FF has been having problems for a long time. They at the very least are poor (inept, inadequate, plain stupid) administrators that have invested in many losers.

When they first asked for funds to continue to subscribe to FF I knew it was downhill from there, and it has been. Any program that changes the rules in the middle of the game will almost always fail.

Pooling money is not a bad idea, look at the many investment clubs (money market, real estate, etc.) out there that have successfully invested and made good profits for their members. HYIP pooling can work as well, but the people involved need to follow thru on their DD, and diversify their investments as well.

All the members need to participate in decision making thru votes or whatever, and a consensuses is needed to proceed with an investment. The point is that FF did not follow-thru with intensive DD, and when signs of failure or impropriates first occurred, they did not pull funds or jump up and recheck the DD on the program. DD can also be done on a continual basis to make sure the information first received actually holds up.

Bottom line is, pooled money is better off run by the investors rather than individual administrators.

FF looked like a formular that finally worked. A pool of low yield and sustainable programs that were giving realic returns. If this formular is also doomed to fail than what formular is left, that is working for us? This is a indeed a sad day for the investment world of the internet.

Well. That’s not surprising either way. What is surprising is that FF lasted so long. Any site that exclusively depends on one digital currency is open to predators. Be it government or hackers or the digital e-currency owners. As for massing funds in one e-gold account well that’s just pure folly.

Feeder Fund has been with us for 4 years and has always been straight with us no matter what the news was. I don’t think they have a reason to lie about this.

I do think it was a poor decision to put funds into egold even as all these problems were going on around us.

But no need to second guess them now. The money is gone and there is little we can do about it.

It is very foolish to keep large amounts of money in an E-gold account, but it still is remotely possible FF management has told the truth, and have lost all funds because of the indictment. Too bad we cannot get any hard facts about this.

Matthew is an idiot or a scammer. It was perfectly clear that all of those scams, FXIG, ITS, FSI etc. won’t last forever. He either played in team with Fred Honea and the other scammers or was so blinded by his friendship with them and the commission payments he was getting.
I don’t buy even 1% of his story. He made millions from our money and now just looks for a clean exit.
The bottom line is yet another huge HYIP scam is gone forever and this is good.

The thing that annoys me is that he brings up the e-gold indictment as an excuse to not pay any cent any longer. Come on Matthew, who are you bulshitting? Just admit the money was already gone a long time ago, because you were scammed by the site-owners you trusted us our funds. There is really no need to make up some fake story. We all know what have happened to the programs inside FF, the additional excuses were unnecessary.

Matthew can stick his TOS in his ass. The money is gone, so whether we show respect for the TOS or not, it wont give us a single cent less or more. The program is closed, there is nothing more to say about it.

Its not directly his fault the programs in the pool closed one by one. I am sure if he launches another program, me or anyone else on the blog may give it another go. By posting this farewell his respect or reputation isnt damaged as far as I am concerned.

Posting the complete message here from FF’s site is violating their terms of service, unless the one posting it is not a member of FF.

What a coincidence. Exactly the same month FF is going to pay out its members the US government targets e-gold, freezes FF’s e-gold account and steals all the members money. WOOOOW!!!!

What are the chances of this to happen? The government must have had a crystal ball and knew exactly when FF would fully load their e-gold account and hit them at the exact right moment OR FF was extremely unlucky and got hit by the 1 chance out of a billion disaster.

Frankly its hard for me to swallow that part of Matthew’s story.
But he is right, our money is gone. And there is nothing we can do about it. This is indeed a sad end to a great program. R.I.P.
