I once transferered 5000$ from a US bankaccount to my personal bankaccount. This was just one big wire. They charged almost 50$ additional wire fees for that amount and they only returned like 4900$. Err? where did the other 50$ go? Well...Not only does my bank charge wire fees, the bank sending the money charged them as well!
International wire fees cannot be avoided and differs from bank to bank. Some are ridicule.

Yes we added coments regarding possible intermediary deduction which is of course beyond our control and it does not matter if you will exchange with icegold, or londongoldexchange - this Intermediary deduction will apply in all cases !!

We do not charge any bank fees upon receipt, if payment is sent with SHA bank instruction (shared bank fees - you pay your bank fees, we pay our bank fees). Depending on how a bank wire is routed, payments from some countries may attract additional fees charged by correspondent and intermediary banks. Even though our bank does not charge incoming fees, the correspondent bank fees may be deducted before the amount is received.

There may be fees deducted upon receipt of the bank wire in your bank. Depending on how an international bank wire is routed, payments to some countries may attract additional fees charged by correspondent and intermediary banks. These fees may be deducted from the amount received. Larger banks in general do not use correspondent and intermediary banks, however this is not a rule.

Be aware that people in the USA may incur additional fees, besides the 3.5% and the $20 wire fee quoted above.

Using them recently, the wire was timely, but it was $28 less than quoted. Apparently intermediary bank fees were taken before it got to my bank.

I feel slighted the $28, because of the way they represented their fees. I made them aware of this. To date I have not been reinbursed.

They said they would add a disclaimer on their site explaining possible additional fees. Hopefully they also make this clear in future posts and interviews.

Be aware that if you are in the USA you may have extra fees taken from the wires this company sends before it reaches you.
Their only $20 wire fee to anywhere statement is misleading.
My recent and only exchange with them was $28 short. It apparently was due to unexpected intermediary bank wire fees. They seem to have sent the correct amount of wire, but sent it with permission to take any intermediary bank fees out of the amount sent.
I was under the impression that I would only be paying the $20 and 3.5% quoted. I was not made aware of any possible additional costs. It was not a good suprise.
I feel slighted the $28 because of how they represented their fees. I have made them aware of this. I gave them the opportunity to make it right. They have declined to date.

They said they will add a disclaimer to their site about potential fees that can reduce the amount received. Hopefully they will also make this clear in future forum or blog posts and interviews.

One of the best exchangers I have ever tried.
Very proffesional cheap fast and if you have problem, their support is excellent. But be carefull sometimes they require strong verification - read Terms.

Can recommend!!

According to Romik, e-bullion inexchanges would be available within 2 weeks but I notice they already enabled it today.

This means for the first time in 7 years the EU has a cheap e-bullion exchanger. This was a gap in the e-bullion market that was never filled but because of the recent e-gold problems we can finally say that gap is now closed. :)

Dear customers, we have temporarily stopped e-gold outexchanges. We will resume outexchanges in 2-5 Days again or when we are in a need of e-gold ourselves.
