments over different industries. Indvidual stocks and particular industries can have the wind in their face from time to time. Such adverse conditions are difficult to predict. They just happen. We call them negative event surprises. Accidents happen and no amount of advance planning can insulate you completely from such occurrences.

Whilst reading this part of the book, NSFG, FXE and the rest of the more “stable” programs keeps dancing around my mind. So diversify as much as you can my friends.

If you haven’t done so, please sign up for our free e-zine in which I’ll update from time to time on the latest password to my portfolio, any updates and changes, as well as opportunity to get into a closed group forum which I am developing.

In the meantime, the portfolio has some changes. So take a peek if you have the time.

Diversify? Into what? This HYIP industry only provide ponzis or at least forex based programs. FXIG, NSFG, FXE … should I say more?

well (read the article first … ).. that exactly what he is talking about … trully diversifying means to invest into different areas.. HYIPs is one area, stok market is another, bet sporting could be one more , how about forex trading yourself ..

btw jude. the included link to your portfolio in this page is erroneous .. it is missing the first “hyipblog”

Thanks again Gabriel, I’ve corrected the error, wouldnt spot it without you mentioning it ;)

It’s been a pretty bleak year end for hyips. I don’t think you can diversify your risks in hyip since any program you join is already high risk even one like NSFG.

So far it’s bad news from FXE and now NSFG. Have to wait it out for FXE and now NSFG is on hold for 3 months as well.

If UF, UI or SGFH start going south, i think it’s time to call it quits for hyip in general. You have better chances making money at a casino.

It usually happens at the end of the year for HYIs, having said that, don’t be distressed as yet.

You have big deposits with SGFH Black Dragon?

It’s only a small 3 figure in SGFH. Since it’s still in it’s infancy i will keep an eye on it for now. Don’t plan to put any fresh funds into any program for the next couple of months unless it is profit from other programs.

I’m with you even for any “golden” opportunity at this point. Then again this blog will stay here to look out for our readers.

We know its going to happen this season, we’ve been there last year. lol

Diversification is the best way to go.

I got into HYIPs late.. onlyl beginning of this year, and was the time when all big programs started to crash. Now with most you are lucky if they even last one cycle.

Ive always made sure to be invested in plenty of hyips and autosurfs to compensate for all the scams, but only now am i starting to get into other money making areas online.

      too many scams!
