I’m sorry, but I just can’t help it
Remember chancer’s post on Agloco was the best thing since sliced bread on NobsHYIP?
Agloco is dead. From an email update,
We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com .
We would like to thank every Member for supporting our effort to bring a piece of the Internet directly to the user. We hope that we can find a way to keep the operations going.
AGLOCO Development Team
Now I’m not sure how many of you agree with him, but I’m not one of them. A couple of people asked me why I haven’t join them and one of them was Peter who ran IbizaTraders, one failed HYIP that dealt with forex.
What’s the Agloco Concept and How Did It Start?
The AllAdvantage took the Internet by storm 8 years ago when it started (read more about AllAdvantage on Wiki) The same group of people closed AA after the ship sank and started AGLOCO. Sad to say, the boat sunk again. You should really check out their blog with some constructive suggestions given by existing members in hoping that AGLOCO takes off. They’re interesting.
Yes it’s free. But there’s something worrying that I’ll cover later.
Too Much Hype
The viral marketing part of Agloco was great. People got excited easily and with everyone spreading the word of the rewards that you get for recruiting, we’ve seen it countless of times; Hype usually kills something, only when proven otherwise through a long period of track records and time.
Up to 4 levels of extended referral system that gets you reward. 4 Tiers? Isn’t it a little too much? I’m never a fan of the MLM/ Pyramid concept.
Delaying Released Viewbar, Does it Track Your Usage At All?
At some point of time with the delayed viewing toolbar, people are wondering whether their usage has been tracked at all for payouts. I am guessing the team got really frustrated waiting for the toolbar to be completed and just went ahead with the release with the pressure of its members.
Success in Member Recruitments, but How is the Advertisers Marketing?
It’s impressive on members recruitment through all forms of advertising, blogs writing, through word of mouth, forum signatures, email campaigns etc on the good books of them in hoping to get more referral down lines; you see them everywhere. They’ve gotten an impressive registered members of over a million.
But are there enough running campaigns on the Agloco Team to get advertisers for the buck for members? Probably not (one huge probable reason on their failure)
What Should You Worry About
For those who’s in Agloco, what you should really think about, and if its possible, is to delete your account since your personal information are all in there. I’m not saying that it will happen but there’s always a slight chance that they might sell your information to any interested marketing companies who might be looking at the vast membership that they built up throughout the months of viral campaigns.
Identity theft is also something that you should be increasingly be aware of.

They dont sound like scammers. Its businessmodel was just doomed to fail.
Would you be able to explain why their business model failed makila?
I am not 100% sure anymore but if I remember correctly agloco did the same thing as cashfiesta. They have a surfbar. Its description says AGLOCO gets paid by companies to reach our Members through our Viewbar™ software. We give that money back to you.
This doesnt work that easily. As usual there are “nada” companies paying agloco for their services. Same with the members. Out of 100k members exactly “nada” people are interested into buying agloco products. All they care about is withdraw, withdraw and withdraw some more money.
It has been tried before in the last 20 years on the net, it doesnt work. Peoples greed kill ideas like agloco. Why does google work then? Well first off google is the biggest of them all. And secondly google only returns a fraction of the money to a fraction of its members. They dont return the money to every single customer.
There is a lot to earn with the advertising market. But if you share the profits with every single member, it really aint that much anymore. 1 add is perhaps worth only 1 cent(cheap, else they wont sell), divide that into 1 million people, they would all recieve 1 dollar for every 100 million ads then. All of them would recieve peanuts. But if you keep the money all to yourself you pocket 1 million$ yourself right?
Well this is clearly just my opinion, but thats what I think about this whole advertising business.
I want to add something. In order for a company to advertise on your site, you need to convinced them that they will make a profit. If you have 1 million visitors, and the company pays just a single dollar for the ad, but 0 people buy their products, you think this same company still gonna give you 1 silly dollar to you for a next campaign? Maybe … but if after 5 campaigns, they still didnt sold anything through your site…you can forget about it.
