A week or so ago Richard, JPD admin, hinted that a site was about to run in his farewell to JPD notice. A few sites were speculated as the probable runner. U-Pie was one of the forerunners in the speculation. They are now done, stick them with a fork. (I am just speculating that U-Pie was the site Richard was insinuating, since they are the one that folded and another blogger had enough information to say that it was 100% U-Pie.)

There are reports of not being paid for 9 days now in the forums. However, the biggest signal that they have flown the coop is that they have removed their own forum. Sites that have forums are good, because communication among members and administration is usually faster. Plus issues can be discussed. (Some program forums remove all controversial and/or negative posts, so if you’re looking in from the outside, don’t take what you read as the gospel truth.) Sites that remove their own forums do so on their way out. They want to stifle the free communication and especially the speculating on issues, like not paying.

Last month Jude warned about U-Pie. I hope that those of you that were in it were able to save some funds, due to the warning. Lately I’ve been reading about bloggers and their alleged intentions for posting warnings. I can assure you that here at NoBS HYIP Blog Community we strive to break news (good and bad), give advice and voice our opinions without a hidden agenda. (Yes, we do give you our referral links when we’re in a program and reporting it. However, the primary focus is on giving you information.) We do not wish to see the downfall of any program due to our words. The sad reality is that when something fails, it’s easier to blame others than to take responsibility for the failure. Our hope is that you enjoy your stay, learn something new and/or get involved in any of our lively comment discussions.

I got this from the Proven Paying Programs forum:

      Date 3/11/2007:
“My e-gold exchange didn’t come in yesterday [expected Fri 9th or Sat 10th] as I had expected and I now fear that there may be something going on behind the scenes that not even I am aware of. I have been informed that the US government is looking into certain issues surrounding U-PIE. Upon contacting the SEC I received no response and it looks like I will have to wait until Monday to learn more.

I have been informed by my lawyer that I may be required to “kick out” all Americans from the program. Doesn’t make much sense to me being American myself but we will have to see. Hopefully I will manage to get everything sorted out Monday morning and get everything back to normal by mid-week. I will post more information as it becomes available.

      Voltaire”

I am not invested in U-PIE.

I saw that as well in HYIPDiscussion from member HYIPSupport. It’s hard to believe that what Voltaire has mentioned though.

HomePage and forum are gone. Looks like they have gone feet up. :-(

      From Slappy at Private HYIPs:

“At the time, I too thought the meeting in Canada with Levaz was very unusual in that the guy running upie claimed he didn’t know it was a dd meeting. Are you kidding me? The meeting was set up ahead of time specifically to be a dd meeting. It was to verify his identity, residence, proof of trading….. And he claimed he didn’t know that? He also showed up without any type of ID. I was waiting till after that meeting to invest and once Levaz posted what happened, there was no way upie was getting any of my money.”

I think anyone paying attention would have seen this for what it was. But who am I to judge? I was blinded by riches as well.

      I’m learning a lot though. :)

If you think about that meeting without showing a proof, lying in its banner and now these recent news… I think that Voltaire is lying to all members and this program is only a ponzi, I hope to be wrong.
