We need some help here. The forum is ALMOST up.

As we form up a good team of moderators for the new network forum, we would like suggestions on what you’ll like to see in it and what sort of categories will interest you. What can also improve your reading pleasure and participation as well.

    Keep the suggestions coming!

Here’s the next episode of the Debit Card Series with Goldex’s Debit Card. Goldex has been around for quite sometime, with a GDCA accredition for exchanging business.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done any reviews on a debit card, since the previous ones were having problems with NYCC, (my favourite was still gCard), let’s take a look at the current batch of working ones.

I’ve ordered another debit card to review, Goldex’s Debit Card.

Thanks to a lot of readers who gave suggestion on the same card, we’ll take a look once it hits my mailbox.

I’d like to take this opportunity to ask for readers to recommend any valid and reliable card at this point so that I can purchase one to review for our readers. You may reach me via the contact form or email me direct at jude@nobshyip.net

They’re convenient, cheap to purchase and look cool (lol). The usual debit cards have no names printed apart from the card number which actually looks like your regular ATM number. So why would you want to use debit cards?

To summarize it we’ll look the benefits of using one.

    The Good

You have to find an exchanger for your E-gold to load VMCard, which means its out of the picture as it’s costly to do so. The card looks really good though with the rest of the features, I might still consider reviewing it later.

    Jan 22nd 2007

I have two cards that came in, namely VM and Chronocash.

We’ll be reviewing the cards as soon as I get them activated, and I’ll do my usual diligence on how the funds are being credited. Stay tuned.

My personal portfolio has been restructured again for easy viewing, and if you’re a number person who wants to know how much I’ve dumped into what I believe, head down to the portfolio to take a peek :)

Please ignore all the reviews I have written for gCard, Cash-Evo, Uniclear as they’re part of NYCC. I’ve tried looking around and emailed some of the companies to see whether are they still doing any debit card fundings, so we’ll wait. If anyone is interested on the cease and desist order blog entry, it’s here.

I’ve accidentally thrashed this email but thank god I didn’t miss it.

    Dear Cardholder,

We regret to inform you that all current card programs sponsored by CU-Connect and North York Community Credit Union (our issuing bank) are being wound down on a step-by-step basis. Unfortunately this includes all current gCards.

I found this information on eCommerce-Journal. Be careful to all Virtual Money Debit Card users.

I received a phishing email and would like to warn people about it. I know from the beginning it’s a phishing email as I don’t have Virtual Money debit card. To those of you who have, beware of it. The email as follow:

A lot of ppl are looking for an easy and cheap way to cashout their e-gold and recently I’ve been approached by some ppl asking how to cashout their e-gold.
BestGoldCard is a normal plastic card and probably the best way to get funds out of your e-gold into your ATM Debit Card and you can do it INSTANTLY. You can use it in almost every stores with a PIN Number Card Reader. The card costs $89.95 + shipping: If you order your Card by 1pm, your card is shipped the afternoon.
So again this card is instant funding from your e-gold into your card and from your card in an ATM. And when you log-in their site (with your password and PIN number), you can keep a track and watch ALL your transactions.
For those who are interested to make money with this card (not sure it’s a good thing), this Debit Card can be also an extra source of income with a Referral system.
The negative point IS: Most of the time Debit Cards have a short-life but only time will tell if this one will last longer.

Found this on HYIPD, whilst waiting to confirm the source is coming from gCard, a headsup.

This is a confirmed source from gCard themself.

Unfortunately the Superintendent of Financial Institutions in British Columbia has issued a Cease and Desist order on North York Community Credit Union to stop all cash card operations in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
