If you really want to "separate" the tutorials from your normal blog posts, a new blog at a sub domain would be a good choice. It will allow you to really have a focused content for that blog (purely educational) but yet capitalise on the traffic that this blog is already getting from search engines, partners and not to forget your loyal readers. I would second Simon’s idea.
