I’m pretty sure there’s many people that has been hit by 12by12Daily,
Hi Everybody,
This is the hardest update I have ever had to write. 12by12daily is now closed. I have done everything in my power to keep both sites operating, but, at the end of the day, if theres is no money coming in, then there is nothing to pay out. Since the launch of 12by12daily I have been working up to 18 hours a day 7 days a week to make this a success. Some of you will appreciate the effort I have put in, others will not. During that time, we have been subjected to some enormous obstacles. Right from day 1 we were subjected to extortion threats, which we did not bow down to. This resulted in our site being attacked by massive ddos attacks, which we were eventually able to repel. It also resulted in our database being totally corrupted due to my attempts to pay everybody for they days they had been unable to surf. We have still been unable to totally correct these errors. Worse than that, it also started a massive campaign of negativity in the forums, resulting in a lack of confidence, and complaints to egold, which saw my egold account blocked. We were able to get through these problems, and make 12by12daily a successful site for a time. Just when we thought we had things back on an even keel, it all started again. First we were hacked, and a number of members had their egold account numbers changed. This took a few days to sort out, but it was the beginning of the lack of confidence shown by members. I could have announced then, that we were in trouble, but I preferred to fix the problem, rather than aggravate it. I announced an increase in the maximum allowable upgrades, and a number of other positive signs about 12by12daily. This worked well for one day, until some unsupportive members announced to the world that we had a cashflow problem. Some others even emailed their downline telling them not to make any further upgrades. The action of these members was probably the single most influential factor in the downfall of 12by12daily. Many of you are familiar with what happens when there is a run on a bank, well the same thing happens in an autosurf program. I had to make changes in payout rules to protect us from that, which I did. This also had a positive effect for a few days, until we got hacked again. This time the hacker got away with a large sum of money. This in itself would not have been enough to bring us down, but it was followed up with another sabotage attempt, whereby we were bombarded with phoney upgrades for a period of about 4 days. Almost every member had at least one of these phoney upgrades added to their account, and by the time we got that problem solved, I could see the level of confidence decreasing by the day. From a position where we would have been able to save the site, Upgrades were becoming less and less each day, until they are now at virtually zero. I have continued to make payouts in that time, in the hope that it might turn around, and I will continue to make payouts over the next few hours, until there is nothing left in my egold account.
I am truly sorry about this situation. I am not a scammer, and I have not stolen and run away with your money. Every penny made from 12by12daily has been put back into the program to make payments, and to make some payments at dadndaves. I am a good person who has been hit with circumstances I cannot control. I believe the majority of members will understand this, and accept that I have done everything I could to keep the program going. There will be a rabble rousing minority who will not accept it, and will go screaming in the forums etc for revenge. If any of those members should be considering legal means to recoup any losses, I would remind them of the terms agreed to upon joining. (Relevant paragraphs printed below) Each member, upon joining ticked a box to say they had read and understood the terms and conditions. This constitutes a digital signature, which is then a legally binding document. If you still wish to pursue this avenue, then I should also tell you there is no money left. Every penny I have made from 12by12daily has been put back into the program,
In closing I would like to thank all the members that have supported me over the last couple of years. It is your support that has enabled me to continue as long as I have. I have been shattered by this, and it is highly unlikely that you will ever see me with an internet business again.

The cow has been milked to death folks… too bad this one didn’t last into 2007, it would’ve been fun if it reached the 12dp levels
there will never be another one that will reach the height of 12dp, at least that’s what i think.
12DP has left many devastated and I think that has generated tons of skeptics around so once a program goes into trouble, most of the members just bail out which will cause the program to crash.
12by12Daily started out too fast and too strong, which resulted in problems when members bailed out all of a sudden. 12DP started growing slowly and it has enough supporters to see it through it’s bad times.
With the latest 50/50 rule, I’m sure deposits are still ongoing. Wonder if they do ever get their refunds.
I suppose those pending withdrawals at DadnDaves are never gonna see the light as well. Bye bye to my $50 …

