It’s been a while since Bob Krimm bought out XLO and The Finer Things (TFT) closed. Since Bobby has been so much in the news lately, it’s fitting that Andy’s farewell would come this week (a little late, but good timing.)
After months of testing systems - some wins some losses - more losses than wins - I have some to the conclusion that if I cannot offer a program that would have an acceptable level of risk and return.
To gain decent returns one HAS to take risks - otherwise what is offered is not within the realm of a HYIP - it is gettable by most anyone prepared to put in the time to learn trading systems.
Having wiped out my account twice in the last few weeks I am not comfortable leaving everyone hanging in case I do get something together.
Additionally personal circumstance is such that I will be withdrawing from HYIPS and autosurfs. This is not “running away” - it is for personal/family reasons.
I will leave the forum up for 24/48 hours so that everyone who needs to be able to read this message gets a chance to.
I wish all of you the very best.
Andy
I’m sure than many can empathize with his HYIP adventure. I’ve been there myself. Those that are still angry with him won’t be able to empathize. I can only do so, because I never put money in XLO or TFT.

I’m all choked up…..
Andy certainly doesn’t deserve any empathy, sympathy, etc. Yeah, I lost some money in TFT, but that was never the point - and Andy’s ego and self-interest never allowed for him to see that. I’m sure he’s still pretty fat from what he took out of TFT….
I don’t think anyone of integrity/character will view this as anything but positive. Unless of course he’s just saying the “Andy” identity is retiring and some new identity will resume leading more sheep to slaughter….
woah, that’s blunt, but it might be true
Scott,
It sounds like you’re pretty bitter. I can understand that. Also, you would know more than I would, since you were there and I wasn’t. Thank you for your post!
JMO,
Sharon
You must be joking…Andy is a biggest thief, liar, scammer if there ever was one.He is up there with Rog,Benjamin Navarro and rest of “honest”..”friendly folks we had honour to meet.
He stole the TFT money…he didnt loose it like he said he did…Then when he
allready knew that doom was approaching he still accepted payments into his ponzi machine. He should have stopped accepting money in December and he didnt. Then at least 20th…he didnt…then on 26th the big annoucement came.
Then in January he sells XLO with members funds still inside without even telling them.I understand XLO was his he can d
Yo whatever he wants with it but say a week earlier he should have given members a chance to opt out before selling it to Bob Krimm.
Based on good “reputation” I invested 4k into TFT in December……gone in
thin air…Guess my money was used to pay someone from November or to
buy new fog lights for his BMW.
I spit on Tdinoz too.He was Andys little “Lapdog” like someone somewhere wrote and was leading people on like a sheep to a slaughter house. His
words have no merit he is a scumbag same as Andy is.
I hope they both get what they deserve. To make things worse Andy is playing some self-righteous ignorant role and acting like nothing happened.
He should be thrown to jail.
I totally agree with the above post…
A scumbag, nothing else….
Made deposits in late december 2006 too… Even got a comforting and assuring e-mail from Andy, telling me my funds “are very safe at TFT”!!
The most disturbing part was the “cult-like” atmosphere at the TFT-forum: Members praising Andy like he could do nothing wrong!
I guess those members are a bit wiser now, LOL!
Andy: We don’t need a farewell from you…
Just go quietly, thank you.
Yeah, this was my first HYIP. I even posted I hope I don’t become a chump on my first attempt. Two weeks later, even after all the “your in a safe place” here posts from hundreds of members, wham, the hammer fell.
Welcome to the blog nelson. You will learn that hyipers are lemmings. One cheers I am paid, they all cheer I am paid! One invests, they all invest. One says a hyip is good, they all say its good. The good thing about this blog is, that you will find more sceptical people here. Sceptical people who dont believe a thing in hyip world, tend to have better advise then others.
Jens: Yes, you should see the replies to my interview, it’s REALLY REALLY scary.
I, for one am sad to see Andy go. I did very well with XLO (after all it did run for over a year).
I would trust my money more with Andy than Bob Krimminal.
I never put money into XLO and I made money in TFT, but my last withdrawal was in August. So Andy didn’t really hurt me.
However, one has to wonder, with the $25k that Bob paid for XLO what Andy might have been able to do with it had he known some people who were decent–not even spectacular–traders. So much could be done with $25k.
Andy had amassed a very strong contingent of people. Yes, he DID pay for over a year. What truly happened, only he really knows. I have always believed in supporting good admins. And good admins can have things go badly.
But he has to be held responsible for continuing to accept money when he knew things were not going to work. And he has to be held responsible for failing to do something productive with that $25k that could have made his TFT members whole.
Although I walked away in profit in TFT I totally believe he made out like a bandit on closing and selling it when he did. Enough said.
Yes,what a cheap scammer. Totally agree with Jens, Ron and ScottT posts above. Indeed a sick scumbag.
I visit the NOBS blog pretty regularly and rarely post, but seeing “Andy’s” grandstanding farewell was too much….
Sharon, I really don’t mean to sound bitter. It’s just that if he resurfaces I think it’s important to remind folks that his actions, not his words, is what defines him. I was not involved in XLO, only TFT, so I cannot specifically speak to it’s early successes. However, I did witness the “meltdown” that he engineered involving both and it really could be bottled and later used to induce vomiting…..
Jens, I’m with you - just go away “Andy” - please….
Hi ScottT,
I should have worded my comment better. What I meant to say was, “Thank you for letting us know what happened from an inside viewpoint!” Also, please feel free to post more often.
