Two months ago or so I used another online payment system to invest in an autosurf site that could pay you a good return. I paid them with LibertyReserve and then requested via AlertPay because they allowed this. That autosurf then paid me. And I requested to withdraw that amount from AlertPay to my bank account. My alertpay account is verified as I sent all my papers and even talked to them on the phone. But they chosed to deny my withdraw and locked my account so that they can get my money. I earned those money correctly by doing webdesign and I knew that I risk to lose them in a autosurf program but never thought that the real thief is Alertpay. I've written them numerous emails and they threaten me with the Interpol and Scotland Yard. Are they kidding me? First of all I'm not obliged to tell no one about my money not to the Interpol, not to the CIA or ANS but even if that was the case they think I'm stupid to think that I did something wrong. And not that they stole my money and are now desperately trying to hold on o them by scaring me. I'm a tough woman, I work in webdesign for so many years and have met a lot of people and I'm able to know when I'm being lied to and stolen from.

I wrote them numerous emails but it's like talking to my parrots they ignore me and keep asking me the same questions that I answer again and again.

God bless,
Elisabeth

For anyone who is thinking of using AlertPay, my advice is don't! I joined this organisation for the sole purpose of paying a third party company in the United States - basically as a mechanism to allow me to pay in pounds Sterling onward to American Dollars.

It's been a week now and my funds are stuck in AlertPay's system (supposedly) "pending". I can log on to their website and see the money in the account but can't get near it, so I'm in a catch 22 situation, I cannot (as planned) pay the American Organization and after sending several E Mails to AlertPay have (as of yet) not received the courtesy of a reply. In addition, I have telephoned them, but nobody is answering the phone.

What a totally unprofessional way of running a business - I regret ever getting involved with same - do yourself a favour and steer clear!

Hi It's catherine walker here again, and after finally getting a reply from Alert pay who asked me to send my bank receipt to them..so that they could track down my $45 transfer of funds.. I still haven't had any response at all. I have sent more than 6 letters to alert pay plus a copy of my bank receipt from the ANZ bank here showing my deposit /Transfer of $45 from australia
to Alert pay...all should be in order..and I should have been able to see clearance of my money by now !
This transfer was meant to clear by the 8th of April 2008
It is now the 1st of may 2008.,,this is just ridiculous.
I am both upset and really horrified that this $45 transfer could take so long to clear...what if this had been a larger amount of money
and what if I had needed
this money for some type of emergency situation..would it still take so long to clear the funds..?
Not only that ..I am horrified that no-one from Alert pay has still
not responded
to any of my letters. I needed this $45 to join an online business..now I feel that the opportunity to make some money from this has
passed me by...I am too late to join and make profit now.

please clear my $45 ..thankyou ..It may not be a lot of money to some people out there..and maybe they are thinking that it's not worth all this fuss..but I do need that money ..plus I'm on carers pension..so money is pretty short around here.

thanks , I hope the CEO can work this out pronto for me.
I'm tired of sending letters to people.

regards from catherine walker

Hi there, I'm worried because I transferred some money $45 Au
dollars to the alert pay account and it was meant to be cleared for me on the 8th of april 2008..It's now the 18th of april2008 and after 4 emails /letters to the customer support there ..I still haven't had any response and have still not seen my money cleared, for me to to use yet..?
It's a shame you know because I really needed that money to join an online business and the money was for a membership fee.
I just wonder why someone couldn't have written to me and explained the delay..?
the money definitely went through from the bank here at ANZ..I went in and sent it personally and have the REF number ect.

Maybe you can help
Thanks

After no reply comment from AP for sometime, I sent e-mail to CS and received reply as below.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
1. We do have a security department that looks through all AlertPay accounts.
If it found the member does not abide by our terms and conditions the AlertPay account is terminated. This however is based on us reviewing the AlertPay account first. The account: https://pradin.com/index.ph will need to be investigated before we can say if they within our terms and conditions.

