If you were a member of 9PlanetNoSurf, then you probably watch(ed) 9PlanetReviews for any refund news. Normally I read 9PlanetReviews as part of my daily reading, but not for much longer. Here’s a run down of this week’s updates:
Tuesday, 03/20/07 – John posts an email from one of his disgruntled former customers. First, John’s response to the emailer sickened me by how degrading it was. To add insult to injury, John has the audacity to post the emailer’s name and email address!! Shame on you, John!
Wednesday, 03/21/07 – John posts that he’s down to only $500 for the remaining refunds and that is after he kicked in $5,000 of his own money. He asked those waiting for their 38.9% refunds for 6 more months. I don’t know about you, but when I’m waiting for a payout of any kind, 6 months seems like forever.
Thursday, 03/22/07 – John miraculously finds $43K! He can resume refunds. How does one accidentally forget about $43K? I would love to have so much money that I’d forget about several thousand dollars! Here’s his update:
MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT! Woah! and Woooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooooo!
I was just consolidating the various e-gold accounts I had set up and… and FOUND a whopping 43K in e-gold IN ONE THAT I RARELY USED! I just knew something was wrong, as there are more folks to pay out!
Am LAUGHING MY HEAD OFF!
Haha! Good news for all those folks still owed their 38.9%!
Am happy as punch!
Can you imagine my elation? HOLY COW! and … my GOD! Spread the news!
REFUNDS CONTINUING UNTIL THAT IS EXHAUSTED!
Guess what? The account is labeled as SAFETY in my notebook! Safety indeed!
Sigh… suddenly the pressure is MUCH lower!
Ok, so… be patient… it will take me a few days to pay all that out!

Let me add one more tidbit to show how unprofessional John is at times. Last month he published a private conversation between Jude and an admin, which had absolutely nothing to do with John. The admin had emailed it to John. Not only did he publish it without saying a word to Jude, he didn’t even edit out Jude’s full name. As you can tell, I’m pretty ticked off at John right now.
What do you think about these developments? Happy, mad or could care less?

$43K!? Makes me wanna say hmm…..
Well, my thought is that this is not very professional. There is never a valid reason to post a person’s private information, conversations, pictures of their family, etc on the internet unless its to law enforcement or something like that. And that would be very confidential.
I wonder if I might have a forgotten egold account somewhere too. LOL

What I think about this?
I’m a newbie (3 months) - fresh from the real world, and the no. 1 issue I’ve noticed in this hyip-cyber-circus, is a very scary lack of “sense of reality” among many people participating in this. This goes for hyip/surf admins, bloggers, forum-owners, hyip/surf participants etc.
The admins need much more business-sense…It’s not enough to be a pc/programmer vizard. Just look at DSM and 4 Newb. & Lucreshares recently…
Back to JS: Maybe he’s circling around the 9 planets somewhere!

For me the issue is about booking this people . [greed can destroy the best intentions]
If not me and you and the bloggers and monitors can open daily a surf/hyip/matrix. Close it down after 19days . Pocket thousands. Pay the losers 38.9% of their principal back and then we can all live happily ever ………
Yes, they will not fool all of us. They should be hunted down for what they are. If not charged they should at least hide in shame.
jannie, this was a game, it was clearly promoted as such. I am sorry, but when you get into one of these, don’t complain later when it goes south.
You want know what is so interesting? I am having a tough time promoting a real HYIP and people jump on me when I try and promote it. But then when it comes to HYIPs like JP Daily (7 scams so far) and these games people easily beat a path to my door.

LOL! It was not my intention to even hint at trying to promote any program.
I was just trying to make a point. If I was trying to promote a ponzi I would get people to signup like “there was no tomorrow.”
