Hey Robert Webster. I also just wired e-bullion some funds and I think we are in trouble. Their website is down. There phones are down. They don’t respond to my faxes. So I can only come to one conclusion. We are fucked. Anything we can do to get our money back? I doubt it but figured I would ask.

Perhaps, it may be that I have the cryptocard, but the last activity in my account was way back in the first week of July. The only transactions (three of them) since have been the monthly fees.

Having read your above message, I checked my account to see if I was also blocked as per the (1) months usage rule you mentioned. Noted that my last log in was over two months ago!!

I only wonder if having a cryptocard makes any difference?!

Maybe you already know this but if there’s no activity for more than a month they freeze the account and you have to call them to unfreeze it.

This is absolutely true, I just tried to login to my E-bullion account only to find that it has been shut down. This is unaccpetable.

Liberty Reserve & Pecunix look like the best two contenders right now, as far as industry support (reputation, and # of exchangers that support the currency). Though the recent gush of new entrants that provide total anonymity, are very attractive as well. Time will tell.

About e-Bullion - that they freeze accounts with no justification, no prior warning, etc. is a well known fact, it happened to me personally once and it’s happened to others I know. So that doesn’t worry me too much. What is ‘new’ here is that they’re saying the U.S. Secret Service is investigating them. Any time the Government gets involved in anything, we ALL know how it ends up….

I think I’m going to switch to Liberty Reserve.. anyone have any experience with it?