2. AlertPay is not a bank. We are located in Canada and abide by all laws and regulations applicable to our business.

3. I cannot say I understand you question. US laws and regulations apply
mainly in the US. We are located in Canada.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I can say he/she did not understand some of my questions... (probably my writing)

Very good interview, I liked the fact that SEO of Alertpay agreed to participate in this Interview.

I hope they will grow into large and stable payment processor.
I dont like the fact that only few exchangers accept Alertpay.

>We will get licensed as we fulfill the criteria of becoming
>eligible for licensing.

That sounds very familiar... I understand that Mr.Patel spoke of
licence(s) in the US as a Canadian company, but are we seeing
AlertPay in the same status with CepT?

I would like to ask the followings to Mr.Patel or his staff:

1.
>AlertPay allows all legal businesses in using its services.
>We have no problems with HYIP or autosurf businesses as they are
>not illegal.

I don't understand...
Based on what I've learned about "not illegal" hyip (through NSFG incident, IS FIC movement, some program reviews, etc...), such hyip is really rare.
I looked at one hyip that accepts AlertPay: https://pradin.com/index.php
How do you know that they are a legal business and not a ponzi?
Did you (your staff) actually verify their "business" -
"political advertisement" or "Public Relations Advertising"?

I realise (of course) we have e-gold, but well... since there was such
statement as above, thought just to ask...

2.
>As a Canadian company we must be licensed in Canada.
>After speaking with the OSFI (Office of the Superintendent for
>Financial Institutions) they told us that we are not required to
>register with Canada’s banking laws.

So...is AlertPay licensed in Canada or not?
Sorry it's probably me, but could not determine;
>not required to register with Canada’s banking laws.
Does that mean no licence required, or *licenced* but banking laws
is a separate issue?

3.
Going back to the top:
>We will get licensed as we fulfill the criteria of becoming
>eligible for licensing.

I understand that: AlertPay is located in Canada and registered in both Canada and the US.
What would that make a difference to EMO case?
Are US authorities not going after a company registered in the US
because they are located in Canada? Does physical address only matter?
(I have really no clue; anyone's input appreciated!)
But didn't above & this statement below [in a bracket] apply to EMO as well?
>2. We are not doing enough business in the particular state and
>[there are minimums before even applying for a license.]

Sorry about scattered questions!
Thank you in advance for a kind reply :-)

Folks,

After sending out this interview, I am going to take some time and read any comments on this. I am glad that I did since there are a few things that I have learned here.

To address the few concerns:
- the bank transfers are as fast as the bank and the Federal Reserve allows.
- The Puerto Rico naming thing is something we weren't aware of. It will be noted and brought to the attention of the verification dept.
- John, I am not aware of any HYIP that lost any money due to false upgrades. Maybe you can contact me or our support and get in touch with me to speak to me about this. I would like more details on this issue.

If there are any other comments, I will have someone check it and get back to me, else please do send an email to customersupport to get anything solved.

Hi Firoz,

I hope you will response to the above 2 comments.

As for myself I would like to ask you with regard to a recent case in June that a HYIP program lost more than 10K due to false upgrades through AP.

What happened ? I also heard that AP's response to this problem was slow and lacking.

Any comments on this ?

The one issue i have with AP is that their bank transfers are super slow.

besides that I have no complaints. They are on top of their game. one time that actually took the time to call me after 9 PM on a weekday to make sure that an egold transfer I was making was actually me.

Alertpay is solid from my experiences with them.

AlertPay needs better support.

I tried opening an account and it was tough trying to get support to even understand what I was saying. If you want to open your business on the Internet and work with the global community you need to understand that that community even though it's on the Internet is very different from nation to nation.

I am a U.S. citizen and live in Puerto Rico, in Puerto Rico the government forces everyone to use their mother's maiden name as their last name.

I tried to explain this until I was blue in the face!

If your real name is Jose Rivera and the local phone bill has Jose Rivera Castana, Castana is there because of the way the local businesses and government forces you to use your mother's maiden name.

Get it?

Anyone who reads this, let me know if you understood this. I just want to measure how clueless AlertPay support staff are.
