It has been quite a long time since DesertSkyMarketing has risen from its ashes. “Just another ponzi-surf that wants to rob people again”, we can say with ease. But a history and a present of this surf is somehow interesting.
Lets make a quick history lesson. Who watched this surf from the beginning can switch to sixth paragraph.
It started on the last day of July, when the company (yes, its built on LLC incorporation) was founded in Arizona. It looked like another surf, which has some income streams from advertising. My personal feeling was the same like with some other surfs. Bullshit with income streams to get inside some money, start ponzi-ing, and then later collect money and disappear. Doing some research/DD I might have been wrong. Dustin (admin) was running MyAZPix.com - a pixel marketing site. Mmm okay, but it’s really not much (as from the point of income) and moreover today it is not alive anymore. DSM concept was built on fixed percentage yield for members (2.5% for 60 Days). Other income was made from paid manual-surfing (about 20 pages). That was interesting, because you could see in that manually surfed pages that real companies (even though they were all e-commerce) ordered an advertising from DSM. The yield wasn’t high, but it was still fixed - therefore too strange to be real.
In November it bit the dust (or Dustin
). All members were refunded their deposits + 10% of income. As far as I know, there had been no unpaid members. It was nice from admin to admit that his surf will collapse and start refunds.
Now lets see how things are going nowadays.
DSM reopened on the beginning of 2007. The concept has been modified. Now it is more like a profit-sharing model. Daily yield may vary, yet it has been 10% ever since it has been reopened. Everyday you should surf around 15 manually browsed pages and then 25 pages automatically. The next day you will be credited your yield. Your upgrade can bring you 120% and then also expires, no sooner. So in fact, you don’t have to surf every day, if you can’t or whatever. You can also get your cash out daily.
So back to the present, lets share with you some of my opinions of nowadays DSM.
We can look at DSM from two directions: 1st - a ponzi rotating money, 2nd - autosurf based on some real incomes with support of rotating money or 3rd (yes, should be only 2) working autosurf with real incomes sharing its profit.
If it is a ponzi it has a lot of space and time to live for a while. Upgrades per day are constantly rising and today are around $100000. Lets say 30% are new money. But the other 70% he doesn’t have to pay anyway, if nobody wants the money to be cashed out. So hundred thousand incoming money a day. Thats a lot to keep a surf alive. Admin promotes about a dozen of MLMs/surfs where he apparently has some (even 10s of) referrals. Some of them look interesting in his words.
If it is a part ponzi it has even more space. When bad times come it can rotate money and when come good times it can pay from profits (if there are some). If it is real (yeah i have some doubts (small) that it really can be real) its somehow working at the moment.
There are some more questions which are really hard to answer. If its ponzi like other 99% of surfs, why would anyone bother to - establish a LLC? Yeah, maybe to gain trust. But who knows? It is simple to trace him if you know real name of a scammer (or should be). If it is not producing profits, why all members of DSM 1 were refunded with a profit? Maybe to gain trust again. To prepare a field for a big scam? These are just too many ifs, only time will tell…
Please share your opinions with me.

I have known Dust as an online friend for a while and this man proves to be honest.
Yes I lost a lot in other programs, it is always back to the drawing board but I have faith in DSM2.
That is not to say DSM2 is fool prove, nor a sure win… one thing I can be sure of (who knows may be it will bite me in the rear later on), is that, Dust is not a scammer.
Keep in mind, NOT being a scammer does not mean a 100% fool proof businessman.
So like the old golden rule says (yah yah yah), Invest what you can afford to lose…and if you do invest, get back the principle (seeds) at a reasonable rate….
that is what I am doing…
Is Dust a scammer? NO, definately not.
Is DSM2 doing very well? YES, as of 2/26/2007.
Will DSM2 fail one day? May be… yes….
When? My guess? at least a year or 2 from now.
You be the Judge…

I didn’t say he is a scammer. I was generally speaking. I personally think he will not scam anyone. It just don’t go (easily) together without anonymity.
I know him too from some other private discussion forum.
But I am rather skeptic.
I am now having weird feelings about DSM. I am a VIP member and VIP members should receive their cashouts in 1 business day.
In the last e-mail Dustin said that he was going to use a masspay script to pay e-gold withdrawals each morning.
I have a cashout request from Feb 28th still pending. I sent a support ticket but still have not received an answer.
I’m starting to get worried.
