A month ago Jude told you about Just Pays Daily domain getting hacked. There is a lot more to the story. Apparently the CEO of Registerfly.com, Kevin Medina, stole all of the HYIP domains and redirected them to a HYIP site with a trojan on it. Mr. Medina was fired as CEO for fraud, embezzlement and a host of other offences. You can read the whole story at BusinessWeek.

Today Mr. Medina appeared before a US District Court in Newark, New Jersey, to face the allegations. He filed a counterclaim against John Naruszewicz, part owner, for firing him on February 12th. Mr Medina claimed that Mr. Naruszewicz didn’t have authority to fire him. Get this… the judge, in his infinite wisdom, sided with Mr. Medina and reinstated him as CEO!!

200,000 customers are now at risk of losing their domains, because ICANN is considering revoking Registerfly’s accreditation and/or taking them to court. (Read about what ICANN is doing here.) 75,000 customers have already jumped ship. Check out registerflies.com, a forum set up a year ago to discuss Registerfly’s woes, for more information and downloadable court documents. The forum also contains help with changing domain registrars, if you happen to own a site registered with Registerfly.

What a mess! This impacts the HYIP world in a big way. Registerfly accepts egold as payment, so it has been a favorite among HYIPs. Look for your favorite programs to report changes and possibly some downtime while they change registrars and maybe servers, too.

Jude, I tried my best to explain to you that there was a mess with RegisterFly at HYIP Discussion. I guess this was the only truth to the JP Daily fraud saga.

I think that judge needs to have his brain examined, open up and thrown

away. And replaced with a PIG’s brain………………. LOL

ICANN or other authorities should take action immediately.
