Since Compact Surfing announced that they would reset the cashout counter on April 21, people wondered if that means that they would have 3 more cashouts available from the 21st to May 1st or if it would mean that they would have 3 cashouts from April 21 to May 21st or…. I could go on.

    Apr 7th 2006

Good news. I just heard from one of the admins of Compact Surfing that they will be resetting the cashout counter on April 21st. The reason for this is to make up for those members who weren’t able to receive cashouts on March 31st due to the technical issues. So, it’ll give everyone at least one more cashout opportunity this month than the normal 3.

Well, the admins just sent out the following update. Looks like they’re making quite a push to increase membership and spread the word about Compact Surfing.

    Dear Compact Surfing Members,

We would like to let you know that we have rebooted our dedicated
server and we had a small downtime of 3 minutes. The websites now will work
    much faster than before.

We have attached all screenshots of the payments we have sent today:
    http://compactforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=1773#1773 About 374
payments sent equivalent of about 70000 USD. If you want your big payment to
be there, you need to upgrade more ad units.

We have nearly 1000 registered forum members and 6000 Compact Surfing
members, and we would like to thank you for promoting our website. With
your help and our work we can get CS an autosurf program number, one
very soon. We are growing rapidly and we hope to reach 15000 members by
    the end of April.

Just an FYI for those who requested a refund. I put a ticket into support asking when I might receive my refund. They got back to me saying that checks will be mailed out this week. So, if you requested a refund, don’t expect it any earlier than next week.

I’m pretty excited about this one. This isn’t an autosurf that I got paid from (no offense), but Guardian International Travel (or G.I.T.). They are more of a brick and mortar business. Check my prior posts on this one if you want more info or you can take a look at my blog.

    Apr 2nd 2006

Wired Surf has just sent out an update about a couple of changes in their payment process. Basically, they’re changing the time frame to receive payments from 7 business days to 5 business days. However, please realize that this means you will be paid on the 5th business day after your upgrade expires, NOT BEFORE, so don’t expect it to come any earlier. People in the Voting Club will still receive payment within 48 hours, but you need to have an active upgrade to be in the Voting Club or you’ll lose your spot.

The payouts are still going slow over at BlackGoldSurf, slower than I originally thought. I thought they had started paying out the March 10 upgrades about a week ago, but I was wrong. Also, I didn’t know that Charlot no longer had a staff (at least when they weren’t in school). It’s just her now, which is really worrisome.

    Apr 1st 2006

Compact Surfing just sent out an email assuring people not to worry about the current issues they’re facing and the fact that the site is currently down. Per the message below, you don’t need to panic if you can’t access the site and are not able to surf because a surf holday has been declared. Now go out and have some fun.

    Mar 31st 2006

Like a lot of you, I don’t feel comfortable sending Alien Trust any of my sacred personal info (at least not any more than I already have). Therefore, I contacted support about getting a refund last night. They got back to me this morning and said that they are processing refunds, but by check. I don’t quite understand why they can’t just transfer it back into my E-gold account, but at least I can get my money out. So, I gave them my address and hopefully I’ll get it my rebate check soon.

    Mar 14th 2006

Even though Phoenix Surf doesn’t use EMO as one of its payment processors (they only use E-gold), they sent out this email giving their 2 cents on the EMO’s current situation.

    Dear Phoenix and NME Members,

As many of you are aware, EMO is currently undergoing some challenges
with the sate of Texas. There has been much speculation, including a
press release from the Texas Attorney General.

    Mar 14th 2006

This may be day old news, but I just read it on BlackGoldSurf’s forum. It’s from the site admin and lists the new earning rates (8% for 15 days) among other things. I’m still waiting to be paid for an upgrade, so we’ll see how smoothly that goes. Here are the other updates:

    Hello members!

    Mar 9th 2006

Not sure if y’all have heard about this opportunity, but I thought I’d relay this one to the NOBS community. It’s called Guardian International Travel (or G.I.T.). A friend of mine introduced me to it and I’ve been involved in it for about a month.

    Mar 2nd 2006

Today, EngageSurf posted a refund form on their website. It seems that you can only request a refund amount no higher than 61% of your membership fees in total - your received payouts in total. Not sure how they came up with 61%, but we’ll just have to make due. Hopefully, you kept records of your transactions, so you can figure out how much you’re eligible for.

    Mar 1st 2006

This was posted on EngageSurf’s now defunct home page today. I guess this is where they will be posting updates.

Currently we are in process of developing refunds strategy and policy. It may take up to 1-3 days. From Friday you should be able to fill the refund form, which will be available till 7th March. Then we will start processing refunds.

Hi, everyone. I’m a new contributor to this forum. Allow me to introduce myself… I’m known as G-man on the forums and am just a guy trying to make a buck on the internet. Please check out my blog/excursions if you’d like. Thanks for having me, Jude.
