You have to find an exchanger for your E-gold to load VMCard, which means its out of the picture as it’s costly to do so. The card looks really good though with the rest of the features, I might still consider reviewing it later.

For Chronocash, its cumbersome to even activate the card. (The instructions came in French). I have contacted their support via emails several times, but still haven’t got it activated. We’ll have to just give this card a miss if they don’t get back to my queries fast.

So there isn’t any good cards now for E-gold withdrawals? I miss my Gcard.

Ahh, I hoped for positive review on Cronocash as I was looking at them. But thanks for letting me know not to buy one :)
I think there are no reliable cards at the moment. I am waiting for Cash-evo to issue new cards, which they promissed for Feb

I’ve ordered the Chronocash card myself 3 days ago, still not delivered.
French ? Ok since it’s my native language :-) Let me know if you need some help to translate instructions.

I have a VM Card and I\’m very happy with it. Although NOT really recommended you can setup an ACH transfer to the card directly from a processor that will do so. I\’m a member of the \’CEP Group of Companies\’ ;) and, for a $3 charge they\’ll load my card. Taking my money out, well, it\’s $4.50 a transaction (bloodsuckers) but what\’cha gunna do. Right?

      Hi Jude/Everyone ;o)

      Do you know of cashcardsinternational.net?

I’m told they have been around for some time but I I can’t find any good recommendations.

Anyone out there with a good word (or otherwise)?

Mike, I asked e-forexgold about their card and they said it was also affected by the issue - and is not available now

I’ll get back again as I have just activated the cards, seem like those cards don’t really deal with E-gold, but rather an exchanger feeding the funds into the cards (which means extra cost).

Sorry I did not know about eForex, I thought that was an independent card, anyway here are a few alternatives, some you may already know:

      27-01-2007 18:01:43 206 $ 200 $ EGOLD Standby

Dont know exactly how much time they need to fund the card, lets see I can wd tomorrow morning :-)

I think I finally found a great card. RevoCash offers alot of loading options. They don’t offer paypal, however they offer a payment processor called ewallet which is used by well established payment processor. It is painless to register your bank account with ewallet and make deposits in and out via your bank account. RevoCash charges a 3% loading fee for e-gold with ewallet and $20 for a debit card. I really think this is the card I have been looking for. Check it out. Cheap card, low loading fees and an easy way method to load your card.

Revo sounds familiar, seem to have gone through the website before.

OK :-) card loaded during the night and just cashed out this morning at the first ATM around. I was a bit worried since there is just the Star logo on the card, but all went fine and the money is right into my hands :-)

Damien, is there any indication on your account to tell you that the card has been loaded?

    17. Gravatar Icon 17 damien

yes, but you have to log into your “principal” account here: https://admin.chronocash.com/
The first transaction you will see is the 6$ monthly fee deduction lol
I’ve received a confirmation by email too.

I’ve just gotten it as well, lol. We’ll test it out with the withdrawal maybe tomorrow.

Loading takes close to 24 hours on this one (weekend?)
