Ah yes… PIPS. That’s a program I don’t think anyone can forget. There have been some historic HYIP scams in the past. The issues with e-gold have caused some momentum to be lost in the HYIP industry, but there are still some good ones out there.

I feel that a lot of old investors in HYIP games have either move on or matured into people looking for real investment opportunities… becoming interested in forex and such, as Jude has.

ChamberOfGold was one of the first HYIP listing/rating sites on the net and a lot of competition has popped up in the past few years, which can be seen as a good thing. I think taking a direction towards news and providing a central place to read all of the hottest discussion on investing news and e-currencies is a step in a good direction since many people have matured from HYIP and are finding an interest in these areas.

Great site you have. I have been trading stock options for the past 2 years and this type of investment is sure no easy feat either.

I still remember the days that I dabble in HYIPs many years ago. Have you heard of Stargames, Pegasus, and the “notorious” PIPS? Now they are all in smoke and the originators of these programs are behind bars.
