Use a separate email address for financial sites, like egold and ebullion. Don't use this email address for anything else. Guard the email address as you do your passwords. The tip is important because phishing sites only send out fake emails to email addresses that they know. If you get an email that says it's from a finaicial site and it's not addressed to your secret email address, then you don't even have to open it to know it's a fake.
