I read that they stopped payments yesterday already. I am not surprized. I dont think wiredsurf are real scammers and dirtbags, well not the worst kind.. Okay, they did took the site down and put money in their own pockets but no true scammer would return under the same nicknames and use the same website. It just doesnt work. So I dunno what was in these admins mind to relaunch the site? Maybe they really try their best, but an autosurf stays an autosurf. Ponzi, ponzi, ponzi! Nothing you can do even if you feel guilty for putting people into bad losses.
There’s nothing that makes an autosurf a ponzi per se - it’s just a hyip in a different shell after all. It’s just that most are badly run - returns are far too high, with no long term action plan in place for revenue generation.
If an autosurf had a plan that made them truly self-sufficient, by generating revenue in a consistent manner regardless of the amount of capital, then we wouldn’t see this great need to advertise and build up member numbers quickly. That in itself shows a weakness in the model I think, and is more about the way members and admins alike perceive and deal with autosurfs, as opposed to the autosurf concept being flawed. It isn’t, it just depends how it is done!
Profitshares seemed a step in the right direction initially, but now I am not so sure. If you are paying the xx% out daily, then how can you use any funds to generate revenue from the capital, since it is always on the move? In the end, it would seem that as members put their returns back into the program, it becomes just the same as compounding, using the same money over and over. Maybe I’m wrong…
One of the first autosurf ever was autohits.dk, they launched in 2001 and are 6years old. And guess what? They still exist. Why? Because they are not paying out a single cent to people, thats why! You can autosurf, and promote your own sites there and pay for upgrades to recieve more credits. Autosurfs were originally not created to give us any returns at all. They were created as an advertise/promotion tool for normal people that cant afford to advertise on their own. Its as simple as that.
If they have these revenue generators in place, why create a Debt based business such as an Autosurf, or hyip to drain their profits away?
AutoSurfs and HYIPs in their selves do not make money, they are a debenture against any viable business.
It is ludicrous to believe any one of these programs has any real business behind it. Even if it does, it wont last long due to the inability to do the simple math of one of these programs.
Why have a successful business profit’s drained away from it by one of these programs, it just does not make logical, or business, sense.
Now to combat people who state they are using the money to start a business, or enhance their existing business, well then show me your plan. It is called a prospectus.
I agree with you there. If a hyip or autosurf did have a viable business behind it, they would be able to disclose at least the outline of what they do, even if not all the details.
As for why they would create something that drains their profits, I can think of a few reasons. As far as the internet goes, people are the most valuable commodity. I’m not saying it is common, but look at AGLOCO for example - a primary example of a good way to build a big mailing list, with the enticement of moneymaking to draw people in. Of course if they never actually launch, it won’t have been such a good example to use!
Another reason would be to build up more capital to trade with, and so being able to take a cut of all profits made from the higher capital. Yes, I know the counter-argument is why not just get a bank loan, but again it ties in with the point of the value of people. Again, it’s not the aim of 99% of sites because they don’t take the correct approach, but that isn’t to say it isn’t possible. Don’t let the reality of the situation tell you something isn’t possible - it is simply human greed that all too often gets in the way.
Well if I have to answer the question : Is it possible to launch an investment site and let it run for 20 years and refund everyone in full? Yes it is. Why doesnt it happen? Because
1. For every succesfull businessman, thousands of others fail.
2. 99% are scammers and dont have any intention to run for a long time
3. Even if you are not a scammer, your staff can be, your broker can be a scam, your payprocessor can be a scam, your offshore bank could be closed for scam..
4. In 20 years a lot can happen. A young trader marries, has other interests and move on with his/her life.
5. Even if the admin can refund 100%. Why would they?? When a refund has to happen, most often the greedyness overwhelms the staff, they think : why would we refund, if we can just grab the money and be rich for the rest of my life???

My main point about Surfs and HYIPs is this:
If they have these revenue generators in place, why create a Debt based business such as an Autosurf, or hyip to drain their profits away?