Everyone: Thank you for posting your experience! It helps in case “Andy” ever tries to come back on the scene.
JMO,
Sharon
I just want to add that after re-reading the comments here and on other articles, it looks like I missed the boat on this one. I am sorry that this appears that I let Andy off the hook. I am wrong. My apologizes to all those that lost money in TFT and XLO. (Although, I believe that XLO blame rests with both Andy and Bob Krimm.)
JMO,
Sharon
My first investment $100 in TFT on December.
and gone with the wind.
ANDY is a great actor
Man oh Man…Andy, Andy, Andy…Ya got me partner… I thank God I brought so much money home in November…But all that December money..Hmmmm Hmmmmm It was going to be $16k,,,,Man oh Man….Be safe dude…And and don’t worry about us….WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF….
All I can say is TRUST but VERIFY. Go in with BOTH your eyes OPEN or you may lose your pants and house.
ANDY from TF - is a very cunning SCAM ARTIST. a very good one at that because he got all the members kissing his ass while he slowly walk away with their money.
How the members got to that stage is beyond me. So naive ……… I guess they are blinded by GREED.
HE IS NOTHING BUT A LOW-LIFE THIEF AND A SCUM-BAG ! ! !
I hope ANDY drops DEAD somewhere in the states. LOL !
What still amazes me more is (not just with this programs) for years when a program shows up on the scene, someone hit the nail on the head when they spoke of the “cult like” following in all the forums. As if any program will be here 10 years from now still making their members happy. NOT.
I got in TFT in the first month and got out after the first cycle, not with a lot, but I did profit. I thought about a 2nd or 3rd cycle as he clearly stated he wanted to remain open for a year, but dismissed that option for the same reason.
All I can say is to the “cult like” followers of a program, don’t shoot others for expressing concerns, just remember that one day you will be on the receiving end of the “I told you so”
I hope I can express my opinion here along the lines of the name of this blog, NoBS.
Here goes. Andy (probably not his real name) is nothing more than a predator. What I mean by predator is: One that victimizes, plunders, or destroys, especially for one’s own gain. He lives by the same morals and principles as child molesters; the only difference is his victim pool (a child molester’s victim pool is obviously children and Andy’s victim pool were for the most part, desperate people who were looking for a way to provide for themselves and their families, THE FINER THINGS.) I agree that some were in it for greed, but not most. I remember one member who joined after 12×12 blew up who was currently undergoing chemotherapy. Some might say it was only a ploy, but this person had her own website up for sometime before she ever joined Andy’s scam empire in which she discussed the trials and tribulations she was going through regarding having advanced cancer and undergoing chemotherapy. She joined and made deposits in December 2006, with this predator knowing full well he was not only going to not provide ANY earnings, but he was going to keep every cent. What kind of a human being could do this? This man is truly evil. I was sickened to read his final FU message; trying to portray himself as a victim.
He was just waiting for the right time to do what he did and the collapse of 13DP and 12×12 provided that for him. Many people flocked to both of his scam sites and invested heavily because they believed, “Andy is the only honest admin around and we are safe with him”. This man was a pathological liar. He had no partners and had no investments or other dealings. He was running two ponzi’s and probably investing to the max in 13DP and 12×12 with multiple accounts.
I agree with comments about the cult-like following. What is really sad and sickening is that it is still going on. He has got his Megan_d who pops up whenever anyone dares to say anything other than glowing praises about her predator pal Andy. Its funny anything she posts she always tries to move the spotlight off of her scammer pal onto Bob from Tri-Star. HELLO, the post is about your predator/scammer pal Andy not Bob from Tri-Star. Before anyone accuses me of being a Bob/TriStar follower, I am not now or ever was, in Tri-Star. I could care less that Andy ran a site for a year and announced to the world he failed with TFT. He did try to get more money from people with his Private Placement deal. When he realized that people were not going to bite, he abandoned the idea. So with that he could not use a coma, car accidents, e-gold hacking, etc as excuses because he wanted to get everyone’s last dime before doing his disappearing act and to do that he could not use the coma, car accident, get hacked, etc excuses. Another one that sickens me is that tdinoz person. Oh yea she has a blog and frequents every site night and day and posts comments that are illegible and the sentence structure is horrid. Do both of you realize why Andy choose you to moderate his forum? You both are obviously missing something big in your lives that this predator picked up on. I can only guess that he somehow filled that hollow hole inside of both of you and both of you have such empty lives that you accept any morsel of attention you can get and become fiercely loyal to that predator. I only hope that in the end, predator Andy filled your coffers with a lot of gold as payment for your misguided and twisted loyalty. I am also sickened beyond words that a forum, which touts itself as The Safe List, gave Andy a platform and forum space to plead his case. This is how deep this cult like behavior has become.
Andy if you are reading this, you can run but eventually someone is going to find you, be it someone whose life you destroyed, the authorities (and yes there have been numerous complaints filed) or a higher power. I personally would prefer that the authorities get you and prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law and have you locked up for a long time. The wheels of justice turn very slowly, but they eventually do turn whether it is during a person’s lifetime or in the so-called after life. No one escapes.
Enjoy your ill-gotten gains while you can.
Kim, I enjoyed reading your opinion on Andy. I would have to agree on the part where he doesn’t do anything with the funds apart from running a ponzi to pay everything off.
The conversations and the interview which I conducted with him gives me a clear picture of him running a ponzi rather than investing it in any other avenues to give returns to his investors.
Still, it’s gone and we have to move on, thanks for sharing with us.