What pisses me off are the upgrades he took just yesterday.
Someone emailed me they upgraded 2500 bucks yesterday evening to match the 50/50 for the 5k he had pending…
Where does THAT money go? Dave needs to refund that, at least, instead of hiding behind his TOS.
I personally don’t think he is a scammer. He’s just a terrible manager.
By the way he was talking, he was sure to have a bigger success than 12DailyPro and to stay online for more than a year. He even made an E-Book stating how to access financial freedom with his program.
He did nothing to attract new investors in the month of December (advertising, special deals…) other than putting his 50/50 rule, which did the opposite by scaring off the investors.
I am also pissed off , i’m pissed off with myself for getting into this program and not seeing the light that was going out at the end of the tunnel. I too upgraded last night only to find the site closed this morning. I checked my E-gold tonight in hopes that last nights upgrade would have been returned . I think just returning the upgrades like mine and others that were made in the last dieing hours of the program would be nice .
I am so sad that the program is closed now.

Yes, I am agreeing with you ! The best thing Dave can do now is returning the upgrades like mine, yours and others that were made in the last dieing hours of the program.

this is really ticking me off…him taking that money yesterday was robbery.
I agree that Dave needs to re-evaluate what his next course of action should be but IF he’s been honest you have to try to see things from his perspective. I’m sure many here have had financial difficulties and have tried ALOT of different things to get out of debt. That often leads to very bad decisions and a domino effect where things just get worse and worse. Perhaps he hasn’t dispersed the funds from the most recent upgrades and they SHOULD be returned but we can, atleast, give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s done the best he could over the long haul.

The only thing more abundant than scammers are people who continue to believe that everyone has the same degree of honesty and ethics as they do. You don’t delay payments so you can justify adding another “upgrade package, ” double allowable spends from $6K to $12K, only to bail a week or so later under the protection of your TOS. (TOS Translation: “I Told You So”)

The Most effective scammer ever, without a doubt. Excellent timing. He knew that not as many would returm after the christmas holidays. So, maximized his profit and closed up shop. People in the forum boast of his honesty yet not even knowing who and where this individual lives. I sure hope someone will finds out or do some sort of investigating into who this so called Dave is. Well at least he cannot not be John Horan.
LaoWai is right. The last message is a typical mocking farewell note from a scammer. Remember Invex? It is to mock the victims. This is the most despicable thing that a scammer can do. Most scammers would just disappear gracefully without having to insult the victims. And that 12×12 scammer sucked the innocent victims to the last drops and then spit on the victims.
I hope someone in Australia nail him down. I also blame all the praises from the bloggers and the forums about how DC was the most honest and reputable admin ever. Most innocent victims failed to recognize that DC was planning the exit all along from double the upgrade, 3 upgrades to 50/50 …… Without that insulting last message, I would still naively believe he did try hard. I am sure he ran with millions of dollars.
In my opinion, Charis Johnson is a nice person. She did try to pay to her last drops. I was paid to the last moment of the death of 12DP without that 50/50 rule or excuses. An honest “Ponzi’!! Many of you might not agree.
The reason why 12by12 did not succeed is that surfers are getting smarter with every failed program like this. They know the thing to do is to hit the new programs hard early and then get out leaving the newbies to the autosurf world holding the bag. There were red flags WAY back when he stopped paying referral commissions promptly and started paying it monthly..then 2 months went by and NO commissions were paid. The cash flow problems started WAY back. Being an Honest administrator is not good enough. What is the difference if you lose your money to a scammer or to an honest well meaning administrator??? Nothing, you have lost your money eitherway.
Me personnally after all this, this is my opinion. After stormpay, DadNDaves was never able to recover. So he put the plan together to start 12by12daily and use the 12DP model before it was dead, knowing he already had a member base that supported him. Also knowing that a few other sights were already using a similar model and it was still working just as well.
At this point payouts at DadNDaves has long been dead. To this day he was only making payouts up to March over at DadNDaves. Now that he has 12by12 up and running, all is right with the world, except they never figured in how popular they were and could not control the sign ups. So to keep payouts in check, referral commissions get delayed. Which they were all the way to the end.
So you have two delaying in payments, it was only a matter of time. So now regular payouts get delayed. So now he blames things on hackers, spammers, HARs, you name it. So with no more excuses he put the 50/50 rule into place with no warning. So now the members are damned if the do and damned if they don’t.
I wish now that I had this knowledge months ago. DadNDaves are no different than they guy who ran 4daily. It just took a while for it to all come out in the open. If he could not sustain a site that was only paying a few percent, I don’t know why anyone, including myself would think that he would be able to pay 12%. They way he was asking for money in the end, was just crazy. Believe you me I have already kicked myself several times.
We just have to pay more attention to the flags that are presented to us. Denial is the first step towards admittance. Admittance is the next step toward a better you.
autosurfs always scams, just learn it.
That all depends on what you consider a scam.
it’s expected. for hyip admins to profit, they ***MUST*** run away with their investors money. period. no comma, no if, no other ways around.
so be ready for more runners, it’s inevitable, it’s just the nature, the DNA of this kind of business.
i agree with Jude, why there will be no more autosurf program will ever reach the 12DP’s record? simply, because 12DP is the first, at that time scammers were not as many as now. we simply didn’t have records of scamming at that time and many people believed that 12DP were for real.
with current record of scammers, no autosurf will get a 100% confidence level from the net “investors :P”, therefore they’ll be forced to run earlier.
but still, some can still profit and the profit is huge (and so the risk..;) )
I hope it’s clear now to all members that autosurfing is nothing more then a ponzi game and that there is never a guarentee of your money.

