      Disgusting.

I’d like to second Winter. And I think they are trying to drain E-gold’s resources so that they can’t fight back.

Id like to tell egold a huge..
      I TOLD YOU SO !!!
Just weeks before this US money grab, I strongly advised egold to get completely out of the US.. They answered me in an arrogant fashion and seemed to remain in denial of the dangers dispite what has already happened to others. Compliance with all laws is of no use, along with “legal advice”. Ive seen more companies ruined due to relying on their attorney’s word that all was well.

Well now they are scrambling - and omnipay is setting up in Africa.

      Idiots!

so they will never give the money back?

It was only about the release of e-Gold before the trial begins. That was denied.

The money from the gold sales, which was somewhere between $11 and $16 million USD, is being held by the government pending the outcome of the case. If you look at the NETeller case, the defendants worked a deal with the gov and eventually their ‘held’ funds (approx $55mil) were released back to clients. However, I feel the likelihood of that happening in e-gold’s case is unlikely. Neither the gov or e-gold seem at present to be looking for a plea arrangement.

It is also rumored that OmniPay is now having a very hard time opening up a bank account to set up the Africa operation. I can’t confirm anything even banks outside of the US will still have an intermediary or correspondent bank connection with the US. That connection could cause problems for the bank working with OmniPay, currently charged in this case. Banks are scared to work anyone that potentially could cause frozen or seized accounts, and or the loss of their correspondent banking arrangement. This is just a rumor but its very plausible.
I wish I had better news.

Remember, the government has abdicated responsibility for our monitary system to the Federal Reserve, a private group whos only purpose is to rape and pillage the American public.

What they do could and should be done by OUR government for billions per year less.

So who is really pulling the strings.

I agree with BigMike. Egold offers many people a fantastic way of safeguarding there money while also giving the little guy an opportunity to go into business on the internet as well as invest a little gold from time to time into different programs. I have personally made a lot of money thanks to pay systems such as egold and it is a shame that the US goverment never thought of something like this. I hope that egold wins in the end.

I think we all agree with BigMike and look for a positive outcome. Let me note the the denial here, in this hearing, does not effect the outcome of the case. Its just one aspect of the legal positioning.

If you feel this is an injustice and you don’t like it, join us here, http://egold.crowdvine.com/ and voice your opinion, it counts.

I have had the dubious distinction of having a business in the Sixth Circuit Court for 6 (SIX) years. Finally reached an agreement granting our business a financial reward. It was a sickening experience due to the ‘methods’ I learned the FED will use to win a case.
I am not surprised at this outcome. I also wrote to egold to express my interest in assisting, with some contacts in DC. I rec’d almost no reply - “thanks for your comments and support” - DDU.
Egold has customers worldwide, yet seem content to let them passively sit by and watch.
If US legislators have the guts to question whether or not the US is money laundering with the N Korea deal, certainly politicians could be pressures by “we the people” to take a look at this disgusting display of the FED’s arrogance.

“the Defendants’ Motion is hereby DENIED. This is a final appealable order.”

I wonder whether e-gold will appeal. I hope so.

I have trolled this blog for a long time now. I guess I will speak up on thiis. I have been a member of E-gold since the early days 121XXX. Even before there was E-gold I was online doing HYIP ( UWF,SG etc… ) and even before there was online HYIP I was in things like Rainbow and WNH and greater ministries ( Used to be done by mail then ). I seen all these patterns repeat themselves over and over again and it is sickening.

This is just like grateful said. When the US government comes after you as a company it has nothing to do with compliance or your legal team. The law is only an explaination of why you are targeted. The result is always the same and with the adminisitration as it is now it is even worse. I am not talking about Parties guys instead I am taling about the belief system of a neocon. I own and have ran a website and used E-gold for years selling our forex alerts and trading software.

The system is more convenient than any other

The customer base is a more renaissance type of
      free thinkers

The spends are irevevocable and I can’t say how many times my Paypal account was temporarily frozen just because of Paypals incompetance.

I hope the best for E-gold and I am a BIG fan of digital currency but over about 15 years NEVER once the government decides to attack have I seen them bow out gracefully. We all know it is so but we love our industry group or subculture (whatever you want to call it )so much we don’t want to face it. I have been away for ages but things are kind of cool here ( exciting Web 2.0 stuff ) and you can’t break the human spirit so 5 e-gold models will emerge for every 1 the Govt interferes with only each new model will be better planned and executed than the last. This is just part of an undeniable historical cycle and the human spirit will always be free. E-gold represents that because as Dr. Jackson was saying how is it that in this day and age only one body ( Fed reserve ) has irrevocable spending authority when none of us as individuals or business really do.The Creature from Jekyll Island will someday be vanquished by the peoples free spirit.

As most of you guys infered, this is some sort of,will I say conspiracy thing…It happened to folks back in the days that tried to change the world positively and some people with power twisted minds decided to stop them…I belive it all pass…Maybe the FEDs feel so insecure about Egold being the Biggest financial vehicle in the next 10 year….they are stupidly threatened…
