I only ever spent $20 with PeterB and was just compounding it and also playing it as a game anyway.
But if my post helps get some back or punishes him for his poor sportsmanship then good.
I actually thought he was legit even through most of the trouble, but his lack of comms and action at the end put him in the sca(u)m bucket.
I have spend a massive $350 and did not get anything back.

based on the replies here, I do get the impression Peter B screwed more people over than Marcos(FXExperts)
Maybe Peter B either scammed more people/more money then Marcos or Marcos secretly refunded a lot of people who decided to shut up afterwards.
Facts are people 5000$ has already been reported after just a couple hours. So looks like maybe you will get a case here Jude.
Altough I stayed away from Peter B myself, and did not lost a cent, It will be interested to see what will happen.

I’m in for $100.01 paid into account 3513156 (Club FX Trader) on the 25th April 2007 batches 79846408 and 79846612, which as it turned out was a few days before the bombshell.
We have got together a group over at GT to discuss the best way of attempting to get all or some of our money back or pushing for Peter Buchner to take a holiday at the South African Government’s expense. It’s a pity that Robben Island has closed down and is now a museum. But I am advised that other government establishments are no picnic so one of those would do as a last resort.
Maybe we should get together and pool our efforts rather than having two separate groups?
I have problems logging into GT and I haven’t really visited GT for a really long time, not that I don’t want to merge the users in.
What we’re going to do here; creating a mailing list for all the affected users and record down the amount of spending. We’re going to either get our money back or report him to relevant authorities.
We’ll engage a solicitor if the amount is substantial. He’s getting on my nerves.

I invested $30.01 with Club FX Trader on April 14, 2007. Batch # 79272603.
My plan was to test the program out to see if it would deliver first, ’cause I found it extremely hard to believe that anyone could consistently generate 20% per month with Forex Trading.
I didn’t want to invest on the 13th, so decided to wait an extra day.
I spent $3319 US, got back $1073.
I spent $500 and only got back $46.
I spent a little over $900 in Club-FX
I’ve spend $800, refunded $40… what a pity after a few months compunding…
I lnvested $100.00, got nothing back. Another scam.
I invested $10,000 and received $497 as part refund.

For better accuracy may I suggest to make the distinction in the reports between net invested money, withdrawn yields, refunds and account balance at the moment of ClubFX crash?
Obviously, refunds are to be seen only after the Club FX stop, like a few people got back 5% of their net investment minus withdrawals (according to PeterB).

I’ve spent $20, compunded it until $40. I was able to receive $14. I still wish i didn’t compound it the last time.

No refund, no interest, not even a reacharound.

I’ve just tried to spend e-gold to 3513156, and to my surprise a preview page came up, instead of “account missing” or “value limit” message…at least it was the latter several months back. No action PeterB took with a lawyer despite he claimed long ago he did…

As far as principal is concerned (not counting interests), I made 3 deposits of $25, $1 and $963.54 which totalled $989.54
However, I have only received a refund (5%) of $49.43 via e-bullion.