Well he did give us a heads up on day1 that it was modelled on 12dailypro and what was that? I never saw him mention “income streams” lol so we all knew. What goes in goes out if its not going in as fast well …………

First and foremost I want to offer my commiserations to Dave Cannard. I know he will probably read here and on other popular sites.
But, I would also like to add that we did clash pens several months ago where I specifically warned Dave Cannard that he was digging a hole for himself and his system would ultimately fail.
Therefore, unless Dave Cannard is extremely naive with mathematics, he knew very well what he was heading towards.
It is unfair that many of his members have found themselves out of pocket but I would also like to add that these same members jumped to his defence during that clash of penmanship.
I don’t want to say I told you so or to rub it in. I guess I just have. Dave Cannard you must be shattered but now I fear for where this is going to end up for you.
We had 12DailyPro and now Studio Traffic drawing the attention of the FBI. I suspect you won’t escape there attention or get out of the radar. You got too big.
Well there is another surf “empire” that is putting itself out there and could if it hasn’t already attract attention of someone. I did hear they are taking their new sparkly moneychanger (PP) thing elsewhere so maybe they realised not sure.
In all this I do believe that Dave C didnt want it to end this way especially at this time of year, so yes I also wish him the best. There isnt too many perfect admins out there if any.
Of course I could be way off base as I was only a member of his programs and I am basing my opinion on that

I just wanted to add my two cents. I believed all of the hype in DadnDave’s and after the Stormpay Fiasco I went in with my money saying it couldn’t get any worse, but it did. Dave was just the carrot I didn’t need when I still could have gotten out with a few hundred lost.His delaying and delaying just made it worse. I am in 8 programs now which 5 pay on time. the other 1 is late paying, and 1 is new, and the other is a big ???(Wicked Hits). I lost over $5000 due to many paying once or twice then like magic, vanished. All the while surf monitors tell you “can’t miss” on the latest scam. They do their due dilligence, but it is a lie too. They are spitting out what is fed to them, and many , even when a program is in trouble, plead with us to stand behind the program. In reality, we leave even faster now because we used to stay and get burned, now we just go away. If a autosurf wants to stay afloat it has to be profitable from 1 to whatever surfers, it has to invest its money or be well funded, and lastly it has to run like a well oiled machine, no hiccups. Once it does, it will crash and burn (especially if it is ever compromised). In short, 2007 will have me spending less and less time in the autosurf world due to “honest admins” like Dave Cannard, and more time on my real business of vending machine placement and service. I expect a banner year for 2007, because real money beats fake money every day.
