It’s official, no one who was waiting for refunds from GG-Investments and Just Pays Daily Will ever get a dime:

    From Richard O’Neil (with love):

I am not gone… hosting has expired that’s all.
When I have a website to put online I will do so and update you here… The money is coming - going to take bloody ages, but as soon as its made. You will be paid again.

I have some new projects in the pipeline and when they pay - you start getting paid. And once we have enough money to kick start JP again - it will happen.

JP was never a scam.. it was an honest attempt that went bad through a few mistakes I made with the best of intentions. Many of you don’t believe that and/or are angry at me and all the rest of it - but I tried. I warned you of the risk and told you to invest sensibly the whole time - but nobody ever listens to that. So now we’re all in a loss and we have to live with it… So for you move on or whatever and for me - I will keep trying until something works really good for me and I have enough money to refund JP and then happy days for everyone.

But I don’t think gambling is the answer.

If there are any legal personell around.. perhaps it will be possible to sue Bet365 for permitting me to gamble on such an unprecidented scale… As mid-way through last year I contacted their support and asked them to ban me from ever playing again.. but they said that they can close my account but I would be able to reopen it again whenever I want.
Surely that is not a good thing and doesn’t comply with responsible gaming laws and whatever… but I don’t know anything. I can’t shift the blame over to anybody other than myself. But I have a gambling problem - and this company has not helped me stop gambling. So perhaps if that is found to be unlawful and irrisponsible.. the possibility is there to sue them and that money can pay your refunds.

But I don’t know anything about law. So I don’t know where to begin. So I really can’t do anything about it at the moment. I will just keep trying to make money through other avenues until something comes good.

I will check back when I have more news.

Now, as if this wasn’t bad enough, Richard wants to sue the casino to get his money back? LOL!

I don’t feel sorry for those who lost their 25% balance they handed Richard because, from the start of his past lies, I tried to get everyone onboard to go get him. No one wanted to get together to do a damn a thing.

The way I see it: Richard left with $500,000 and a 25% going away bonus. Just like a CEO of a multinational corp.

Update: A very important point. He wanted us to invest sensibly but at the same time rigging the daily updates making it look like he was $400,000 in the black (that’s an average of about a $900,000 balance). How sensibly did he want people to be? If he had come out and said back in October of 2006 that he was in the red, would anyone have lost the amount of money that they eventually did? No. But a scamming lowlife always wants to put blame elsewhere.

Richard isn’t going to pay?! Even after some people deposited an additional 25%?!

      Imagine my shock! 8-O

I was never in this program, but can’t help notice how much you sound like Andy of TFT.

The blame is always shifted to the investors for risking too much.

All Richard (and Andy, for that matter) has to do is fully realize that he is a generally intelligent fellow who had a prolonged bout of sheer idiocy, which it appears has extended into the present, considering that a) he believes an appeal to a pathological state (”I have a gambling problem”) is an explanation sufficient to excuse or neutralize his behavior, or that b) the failure of JPD and the financial woe that resulted is not so much the fault of his half-truths, outright lies, and otherwise miscellaneous array of duplicitious BS as it is the money-hungry membership, Or that c) his rampant self-deprecation and supposed ignorance (”I tried”, “I asked Bet365 to ban me”, “I don’t know anything”, “I don’t know where to begin”) somehow negates his responsibility for what he has done or allowed to occur.

Sorry Dick - the fact is that you are a scammer in full possession of his faculties. No matter that you may have had good intentions (questionable), intend to pay members back after “bloody ages” (a nice, precise estimate there), etc. You fudged numbers, you misled members, you led people down the primrose path to a dung heap, rubbed their faces in it and walked away saying you didn’t mean to lead them there and that you admit you took a wrong turn awhile back but wanted everyone to think you were leading them in the right direction.

One thing you can console yourself with, though: at least you sent out a post telling your former members you were sorry and that you would try to make it up to them before they’re dead. Sure it’s all garbage, but Andy from The Finer Things didn’t even put forth that level of effort.

Well I am glad that Richard cleared that one up for me because I was stupidly blaming him for being a compulsive liar and cheat. In fact it seems to be that we are all at fault for believing him!!!!

Well that is one of the most entertaining posts that I have read for some time. His blaming bet365 for his lack of control is like an alchoholic blaming a whiskey distillery for his excessive drinking. I guess tricky dicky has not quite got his head round the concept of personal responsibility yet.

well ironicly yesterday I was wondering how come I never heard anything anymore about JPdaily and I noticed the website expired. I was going to ask Jude for more info, but then I got into a pretty bad car accident. But unlike admins who always end up in the hospital…I am fine thanks, just my car is as good as total loss. Thanks for the info nelson that JPdaily is dead and burried.

JPdaily may be dead and buried but Richard is not. He’ll return for another bite of the forbidden fruit. Keep those HYIP Spidey senses on full alert!

Oh, almost forgot. I’m glad you’re OK, makila! Hope your accident wasn’t cell phone related. One of my pet peeves! >:-( grrrrr
