Obvious at how they're going at. Well whether E-gold is gonna pull off this indictment will be a testimony on the Federals real behavior on Digital Currency residing in the states.

New competitions are coming up, with C-Gold, Loom and many more springing up. Someone's bound to take over E-gold if this indictment doesn't end soon.

I do agree with allinvain. After watching one of the youtube.com documentary titled zeitgeist: the hidden hand. I am convince that the US government just does not want to see e-gold succeed.

There will be a next only when another e-currency becomes more popular or would be a great treat to the federal reserve. The USD is not backed by gold anymore but the USD is a 'Legal Tender' only.

Not like e-gold.....

e-Gold is the best pay processor so far. FAST and LOW in fees !

The only lacking thing so far in e-Gold is customer service & support.

I hope with this new BLOG, e-Gold will also provide fast and effective support to her customers.

Good news ! ......

Yes Sophie, either Dr. Jackson was arrogant or naive. I think he was more naive than arrogant. He probably did not believe that a section of the US Government would ever come down so hard on them or that they will use such dirty tactics in the process. I respect Dr. Jackson and I am thankful that he brought to market such an innovative system as e-gold, but I am surprised that no precautions were taken to protect e-gold from what some would call the inevitable - government interference.

I strongly believe that e-gold was attacked not due to money laundering concerns but due to the threat e-gold poses to the fiat monetary system; more specifically central bank such as the federal reserve. If more and more people see gold circulated electronically as "true money" and market participants embrace e-gold as a base currency than one can clearly see how this would clash with the interests of the established financial order.

I am curious to know who will be the next target, but I can nearly guarantee you that it will be one of the gold-backed e-currencies. As long as you are circulating funny money around the establishment (meaning the banking cartel that is at the heart and core of the current financial system) has no problem with you, but as soon as you provide the people with a truly liberating financial tool, then watch out because you are now a threat to be dealt with in any fashion.

In conclusion I think that freedom cannot be crushed and e-gold like systems that are better protected will gain the majority of marketshare.

Cheers

He is only changing his tune to be more people friendly because business has dropped, big time.

He wasnt so nice when I told him 2 weeks before the govt infestation to get his office out of the US - which would have saved many people millions.. arrogance and ignorance and stupidity.

hahaha :) umm...yeah, being in legal hot water sure gives you more time to ponder the "deep issues", like the meaning of life, what is the significance of the number 42, etc, etc

A kinder, gentler e-gold? Will wonders never cease?
Let's see how long it takes the DOJ to shut it down.
