Investing Online Resource Center - Simple FAQs on Stock Trading
Site ReviewsTags: Investing Online, Stock FAQ, Stocks, Trading Online.
Stumbled upon this with StumbledUpon whilst doing some SEO for our network of blogs.
IORC is a site supported by North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) on educating about online trading and outline the rights of online investors and dispute resolution alternatives.
Are you a risk taker?
Honestly, the quiz isn’t really helpful to me. Probably this will work for kids who don’t know whether they are reading for trading online.
Educating Yourself with Online Trading
The FAQs are good and easy to understand. You get to know your rights as an online trader, some terms like After-Hours Trading, ECNs and ways that you can file a complain on your stock broker, investment adviser or even brokerage firm.
I find this video particularly amusing. So the brokerage firm and the Feds probably take up like close to 50% of your money. lol.
Online Broker Rating
Currently they only have two brokers (Smart Money & JDPower) listed. Not exactly very helpful.
It has links to SEC’s on Investors tips for Online Investing and some other good reads on the dangers of online trading/ investing.
Simulators?
For the novelty of it, IORC has added some flash simulators for you to try out how online trading feels like. Doesn’t feel fun to me. I’d prefer my Meta Trader 4 platform on forex anytime.
So the site is for.. ?
This web is recommended for good FAQ reads if you don’t understand the simple terms of online trading and the risks involves. And if you happen to hit a bogus broker, you’ll know what to do from here.
